Canva allows me to produce quick art for marketing without needing to be an artist
What do you like best about the product?
Canva quickly allows me to produce excellent thumbnails, blog and social media headers that look professional and well done. It's almost difficult to make something look poor when using this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to give our podcasts, blogs and all social media good looking headers and thumbnails without having a full time graphic designer. It also keeps us from using over-posted stock photos that are all over the internet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
give it a try. You don't pay unless you need the higher end clip art and backgrounds.

The templates and stock photos - most of which are free and AWESOME

Sometimes it can be glitchy when you log out or back in from a shared project

It's a great tool to grow your design work without adding to staff - you can load your own branding easily!
Great Designs Without a Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva because I can create beautiful images without any real design skill. I use my images to boost social and blog posts and people love them!
What do you dislike about the product?
After using it for a few months the image sorter isn't extremely easy to use as there is no filing system for images that have been previously uploaded. I wish I could grab images that I use often (like a logo) without having to scroll through months worth of uploads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency, we started using Canva so the marketing team could create basic images without having to tap the design team for help. Using Canva has freed the design team up to focus on more important design intensive projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an extremely affordable and easy to use product. I highly recommend trying it out!

What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva's ease of use, especially compared to something like the Adobe Suite. As a non-design profession and someone who is just doing design work for a nonprofit that doesn't employ any design professionals, Canva makes it possible for me to create top-quality designs for social media, email, events, and pretty much anything else we need. Also, Canva for Work is free for nonprofits! How amazing is that? I know we don't have it in our budget to pay for design software, but Canva makes it possible for us to keep up.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's almost nothing I dislike about Canva. Sometimes when you want to upload a font that really is free for commercial use, they will reject it, which is annoying if you have already used it on other marketing materials. But you may only run into that if you are switching to Canva from something else. if you're designing all your materials in Canva, which is very possible, then it's got incredible continuity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Canva for all of our marketing materials at the moment. Our designs are high quality but without the price tag that can come with that.

Canva - The ultimate media tool
What do you like best about the product?
The depth of creative options is impressive, even for the free version. There are so many templates that are easily customized to fit any media strategy. The layout of the program is easy to use and understand, making it perfect for users at any professional level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though there is depth with the templates, I feel that there is a slight lack of variety. As said there are a ton of options to choose from when working on a project. However, there are some instances where some templates seem repetitive or uninspired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the ultimate problem of making social media look entirely professional, even when it may not have been created by a professional. Users benefit from Canva not only by easily creating top tier content, but also by being inspired by the tools at their disposal.
Elegant solution for simple graphic design needs
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of templates allows quick and elegant graphic design, all of which are elegant and tasteful
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customization capability causes a bit of blandness in design and little flexibility for other uses than the one intended for ta specific template

The need for quick and inexpensive graphic design for everyday projects, like social media

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE Canva. I truly believe that all digital marketers should at least try it out. I have used it throughout almost all of my jobs and it is so helpful. It makes design very easy and simple, but it still gives you potential to create your own designs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say that I dislike about Canva is search bar. A.) It doesn't let you search for just "free" images. And B.) There isn't a search bar for the pre-created layouts (as far as I know), so you just have to keep scrolling through them until you find one you like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have Photoshop at work and this is the best alternative (I even like Canva better than Photoshop sometimes). Canva makes my life so easy and makes creating designs for social, newsletters, cards ot anything super easy and quick. I'm excited to try out the Pro version.

Try it out, watch the tutorials and start designing! It will save you and your company time and money. You won't regret it.
Canva is a Godsend
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease in which I can create designs. Whether it's a social media graphic or something for a blog or website, Canva makes designing images incredibly easy, especially for someone with no graphic design background. The layouts provide great ideas that I can adjust to fit my needs, or I can start from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be kind of glitchy. I've had it crash on me a few times and have lost all my work. The mobile version is simple to use but I wish there were other template options. Editing text on mobile is also incredibly complicated and frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my team to make quick and easy graphics that we may have outsourced to other designers before, saving us time and money.

Quickly come up with images for a variety of content pieces such as blog posts, email headers, soundcloud clips, etc..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Awesome for creating images. Save your work as templates bc this will allow you to save specific sized images. Most importantly, if you're using these on posts/content where they could appear on facebook or a facebook ad, make sure to run it through the Facebook 20% text checker. If you don't know what that means, look it up, it's important! That's also something I would LOVE if canva built into the product. It would be easy to build in and save me SO much time.
If you don't use Canva already, you're missing out
What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva because it is easy to figure out and navigate. You can utilize this easy to use software to make high-grade images and graphics. I use this software almost every day!
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike about Canva is that it's sometimes hard to resize images in a graphic. Also, it's pretty jumpy. You could make a slight movement and it will completely distort what you were working on if you aren't careful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving with Canva is we are creating our own graphics and images without having to pay for expensive software or hire someone else to do it.

Really take the time to learn all of the different things you can make in Canva and how you can customize dimensions in Canva. The possibilities here are endless!
