What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration and quick responses.

Sometimes unsure of who to contact for technical questions. Not a big deal though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking push notification campaign effectiveness and giving us a ton of features we wouldn't normally use.

- Great Customer Support team
- Makes it easy for marketers to get a lot done without needing additional engineering support after initial integration (they provide webhook templates, pre-coded click and drag email builders, and more)

What do you dislike about the product?
Not many cons to report other than that you have to be mindful of data allotment and usage in order to keep costs within your contract range. With the support of their team, however, you can plan for this thoroughly and they'll help you monitor data usage and potential overage fees proactively throughout the contract term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us to send personalized and timely messages, test messaging and creative, launch and test net-new marketing channels, and makes it easy for us to pass all of our data back into our core reporting systems.

- I wish there was a way to write a query to export records that match certain data points

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling us to bring our CRM communications across channels. Previously, we had different vendors for email vs. push, in-app and onsite messages.
Easy to use while offering insightful data
What do you like best about the product?
Canvas - User journey communications based on activity, actions or inactions by customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor details - users' last message received (app inbox messages) is based on the last time they opened the message not when it was sent. Would be great to display both, the last time a msg was sent vs last msg received.
Had to set up 2 different canvases (1 for inbox or in-app messages and another for email/push) due to all users not passing through the first step even after selecting to advance the entire audience.... 1st step being an in-app msg.

Some reporting stats of how unique opens are calculated or total clicks containing unsubscribes is a bit misleading imo

- Braze has built a platform that integrates all channels for a full CRM experience - SMS, email, app push, etc.
- The components (content blocks, templates, canvas) are flexible enough that we can solve for any idea.
- With a simple UI, this tool is easy to pick up. Dig in and you'll master it in no time.
- Support response times are incredibly quick.
- The platform is always improving and even has a portal where users can make suggestions. A tool built to fit my exact needs? Who could ask for more?

What do you dislike about the product?
- Finding answers for unique use cases, especially around things like anonymous users, can take extra time. There's not a lot of documentation around these kinds of campaigns.
- (updating my review in fall 2025) The connection between workspaces has improved, but it's still not consistent across the board, resulting in some duplicative work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With excellent automation features, Braze handles our high-level sends to all customers. This helps our team zero in on a granular level and think strategy instead of dealing with daily campaign builds.
Powerful software that is easy to use, yet features virtually endless capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Braze makes creating mobile marketing campaigns a breeze (seriously -- it takes me about 20 minutes to train new colleagues on how to do the basics) yet there are so many ways to play with audience targeting and segmentation. On top of that, you can't get better customer support. I work in a niche industry, which means unique needs to reach a unique audience, and my customer success manager understands that. Anytime they make suggestions, it's always with my particular industry in mind and that's really appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
My needs for reporting are pretty simple, so I don't mind what's offered with Braze reporting; however, the reports that Braze creates aren't the cleanest. Our data scientist sighs every time I send her one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team does not have a lot of bandwidth to dedicate to mobile marketing, even though our app is important to us, so having a simple tool like Braze really helps us do a lot with very little time needed.

Simplicity of use. Easy to onboard users who are new to email marketing. Robust segmentation and conversion metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Engagement reports are a disappointing piece of Braze. Would be great to have more comprehensive reporting and data dating further back than 1 year.

Allows us to segment our very large database into stratgic segments. Target users via multiple channels to make sure our message is getting across.

It makes building and publishing campaigns very easy!

It can be very slow sometimes. I think that autosave should be in the future for braze!

Braze is very user friendly and easy to learn especially for someone from a non-technical background

The reporting part of the platform still needs a lot of improvement

We use Braze for our B2C communications i.e. for emails, push and in-app marketing. It helps reach our users most effectively. I love the automation capabilities Braze offers.
