Great for App brands
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great martech tool for communicating with users if you have a brand App.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you need to know a substantial amount of HTML and SQL. It's not your usual drag n drop campaign management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile Marketing is works well with Braze.
I'm using Braze for over 2 years and it's a really powerfull and user friendly app.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thier automation ability and level of complexity allows us to deliver personelized and multi channel comms in a fast way.

Great features, but there could be better support and help with implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Having a weekly touchbase call with our customer success manager and the features within Braze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a rush to get onboarded and we were not onboarded during that 3 month or so period. If you have a question, you just get sent confusing documentation. It is also really hard to get help from technical support. I think customer success managers should be able to answer questions about the features and platforms that are supporting brands. I wish Braze was more open to have a technical support rep for each account or more willing to set up calls with a brand and Braze technical support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't really know if Braze is solving anything for us. We had push notifications and were using another vendor previously, but we just wanted to consolidate vendors as an enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
Strong personalization & dynamic content, flexible segmentation & audience targeting, strong deliverability & reliability at scale, and analytics, testing & optimization tools are all strengths that I think Braze has.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support could be improved a little when issues arise - It can be hard to get support sometimes with Braze Issues. Other than that, I love the platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze does really well with fulfilling our needs more that other platforms I've used before. Most email platforms do not fulfill all of our needs, they do not integrate the way that we need them to as Angel has specific needs relating to our streaming platform specifically.
I love the Learning documentation, the courses and community that Braze offers.
What do you like best about the product?
I find Braze interface easy to use and there is plenty of help available including Braze university, with lotsof coursese and documentation as well as the Braze community.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems there are always barriers to what and how we can use the features. Because I don't work on the technical and data side it seems like there is always a lot of work involved in getting things set up, something that seems to be simple is over complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to intelligentally connect with our existing customers at critical points of their user journey. Our CRM work is one of our businesses biggest revenue streams.
Braze User For 3+ years
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the UI of the product. It is clear, easy to understand and provides an enormous amount of value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data abilities are limited from my understanding. There is a lot offered but not as much of a deep dive as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze makes it easy as a one stop shop. They handle everything needed from audience segmentation, deployment, etc etc.

Content blocks are incredible helpful, and their drag and drop template as well. Canvas are easy to build.
What do you dislike about the product?
- You cant group segments with OR / AND, as in (X AND X ) OR (X AND X)
- You can't target content cards based on a URL
- You can't save blocks to reuse on drag and drop
- Can't see analytics per comm in a canvas in a intuitive way

It's a lot of dev work, the feedback from support can be muddled

Fkexibility of system, excellnt support and strategic direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor bugs can be annoying day to day but in the main, faultless.

Personalisation across channels and ability to include and exclude audiences across different platforms.
A Great Platform With Great Support From Braze
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop email build interface provided an easy solution to email builds for a new hire while they would be on their own while the senior members of the team were out on paternity leave. We have since implemented this in place of our existing html build.
What do you dislike about the product?
No option for video or phone calls with support (zoom or otherwise, scheduled etc.). In the past we've had a breakdown in communication while trying to explain issues over email and screenshots, something which could have been clarified in realtime with screen sharing over zoom. There are some issues with the platform that aren't great, like how product purchase data exists in Braze, tied to user profiles and is usable for segmentation, but not usable with liquid for dynamic personalisation. This has resulted in months of work to create a new attribute to pass data through with an event to essentially store information that is already there in a different way. Braze support were very helpful with getting this to work, but it was a lengthy process and we'll still have to backfill older user's data. I'm sure this will be something they'll enable with an update in the future but it's actually pretty amazing that this isn't available already. It's things like this which on the surface seem like they should be easy to do, that end up being difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows us a central location to handle all of our customer data and in turn use it to send campaigns to those customers. It allows us to send automated campaigns when we need to, and also see the results of those campaigns in real time in a clear and concise way.
