Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Licenses count toward an institution-wide threshold. Once your institution purchases enough licenses, based on its full-time student count, it can unlock access for the entire student body at no extra charge. Pricing scales with the number of license bundles you purchase, not with usage. There are no separate tiers or add-ons here; you scale by adding more of this same unit.

Each license gives one person access to the platform's premium creation and collaboration features. Licenses go to staff, faculty, and administrators. They can create documents, presentations, videos, whiteboards, and websites. Each named person uses one license. The bundle here provides 50 such licenses.
Licenses first cover the staff and administrators who hold them. Your institution can unlock access for the entire student body once you buy enough licenses to meet a threshold. That threshold depends on your full-time student count. Student access then comes at no extra charge.
You scale by purchasing more of this same 50-license bundle. There are no separate tiers or add-ons. Cost grows with the number of bundles you buy, not with how much you use them. Added licenses also count toward the threshold that unlocks student-body access.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and I love the availabilty of so many images and templates. It's also great to have a printing option.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium option price is a little steep but it is a good value, and the printing prices are very competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use templates that I've saved and update them to make posters, and social media posts. I've also been able to affordably print business posters and business cards using their services.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva makes it easy for me to create polished, on-brand images that support the articles I publish, even though I am not a designer. Its intuitive interface, templates, and brand tools help me produce professional visuals quickly and confidently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I don't like about Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows me to create on-brand images myself using guidelines set by our design team. This helps me produce visuals more efficiently while reducing the design team’s workload. All images are still reviewed and approved before publication.

The main downside of Canva is that some advanced design and editing capabilities are limited compared to professional software. Performance can occasionally slow down on complex projects, and many premium assets and features require a paid subscription. The AI tools are helpful but still need human review and editing to produce the best results. Overall, for me personally these drawbacks are relatively minor considering the platform's ease of use and value.

It allows me to produce presentations, social media graphics, marketing materials, and internal communications efficiently while maintaining a consistent and professional brand image.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Canva is the ease of use. The ready-made templates and the simple editor help create designs quickly, even without mastering advanced tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my still limited use, I notice that some of the best models and resources are reserved for the paid plan. For more advanced work, I would also like to have more precise editing controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me create simple visual pieces and drafts quickly, especially when I need to adapt content for different formats. This reduces the time spent on basic design tasks.
