What do you like best about the product?
How quick and easy it is to create visual content for any purpose. Few clicks and a lot of choice, especially on the free plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be a few more fonts, but I guess they are provided in the paying version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create non-repetitive visual content for social media posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you look for an easy to use tool that will give you a variety of choice for your social content or other website related needs, it 's one of the top tools in the market.

Canva Has Helped me with Creating a my Brand for my Business

  • September 11, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an intuitive, simple, and easy design aid that I can use for creating blog post visuals as well as eye-catching social media pictures that has helped me build my brand and my business. I do enjoy the variety of shapes and fonts, and really like how all my past projects are stored and can be reused/repurposed for other projects. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to say the one thing I am not too crazy about is the flow of the mobile app: aka the website version seems to offer more opportunities to customize your canvas size whereas the mobile version seems to have a few options to choose from based on what social media platform you will be using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to make visuals almost on a daily basis for my business, so I need something that I can quickly hop into, create, play around with, and rearrange to best suit my brand. Canva does this for me very well. I also enjoy not being tied down to just 4 fonts or 5 shapes and working with that. Canva is my imagination's playground to just throw shapes together to make a great design with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a way to design a logo or brand, Canva is an intuitive, quick, and easy tool to use to get you up and running.

The BEST Photo Editing App For Social!!

  • September 10, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Where do I start?! Canva gives users an experience unlike any other when it comes to creating quality graphics that can be used across a multitude of social channels, as well as formatting fit for blogs, emails, etc. The drag and drop features make customization a breeze. Anyone with no prior design experience can make use of free templates. Free MODERN templates. Plus the option to scroll through and see what others are creating is a great tool for those stuck in a creative slump. Canva makes branding your business fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I can say in terms of dislikes. The interface can be a bit buggy at times, with it being difficult to select the object/layer you'd like, but nothing that a quick refresh won't take care of. All the designs save automatically so accidentally closing a tab is never a detrimental loss to your progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a growing advertising department, the need for graphics on the fly and interchangeable options across social channels has been the biggest problem we've been able to solve with Canva. In a bind for an Instagram post and no graphic designer available to help? You can create a like-worthy graphic in minutes by simply copy and pasting your favorite quote onto a free stock photo. Designing in Canva has given me an opportunity to realize a palette and creative direction among our brands that is simple to follow and so so easy to execute with this app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hiring or outsourcing graphic designers can be a huge financial commitment to make. If you've already got a resource who is creative minded and just needs the platform to release that creativity, Canva is perfect! Utilizing the paid option (Canva For Work) you can even add multiple users, and create a team where everyone's designs and inspiration can come together for the brand.

The BEST option for professional-quality designs without an art degree

  • September 08, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use. I mean the easiest. I use it for everything from resizing photos (faster to open than Photoshop!) to creating quick designs for use on social media and in emails. I use it for personal and professional use and I recommend it to everyone I know. Plus - it's FREE! Even if you use it for work, more likely than not you won't need the features that are in the paid version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Occasionally the search function is a little finicky but I can get over that for all of the amazing benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is great for me as I'm a one-person marketing department. I know very basic Photoshop, but nothing else from Adobe CS. We don't have a graphic designer on staff, so this is a really great way for me to create beautiful designs without additional software of skills. The best part is that even a beginner can create really beautiful stuff thanks to the great templates.

Awesome free program to use professionally and personally

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an amazing product for those who don’t have access to professional design programs or graphic design experience. Canva allows anyone with an eye for design to create beautiful pieces. I’ve easily created social media images, email headers, signage, email headers, etc. Canva has a selection of free templates, including a variety of resume templates. I utilized one and received feedback that it was the best looking resume they’ve ever seen. Thanks Canva! :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to replicate files and save them separately. Currently the file saves all versions as one file so it's tough to save them separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you have limited creative resources it's a great program that allows multiple people to create visual elements.

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use! I love how Canva allows me to keep my frequently used photos and images on hand and drag and drop them into new pictures.
I easily take a FB size image and resize it for twitter, Instagram etc
What do you dislike about the product?
The search and folder system is ok, but I'd love to be able to file things a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has been instrumental for me in my social media campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it free - I bet you'll love it!

Marketing director with lean team and lots of content needs

  • August 08, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's free to use and easy to learn -- especially as someone with little design experience outside evaluation and strategy. We need to be able to put whitepapers, ebooks, email banners and other inbound materials into simple designs quickly and cheaply, and after having a pro give us a color palette and reusable brand assets, we can easily do a lot in house without a steep investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can run slow and sometimes a large document can get a little glichy. I've never lost anything, but I've had to open it on other browsers to figure out what saved and what didn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
See above -- lean team, lean budgets, low experience. It makes content creation and management for any company doing in bound marketing accessible to anyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it's useful for collateral and content, but don't skimp on hiring a designer for brand standards, advertising, website work, etc. It can make you more nimble in a lot of ways, but it's an amateur's tool -- for someone who knows enough to be dangerous.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use.. easy enough when you're sleep deprived and the clock is ticking.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't resize/edit something I created some time ago
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GIves me a way to add photos to my newsletters that won't blow up the email system.
