What do you like best about the product?
What I like is canva has a lot of templates that u can edit so that you don't have to start your design from scratch. It also gives a 30 days free trial.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to have a stable internet connection
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is helping me to get high quality designs for my store
All-in-one design hub perfect for non-creatives
What do you like best about the product?
As a social media manager I use Canva very often if not daily. The reason that I use it in comparison to other design tools out there is because Canva is very user-friendly. On top of that, if you're not as creative as you want to be you can start from the existing templates they have, which I find to be very useful compared to other tools out there. Implementing it to my workflow and process is easy. I can add users and review can also be done on the platform.
If I want to crosspost or integrate it to my social channels its also very easy to set up. If I have any questions, their customer support is there and very easy to contact and they also have tutorial videos or help center articles to help users like me fix the issue I encounter. These also provide more information on how to maximize my access. They also have a free version that you can use if you just need the basic stuff, and a pro version which I think is very budget friendly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Canva's user-friendliness often comes at the cost of advanced features and customization. The primary dislikes generally fall into three areas: Creative & Control Limitations, Professional Output Concerns, and Free Plan Restrictions.
1. Creative and Control Limitations
Generic Look (The "Canva Aesthetic"): Because of the vast template library, designs can often look similar to others. If you rely too heavily on templates without significant customization, your brand risks looking generic or less unique.
Limited Customization for Professionals: For experienced designers, the platform can feel restrictive. It lacks the intricate controls for:
Advanced Typography: You cannot perform detailed type adjustments like kerning, tracking, or complex character spacing.
Vector and Logo Design: It's not a true vector graphics editor. Creating a truly unique, custom logo or complex illustrations from scratch is challenging, if not impossible, within the platform.
Difficulty Creating Unique Elements: You are largely limited to manipulating the elements available in Canva's library. Creating completely new, custom graphics or complex photo manipulations is better suited for tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
2. Professional Output and Technical Concerns
Color Profile Issues (CMYK for Print): Canva primarily operates in the RGB color space (ideal for screens). When creating assets for professional printing, the industry standard is CMYK. While Canva Pro allows for CMYK export, the color conversion can sometimes be inaccurate, leading to unexpected color shifts in the final printed product.
Limited Export Options: Although Pro subscriptions offer more flexibility, the free version restricts important export options like:
Downloading images with Transparent Backgrounds (requires Pro).
Exporting in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format.
Internet Dependency: As a web-based tool, Canva requires a constant, stable internet connection. If your connection is slow or drops, your workflow will be interrupted, as you cannot work on designs offline.
3. Restrictions on the Free Plan
While the free plan is generous, it severely limits access to features that are crucial for consistent business use:
Limited Brand Kit: The free plan severely limits your ability to save and organize your brand's assets (colors, logos, and fonts).
Premium Asset Watermarks: Many of the best stock photos, videos, and graphic elements are locked behind the Pro subscription, appearing with a watermark until you upgrade or pay for them individually.
Storage Limits: The free account offers limited cloud storage (5GB), which can be quickly used up, especially when working with high-resolution images or videos.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva's primary role is to democratize and simplify graphic design, solving the major problems of complexity, high cost, and the steep learning curve associated with traditional design software. By offering an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface and thousands of professionally created templates, it removes the skill barrier that previously excluded non-designers—such as small business owners, students, marketers, and content creators—from producing high-quality visuals. Furthermore, its freemium, web-based model makes professional-grade design accessible and affordable, eliminating the need for expensive software licenses and powerful hardware. In essence, Canva transformed a specialized process into an everyday task, making visual communication attainable for everyone.
This solution benefits you directly by significantly boosting your efficiency and productivity while saving time and money. Instead of hiring a designer or spending hours learning a complicated program, you can use Canva's templates and easy-to-use tools to rapidly create on-brand content for any purpose—from social media graphics to presentations and print materials. For users managing a brand, features like the Brand Kit (in the Pro version) ensure visual consistency across all your platforms. Ultimately, Canva empowers you to be an effective visual communicator, allowing you to focus your resources and time on your core activities rather than getting stuck on the technical difficulties of design.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva has team features, they aren’t as smooth as professional design collaboration tools (like Figma).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Hiring professional designers or subscribing to heavy-duty design software can be expensive.
Solution Canva provides: A free plan with a lot of functionality and a Pro plan that’s much cheaper than Adobe’s Creative Cloud.
Benefit: Small businesses, startups, and individuals can still produce professional-quality materials without breaking the bank.
Problem: Keeping a consistent brand look across multiple channels is hard.
Solution Canva provides: Brand kits (with fonts, logos, colors) and reusable templates.
Benefit: Ensures that even non-designers on your team create on-brand, professional visuals every time.

An essential tool for modern marketing teams.
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to use. Anyone on my team can create something that looks professional, even if they're not a designer. The templates have truly changed the way we work. Whenever we need an Instagram story, there's a template ready to go. If we need a quick presentation deck, there's a template for that too. This has saved us so much time. The brand kit feature is fantastic as well—we just upload our logos and colors once, and now everything we make stays consistent. Collaboration is also seamless; I can simply leave comments directly on a design instead of having to explain changes through email.
What do you dislike about the product?
the free version is pretty good but you hit a wall fast. you really need the pro version to get the best stuff, like resizing designs for different platforms or using the good stock photos. sometimes, if you're not careful, your designs can end up looking a little generic, like everyone else's who uses canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves the speed problem. we used to have to wait for our one graphic designer for every little thing. now, for social media posts, simple ads, or internal presentations, my team can just do it themselves and get it done in minutes, not days. it has made us so much more agile. it also saves us a ton of budget because we dont need to outsource small design tasks anymore. it's basically empowered everyone on the team to be a little bit of a creator, which is awesome.
