I also encountered difficulties during the initial setup due to the data volume required by Apptio, which was cumbersome. At that time, not having all the necessary data led to some allocations not working as expected.

This insight empowers us to decide which initiatives to expand or scale back, ultimately optimizing our IT strategy.

I use IBM Apptio for costing, forecasting, and budgeting. It solves chargebacks to our OUs and offers ease of use and effective reporting, which makes reports easily available to our executives, particularly income statements and TCO of applications.
