Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for creating ads and graphics to use across a spectrum of media

We are using Canva in place of buying an Adobe software

If you are a non-profit, I'd highly recommend using Canva instead of an Adobe product. Canva offers free solutions for non-profits which makes it extremely valuable.
So easy to use and makes you look like you know what you are doing!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates, especially the social media sizes that are so easy to use right away. They continue to add quality graphics and clipart as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike really. Most of the things that used to annoy me a bit have been fixed or updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to make, quick graphics for when our designer is busy working on other items.

Canva honestly completely changed our PR and ability to put our consistently excellent graphics even without having a dedicated graphic design person on our small staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that some of the pre-made templates had a higher degree of editability in regards to your ability to customize the lettering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small ministry we do not have the ability to hire a full time or even part time graphic design staff member. Canva allows us to put out excellent graphics without having to have this ability. Honestly, they look better than when we did have a dedicated and trained person in this area.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva will enable you to put out consistently excellent graphics, regardless of the experience that your team may have in this area! I truly believe that displaying excellence in your marketing will help your small business, ministry, or organization to grow and to become more well known in your area.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to use one of the designs and edit it to fit what I am trying to make. There are so many different things you can do from facebook, twitter and instagram posts, flyers, resumes, and more! It can literally do anything you need to. I LOVE Canva!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything i dont like. I guess the only thing I would say is being able to search better through some of the library they have. I like using their templates but wish I could more easily search for what I am looking for.

It is a great tool to make our marketing and social media material more modern and up to date. We are trying to polish our image and this has really helped.

I love the trendy design templates it provides for those who are not graphic designers.

I don't like that I can't change the dimensions after I've started a project or to use for different types of media.

My business doesn't have a marketing chair so this program is convenient for that purpose and it doesn't have to be time consuming.
Best online software for professional looking advertising
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Canva are the templates. They are creative, professional looking, and allows you to create great marketing materials quickly and efficiently. Besides the program itself, I love getting the helpful "Tips" emails from the Canva crew. They have a great blog that is helpful is keeping up the latest trends, and tips for making your material better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike it the fact that they don't have a "save as" feature like other programs. I end up making adjustments to the same open file and end up ruining the first creation, which now isn't saved, causing me to start all over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Canva I am able to spend less time creating daily social media posts. This APP has plenty of templates for all social media & marketing platforms, which makes it easy to upload to a certain site. For instance, I am able to create a much better facebook banner, that relays important information to our followers, that is easy to read and fits perfectly into the space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you save your work. If you want to use one creation but make changes to it for another marketing need, go to the main page, copy that previous post you made, and make the changes for the new post to that copied one.
Canva—Photoshop Alternative for Blog/Social Media Graphics
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a multitude of premade social media and page templates for all sorts of purposes. Whether you're writing an ebook for a free download or making customized graphics for Pinterest, there are hundreds of layouts available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The paid version is actually more expensive than Photoshop if you're paying monthly. (If you opt for the yearly paid plan, it's the same price.)
The free version doesn't allow you to search items by "free." You actually have to pay for it in order to properly filter free photos, which I feel should be a basic feature.

Canva is a user-friendly product for designers (or even non-designers!) who don't need all the functionality of Photoshop. It also has a great system for sharing your work with a team and storing the resources you'll need to create consistent graphics for your brand.

Most of Canva's features are available for free. Only some features are paid, like creating brand colors and templates. However, they do offer a 30-day free trial of the paid version, so give it a try!

Easiest design tool...ever
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop feature makes it the easiest tool to use for design. Plus, there are a ton of free icons and photos to use. I can get my design projects done in half the time now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike but I guess my only critic is sometimes it has a lag in saving. But that's rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to make graphics as quick and efficient as possible and Canva provides this benefit for me.

Get the Pro level because the added features are awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly user-friendly, saves me massive amounts of time, and is extremely cost-effective (free if you don't need certain features). Also the pre-set sizes such as facebook cover photo or twitter photo, etc. are incredibly helpful. They also have recently added a fairly large free (stock) photo collection with certain subscriptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's web-based so that creates glitches at times, and the mobile app leaves something to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a pro at tools like photoshop and indesign, so Canva allowed me to have a ton of flexibility and save a lot of time and effort by creating professional-looking graphics that include our logo, brand fonts, and brand colors with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I absolutely love it. It saves time and effort for those not well-versed in the adobe products or with simpler needs. We create most of our social media images using Canva, implementing brand fonts, logos, and colors with ease. Another major plus is the ability to pre-format images to common social media sizes such as facebook post, instagram post, event cover photo, twitter header, etc.

The pre-made layouts are amazing! I love that I can choose one if I'm in a hurry, or just not feeling super creative.

I've noticed that sometimes (only about 5% of the time) things move around when saved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No real problems. The benefits are all of the different template options, the pre-made layouts that can be used or just inspire you and the fact that it's FREE without a watermark. Amazing.
