A solid alternative to Twilio

What do you like best about the product?
All the functionalities that our business needs are supported very well, SMS delivery, phone numbers in various countries, detailed logs of activities. Pricing is very competitive compared to competitors. For those countries that have more censorship to SMS delivery, Nexmo has a good program to improve deliverability. The SDK is robust and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is in Euro rather than my local USD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had been using Twilio to deliver SMS with one time passwords and verification codes. We are happy to add Nexmo to our system so we can smartly blend 2 providers for the best deliverability based on content, recipient carriers, and regions.

What do you like best about the product?
We use and like the SMS API, which could be implemented very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took us quite a long time to get rid of the account limitations, we had to wait 'till they've been removed completely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are delivering news and important informations to our organization members via SMS. Short messages are opened at a higher rate than newsletters or e-mails.

What do you like best about the product?
We really appreciate the ability to send international text messages and obtain international numbers. We have a pretty big client (who may be the name on the gift card you are giving out), that uses our service to send employee communication messages all around the world. The Nexmo tool makes it super easy to obtain text numbers and easily assign them to our account. We can be up and running in a new country in no time at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the cost is a bit high when compared to our other providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy way for our customers to send text messages. Some benefits are:
The ease of creating a new app and the ease of obtaining international text numbers.

What do you like best about the product?
From Nexmo API, mostly we use SMS for OTP.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in particular that I dislike.

Our customers can receive their one-time password in few seconds.

Easy to use and results!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use with Vonage Communications APIs. We have used the US Short Code Alerting APIs in order to provide a great up-to-date user experience for our company and customers. We were able to get things up and running very easily and quickly and anytime we needed support Vonage was there to help in a huge way!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! We have had very little issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving issues with communications live and direct to our end customers depending on us. We have realized just how powerful these messages getting into users hands can be as it relates to the delivery process for our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have our LegaSuite (AS400) app dump a file that a windows process reads and handles calling the Vonage APIs from there and writing back once sent. I would recommend using the Vonage support as much as needed great help found there!

What do you like best about the product?
The documentation contains all the necessary information, support is also very helpful and in case you are a developer, working with product will be easy and clear

The prices provided on different services are a bit expensive

With Vonage APIs now we are able to make automatic voice calls and send text messages

Nexmo - Get calls and sms without delay

What do you like best about the product?
It gives you ability to have communication system always ready and to deliver every information requested by customer quickly without delay. Its API-s are relatively easy to use. Also you have information for every SMS sent, You can filter them with number, country time ETC. same is for the voice calls. you can see how much did you spent on services that day, or any other day. Also you can create custom threshold so you will get notified when your balance is getting low, so you can reload it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We got hacked couple of times and our balance was used up. so for couple of days, until the problem was being investigate we were not putting money on our account, thus service was not available for our customers. So i think it need better protection
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using its services to send text messages and OTP codes to people in foreign countries . Also using nexmo we can see every sms text, send location and other details .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't have wast knowledge of similar services , so if you are looking for this kind of service i'd have only nexmo to recommend. It's renewed website has easy to navigate menu.

What do you like best about the product?
Nexmo has a really to use API's which helps you to connect you app with carrier , its switch also nexmo has a really friendly interface , where you can see all the information you need, for example : Where was the SMS sent , how much was the expenditure and etc

Can't say anything bad about the nexmo, It's really great

We have a lot of customers that we're trying to reach out , with our Promos , we use Nexmo to send all this infromation and get closer with our customer base

Good sms and voice delivery tool

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for sms and voice service delivery. Fast processing of requests and cloud based solution, which helps to deliver great user experience with high level of security in real time, worldwide service. Simple API and easy to integrate with any platform using in company. Rates are acceptable considering offers on market.
What do you dislike about the product?
dashboard is a bit had to use, need to navigate with a lot of click to find needed info. Fraud detection is the weak area for tool. Few times account was hacked and we stopped to deposit money for few days, which means had downtime for service. I would like more quick response from support when need, it takes few days to get full info any help needed. If you need to use tool in part of Asia expect some delays, we tried to drill down and find out what was the reason of slow performance on this area but could not find out anything, probably some integration issues, like no direct communication channel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using nexmo for product as OTP and voice calls. This means user account is more secured. Reliable service helps to deliver good user experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fraud detection is not strong side of tool. Constantly check usage of balance with the following criteria: which countries were top requester of your sms or voice service.

What do you like best about the product?
I don't like that it doesn't work. I cannot say I like something when it did not work??
What do you dislike about the product?
It did not work on my New York ServiceNow instance. This is a 3rd party application sold on our company store and I reached out to the support team because their documentation is incorrect and the reply was we don't support 3rd party applications.

None because it doesn't work
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No I most certainly would not recommend Nexmo because of the poor support or attempt at support. A blanket we don't support 3rd party applications when it is sold on our company website and I am trying to demo it to sell your features is not the way to support your reseller......
