It's a real game-changer, especially if you're not a professional designer but still need to create some good-looking visuals. Honestly, if I had to pick what I like best, it's a toss-up between how incredibly easy it is to use and the sheer amount of ready-made content they offer.

Canva is essentially solving the problem of design accessibility and complexity. Before Canva, if you wanted to create something visually appealing – whether it was a social media graphic, a resume, or a poster – you typically had two options:

Canva is very user friendly and easy to understand. It is up to date with the latest forms of AI and advanced tools.

Canva does not have a feature such as paint.

Not being able to use photoshop or wanting to learn, content creation with limited bandwidth, in house graphic design

What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a free and paid plan that is affordable. Canva is easy to setup and there are plenty of design options from Facebook banners to Linked in templates. It has many professional and casual templates that can be customised. There is an AI feature for design incorporated into the sofware and this is versatile for generating design ideas.

What do you dislike about the product?
Besides the paywall to the best features, I think sometimes the AI gets too many users and you might have to wait to use it at peak hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of hiring an actual designer because of the ease of use and affordable subscription plans. I have used this software to make a book cover and it was easy to create and customise from the templates provided by Canva.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Canva is how easy it is to use. I never learned designing before but with Canva I was able to create good looking posts and banners without any help. The drag and drop tools are very smooth and the templates are perfect for every kind of design. I use it almost every day now for social media, presentations and even small videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets a bit slow when I work with too many pages or images in one design. Also a few good features are only in the paid version which makes it hard for someone who just started using it for free. I wish there were more advanced options for editing images directly without using other tools.

Before Canva I had to depend on others or search for free tools to make simple designs. Now I can do it all myself in one place. It helps me save time and gives me ready to use templates that look professional. I can create designs for my brand and social media even if I do not know anything about graphic design.

The brand kit feature is also incredibly helpful for maintaining consistency across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is amazing overall, there are a few small things I’d improve. Sometimes, the search function for templates or elements doesn’t bring up relevant results, so I have to scroll a lot to find what I need. Also, when working on larger or more complex designs, it can lag a bit—especially in the browser. Lastly, the free version is powerful, but some of the best features (like the background remover) are only in Pro, which might not be affordable for everyone. Also using it in mobile creates a little difficulty to find the options.

Canva solves the biggest challenge of not having a formal design background. It eliminates the need for complex software like Photoshop or Illustrator, which can be overwhelming for non-designers. With its ready-to-use templates, drag-and-drop interface, and accessible tools, I can produce professional-looking designs quickly and efficiently. It saves me time, reduces the need to outsource basic design tasks, and allows me to stay consistent with branding. It has truly empowered me to be more creative and self-sufficient in my day-to-day work.
