Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Each license gives one person access to the platform's premium creation and collaboration features. Licenses go to staff, faculty, and administrators. They can create documents, presentations, videos, whiteboards, and websites. Each named person uses one license. The bundle here provides 50 such licenses.
Licenses first cover the staff and administrators who hold them. Your institution can unlock access for the entire student body once you buy enough licenses to meet a threshold. That threshold depends on your full-time student count. Student access then comes at no extra charge.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which you can turn an idea into a polished, professional asset is unmatched. The massive library of high-quality templates, stock photos, and brand kits means I don't have to start from scratch every time I need a social media graphic or a quick presentation deck. The real-time team collaboration is incredibly smooth, and features like the one-click background remover save me hours of tedious editing work every single week.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel very restrictive if you want to create something truly unique or custom from scratch. The lack of precision vector editing tools makes it frustrating when you need to tweak specific anchor points or design custom shapes. Also, the search functionality within the elements tab can be overwhelming, often burying clean, professional graphics under thousands of tacky, cartoonish animations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It completely democratizes design across our company and breaks the bottleneck with our core marketing team. Instead of waiting days for a professional designer to create a simple banner or an internal flyer, anyone on our team can jump into Canva and build it themselves within minutes using our pre-loaded brand fonts and colors. It saves us massive amounts of time and keeps our visual identity consistent.

A lot of great designs are locked for the Pro plan, leaving the basic ones for the Free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need a dedicated designer for designing stuff. I can do it by myself.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that, when I want to create a social media design or even a simple website, I can use several great features and draw from lots of design examples. I also like mixing different designs and using the nice fonts the platform has. I’m not a designer, but even so I can do a lot with it for my Instagram, for party invitations, and I even made my own wedding party website as well. I like to use AI to create some things, because it's better to have something that is only for me. And the price to have the best features is very fair for me. The platform is fast and I like to use because it's simples, memorable, and I can do whatever I want to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI doesn't understand what I want to do. Specially to create images. And it's not clear for me what integrations I can do in this platform, like APIs, other platforms. Usually I go for designs only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can do good and helpful designs for social media, for websites, my brand stuff. I created a logo for myself.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Canva is how easy it makes creating professional-looking designs without needing advanced design skills. The wide range of templates, graphics, fonts, and editing tools helps me create social media posts, presentations, marketing materials, and other content quickly. I also like the drag-and-drop interface and the ability to collaborate and access designs from different devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Canva is that some advanced features and premium elements are only available with a paid plan. The large number of templates and design options can also feel overwhelming at times. Occasionally, the editor can become slow when working with complex designs or large projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me solve the problem of creating professional and engaging visual content quickly without needing advanced graphic design skills. It makes it easier to create presentations, social media content, marketing materials, videos, and other branded designs in one place. The templates, AI tools, and collaboration features save time, simplify the design process, and help me produce consistent, high-quality content more efficiently.

Easy to use. At first, you do need to explore a bit, but its AI feature is very, very helpful. You can create your own brand kit, and some of the readily available templates are really good. Overall, it’s an amazing tool for a small business.
