Canva is awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is easy and is a dream for an independent business owner who doesn't have a degree in graphic design or has any knowledge at all in Photoshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of a thing I dislike. I wish the branding fonts could be free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing is easier. I love all the different templates and sizes that you can use for different platforms!

This is perfect for small business owners and non-profits who need marketing graphics and are on a budget.

it is a really easy tool to use to design flyers and such. it helps the creation/design process enormously but when you want to print it, the quality is super HQ.

Has some paid things and some are free.. Like all the options on the photos, such as clipart, photos, linedrawings etc

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simple, tasteful layouts of the design templates and the wide variety of publicity platforms for design (social media, resumes, infographics etc.). It makes anyone feel like they can tackle creating their own design for promotional purposes, it is very user friendly, and every time I log on, there are always new templates added to the line-up.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have anything more than a basic understanding of Microsoft Publisher or any Adobe or other design products, the editing features on Canva may frustrate a more experienced designer. Canva really streamlines the design process, so starting from scratch with a design or attempting to modify a templates' overall design may be a challenge. For quick, simple but visually appealing designs, Canva is perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me gain confidence in testing out my own designs, and has helped me teach other people in my office about the basics of designing flyers or social media images. I have realized that it is very user friendly, and leaves an impression with its eye-catching designs. I can quickly and easily respond to feedback on my designs with the online format, and the variety of downloadable file types makes converting my designs a simple process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have little experience, this is the program for you. Consider starting with Canva for simple mock-ups of designs if you have more experience, then see if you can add more detail later. Make recommendations to Canva about other templates they could provide. I think adding a policy brief section would be extremely helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is easy to use and it allows me to make professional, quality images that are shareable for social media. I like the large variety of templates, fonts, and pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a limit on photo storage. Sometimes there are glitches with the program and some of my projects turn white and I cant see anything. Im not really sure why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me finish my design work in a timely manner. I like the user-friendliness of this website. They are constantly updating to add new templates or illustrations to add.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Canva is a great tool for anyone in the marketing field, especially to those who are not savy with graphic design. Its nice that it offers vectored logos if you use the paid version.

I love the ease of designing different projects. The templates are great and quick to pull onto your space. I love that there are many different fonts and settings that you can adjust, like spacing of your text, and moving things around where you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish their were more free graphics to download - seems like all the good ones are the ones you have to pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Canva to build web ads, flyers, logos, etc. I normally use InDesign, but sometimes it easier to use Canva. I love that there are many different social media templates that are already sized and ready to go for what we need to do.

Upload your own images so you don't have to pay for pictures/graphics if possible

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Canva is how user friendly it is. I do environmental education, and recently, our high school interns have been using it for a variety of their service learning projects. The outputs are always extremely professional and impress the audience every time, but little do they know how quick and easy it is! It is a great tool to create modern, aesthetically appealing designs of all kinds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although you could have multiple designs being edited at one time I really wish you could have multiple users editing the same design at the same time, similar to google drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are constantly creating material for events, activities, presentations, etc. Through Canva we have been able to use one simple platform to create flyers, yearbooks, posters, invitations, presentations, game board pieces, brochures, banners, maps and more! Before our staff would have to do most the editing, but with how user-friendly it is, we have been able to have high school students create almost all their content on their own.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it. It takes a bit of exploration and getting use to but once you get going your designs will thank you!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the opportunity I have to choose between using pre-made templates on days I'm not feeling extremely creative or having the to put my creativity to the test and create my own designs from a blank canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have is the way that uploads are organized. I wish you could sort the uploaded in some folder system, so I wouldn't have to scroll so far down my uploads to find a logo I uploaded months ago - for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it much easier to create social media posts in bulk for my clients who have presence on Facebook and Instagram.

What do you like best about the product?
The cost of canva for what you get is unbeatable! Its basically like "easy photoshop" for idiots, ha! I love that canva has so many different creating options. The "types" of things you can create on there is amazing, and they have magic resize which love because it resizes your creation to being any other size with out having to recreate the image.
I also love that it auto saves & keeps my work located on their platform. I'm not always in the office when I'm creating so I love I can access it from anywhere.
I also love that I have brought canva into my home for fun things such as parties, and invitations.
Over all I think the program is amazing and it fulfills my needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are not too many things I dislike about Canva, but to name one I would say I wish there were more unpaid "prop photos" There are sometimes when I want a simple image I have to improvise because I dont want to pay 2 dollars for a sunshine. BUT I think that more so has to do with cost & My cheapness :)
The second would be with the social sharing- I wish when you shared from inside canva that it would share the image you made, not a message about "I created this image with canva check it out"

The major business gap we filled was marketing materials- advertisements are so easy to create now that we use Canva.
I realized that Canva helped replace our lease of photoshop. So costs are down.
We now post way more custom pictures on social media because Canva allows us to create with ease

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is easy to use and has a easy drag and drop interface. Users are able to create beautiful creations with little to no design experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is not anything I dislike about the product. Even if you purchase a subscription, the cost is worth the additional features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In education, we use Canva in our course and professional development materials.
