Save Time and Still Get a Great Look
What do you like best about the product?
Canva's pro level account is well worth it. The added benefits of being able to create a team, upload logos and fonts, as well as build custom color schemes ensures even the least creative person in your department or part of company can create graphics pretty quickly and stay on brand.
Canva also allows you to upload your own photos. It has a pretty good database of fonts and free images (mostly from sites like Unsplash and Stocksnap.io) as well as backgrounds and other elements to make images "pop." If you have little to no graphic design experience, that's ok. There are examples you can build from.

What do you dislike about the product?
Canva's filters and effects are fairly basic, so Photoshop is still my go to for graphics I'd like to blend or add a gradient or more advanced features to. Most designers will prefer Photoshop when producing more detailed work, but Canva is a solid option for clean, simple graphics that require a quick turnaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps us produce graphics quickly in a time crunch. It's also great for social media campaigns that do not require a lot of detail and planning from the creative/design department. Also, if you have a problem with clients or members of your team going rogue and producing their own graphics, Canva is a great solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is great for any team looking to ensure graphics and other marketing stays on brand across the Internet. It's a good, cost-effective alternative to Photoshop and Illustrator.
For smaller businesses with a lower budget, Canva can certainly give you what you need without the splurge on Adobe products. For larger companies, Canva is likely best used in addition to programs like Photoshop and Illustrator—using Canva for lower lever design projects requiring a quick turnaround and Photoshop/Illustrator for more detailed work that may be printed or widely distributed.
Because Canva Pro is so inexpensive (for what you get) and easy to use and learn, it's a nice addition even to teams and/or companies that aren't very design heavy. Again, this tool helps you stay on brand. With it, you can keep your look and feel consistent, while producing crisp work, quickly.

Great for Social Media Strategies
What do you like best about the product?
I found it very easy to use and plenty of free layouts and graphics. Plus, it's cheap if you want to buy one of their images! $1 each. I like that I could just jump right in and start creating without having to train or watch tutorials.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would allow you to create folders to organize your creations and I wish they allowed more control over the grids, for detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media and graphic design! I have been able to create nearly every graphic for our website and social media that I need with no training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! It's free to start. Put your interns on it and see what they come up with. Tell them to use Canva's inspiration pieces as a jumping off point.

Better Social Media Visuals. Less Designer Costs.
What do you like best about the product?
It is so simple to use. That's the most impressive feature. I don't have a graphic design background and I have no interest whatsoever in learning Photoshop or InDesign. But who needs to with Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hand on heart - I do not have anything I dislike about the product. More free images maybe???
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual content is so important and it leaves a heavy reliance on designers. Particularly with social. Now with Canva, even non-design members of our team can create graphics that are more than suitable for so many cases. That's not to say we don't need a designer for the more important jobs. I'm just saying it gives us the ability to rely less on professionals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Honestly just give it a go. You will sign up. But don't confine yourself to the templates. It's so easy to create your own custom specs and designs.
Canva is a fantastic tool for a person with basic design skills that needs output to look good.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not a designer and Canva has enabled me to generate slide decks and ads that look nicely designed. It is extremely simple to use and the amount of functionality available in the free version is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be quirky at times with saving. Also you can change the size of something, you have to recreate in the new size. But it's free, so that has to be considered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to design nice looking marketing assets without a graphic designer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're experienced with Photoshop or Illustrator, this may not be the tool for you.

Once you try, Canva will be your new favorite way to design on the go!
At the same time, the interface is very easy to use and Canva has a variaty of pre-defined sizes for many types of media templates.
It offers an internal database of royalty-free photos and illustrations you can buy for $1 the piece or just chose one of the totally free ones available.
Canva also has its own design school, which is very nice with free design books and tutorials.

Being a designer or not, you will enjoy using Canva to create posters, banners and other smaller designs that you may require for your small business, social media or even for academic works.
The best out there but room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Canva for Work is great and has really opened the door for designers to provide a solution to clients where they can update their own collateral based off templates that are set up for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am looking to use this with clients who do not have an in-house graphics person, but currently there is no option to lock aspects of a template that I create. Ideally, I need to be able to create a text box and now allow certain people to edit the font, size or placement. I want them to only be able to edit the content and not the design. Is this possible? Also, the ability to import an InDesign file would be a huge improvement!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create a design and be able to leverage it so that the end user can update content is fantastic. Before Canva, if the client did not have working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, they had to rely on designers to update content every time they had a change. If Canva can provide the ability to create permission-based templates, where some formatting elements can be locked, this would be my go-to when dealing with small business clients.
Very helpfull, handy and interesting
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can create pretty content for my social media accounts in almost all social networks and it taught me how to create pretty staff. Most of it is free and it doesn't cost much to buy something.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't include facebook or twitter profile foto and logo designing. It also needs more category sorting. I would also like some more fonts. I would also like some more textures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating beautiful content for daily use in the social media with pretty images, shapes etc. Moreover I create monthly facebook and twitter cover pictures with the events of the organization. With its content I even created the logo for my new website, banner, covers for twitter and facebook. Runing a small business it is not easy to have a full time designer. It solved this problem.
