There is nothing I don't like, using Braze is very easy and intuitive

Braze is a robust, intuitive, and ever improving CRM powerhouse.
What do you like best about the product?
I was new to CRM when I started 3 years ago, and I'm glad to have started with Braze. It was easy to pick up yet sophisticated. Robust without being daunting. It's also ever-evolving. The Braze team is very open and welcoming to critiques and improvements. If there is some feature you can dream of, the Braze team is either already working on it, or will give it to their team. This makes it so you're never quite a master, because there are always new features to learn about and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you need to do workarounds for simple things, such as if you want to deploy a communication at the end of every month, there's no easy way to do that. You can deploy on that same day once a month, but since months change amount of days, it's not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my old position, we needed event properties to persist through an entire canvas journey. After the first step. They just disappeared, meaning we had to use web hooks to turn those event properties into custom attributes, which costed us data points. Braze came out with both User Update (creating custom attributes without a data point cost) and persistent event properties around the same time, offering us two solutions for our problem, saving the company time and money and headache.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the range of marketing automation tools that Braze offers. The ability to segment and target our audience based on their behaviors and attributes has been particularly useful for us. We've also seen great success with personalized email campaigns and in-app messaging. Overall, Braze has helped us increase our customer engagement and retention rates. In terms of comparing it to other platforms, I would say Braze has a pretty intuitive and user-friendly interface, which has made it easy for our team to get up and running with it quickly. There have been a few minor hiccups along the way, but the Braze support team has always been quick to help us resolve any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if Braze could provide a bit more flexibility in terms of analytics. It would be great if Braze had more robust integration options to allow for a more seamless workflow. That said, I have provided this feedback to the Braze team, who have indicated that they are improving their integration capabilities. Regarding other features, I would love to see more advanced A/B testing options within the platform. Overall, I think Braze is a robust platform, but like any tool, there is always room for improvement.

Over the past few years, the company has made significant strides in expanding and enhancing its features and functionality, and it is clear that Braze is committed to helping businesses succeed through effective CRM tactics and strategies. The company has a strong track record of listening to customer feedback and implementing changes and updates based on this feedback, which is a testament to its dedication to meeting the needs of its users. I'm excited to see what Braze has in store for the future and how it will continue to help businesses achieve their goals through its innovative platform.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface has been a gamechanger for us internally from using a competitor which unfortunately was something that was pretty basic. We are able to wiz around Braze interface and set up everything we need from within the tool. This is quite a leap from using beefree (a email design tool), litmus for testing and Airship for all our Email, Push and In-App needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be a design option to save/update content blocks from within templates designed rather than having to go and edit any content blocks individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved segmentation, message reporting, streamlining CRM & campaign development, and testing. We struggled to test campaigns with our previous tool of choice.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze has an incredible development team and support network, constantly working hard to deliver a 5-star experience. From top-end development of the product offerings to resolution of the simplest of beginner queries, Braze is always on hand and ready to help, enjoying working together to resolve and improve all aspects of the platform and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more technical aspects seen in other platforms like data manipulation on the fly (SQL/JS/Dimension Tables etc.) aren't as widely available within Braze. Although you can format variables easily with Liquid syntax and create vivid dynamic content with tools like 'Catalogs' and 'Connected Content', it does force the product owners to consider using a customer data platform to do the heavy lifting. In my opinion, this is a preferred method anyway, ensuring that any data present in Braze to be used in displayed content, is in its final format upon arrival. So it does move this aspect of data control further upstream, but then equally enables the end user to create more freely and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze can solve many problems for many different business goals - predominantly focussed around interconnecting platforms or toolsets and moving you towards a centralised and governed approach to your marketing data and content. For example, based on client feedback, Braze Development Team recently updated the connected content data pipeline. This update enabled a clearer reporting picture of the sub-level control groups being applied within a Canvas Flow. This level of commitment and desire to achieve results always keeps me coming back to Braze with a smile.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze allows our team to create many automated user journeys that follow their experience on our website. There are many possibilities for personalization to ensure our messages are sent to the right customers at the right moments!
What do you dislike about the product?
It might require some support from the IT team for configuration at the beginning and whenever you want to develop new placements and features from Braze. So probably won't be suitable for small companies with limited tech support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us increase our users' activities on the platform depending on their stage in the users' life cycle and hence, boost activation and help churn prediction.
Powerful CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it's been designed for multiple channels by nature (emails, push, SMS etc.) and that it works very well for many stacks/tech architectures (from quick plug-in with Shopify to custom API).
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like some of the limitations Braze puts in place in terms of data consumption or segment builds. It would also be much more efficient to have access to chat support (like many other CRM tolls) to fix quick issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us have a holistic view on what we are sending to our users. It helps make sure our communications are tailored and adapted to each individual across multiple channels.

Finding attributes to use in liquid and even finding the proper help to use liquid can sometimes be challenging.

We previously didn't have a lot of access to reporting or segmentation, so that's been really helpful.

The reporting capabilities and the data extraction for analysis are poor; selecting only 50 campaigns and not having a scheduled ability to automate this process is taking valuable time from our team.

Most of the interactions we want to build between our communications strategies and our customers.
Braze - Quick to learn with lots of depth
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to send a campaign out to the masses. A lot of configuration allows you to set up the campaign that you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of pitfalls will render the campaign not firing or firing inaccurately. There are no checks in places, it really relies on the user to make sure the campaigns are properly set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us target our marketing campaign to the users we want. It also allows for custom segmentation which is extremely important as we tailor these campaigns to different groups of users.
