A multi purpose project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
We started using smartsheet to keep track of the tasks, visibility is important when assigning the tasks and smartsheet make it easy to hold everyone accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issue we are facing is that of the organization of the sheets, it can only be organized by folder, no other view. So sometimes sharing items within a folder becomes difficult because you cannot restrict the people inside the folder from viewing or editing content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of managing tasks, keeping data organized, of preparing social media schedules. Our team tracks each project on smartsheet and so far it has worked well for us.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to use to work with different teams when testing builds and other upgrades to our HRIS portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit of getting used to, learning how to format and use functions. It isn't straightforward.

Utilizing for HR process flows. Tracking of testing and results.

We are better able to schedule and track enrollment statuses with the help of smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, intuitive, and a huge array of uses. The different types of sheets and dashboards give this endless possibilities

Would like a more complex set of charts to use on the Dashboard

The dashboard provides great a visual for data analytics/trends, and the sheets are a great replacement for Excel

What do you like best about the product?
What Iove about Smartsheets are the mutiple uses there are for one system. The main feature I use are the forms. They make it so easy to create the forms and for out employees to complete the forms. I use Smartsheets more than any other system. Let not forget the amazing customer support they give use when we need help.

I woudl like to see some formuals to be implemented in Smartsheets like excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We keep very organized by notifying our managers when applicants are cleared to hire. Also helping managers sending us information for onboarding.
Easy friendly platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can have multiple versions of your data. I love the availability to attach documents to each file loaded. I have not used another competitor so I wouldn't know.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much of this platform at all. I can only compare it to Excel. Smartsheet is far easier to use for me than Excel has been. I can complete my tasks faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been storing our worker's comp information as well as the COI. Housing and attaching documents to our claims has made it more efficient and easier to share.

I love the integration and the real time updates. We use it for project management at our company.

I wish the outlook integration could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We share task lists at our organization and my team works on the same smartsheet at the same time. I love that there is no lag when it comes to collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets for our group has done wonders, with other spreadsheets being out of date or lacking support we have been able to recreate a lof of project boards and sheets that our staff use on a daily basis. Being able to still have many users access at the same time is still by far the best feature to us at least from a GMP perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automation on this smartsheet could still be improved on and filtering options as well. Going in the right direction but automation seems to be a hit or miss if not setup properly and the coloring seems to priorize some options instead of others.

I have not run into any problems with my group yet, but the databases we have created have made a huge improvement over excel and I get to remind folks about tasks that need to be addressed in real-time.
Smartsheet is the best product for shared information
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a powerful tool for project management, resource monintoring, task tracking, information sharing, and automation. Smartsheet offers: customizable online forms to collect feedback, surveys, and requests; PDF document generation from sheet fields; every type of project managment template you can imagine; the ability to easily build WorkApps without any coding/programming skills to keep everyone working on projects in a centralized, easy to use hub for managing ongoing work; and so many tools and options to link, integrate, and automate information across sheets and up into fully customizable dashboards. Reports and sheets can be configured to show what's relevant to the specific user, enabling colleagues to get to the information they need quickly, without sifting through tons of information. Comments features on sheets allow people to tag in someone to a conversation, and attachments by row on a sheet work amazingly for screenshots, documents, or collateral to live right on the spreadsheet, rather than linking to somewhere else.

What do you dislike about the product?
Learning Smartsheet is relatively easy, but there is definitely a learning curve, especially for building out workflows and using some of the more sophisticated add-ons, such as Data Mesh. It's worth investing in learning resources to maximize the many layers and capabilities of the product. Smartsheet is also on the pricey side. That said, I've never seen a better or more effective product in this category, so its effectiveness is worth the price. If you have a large team, definitely look into WorkApps and WorkApps license bundles, as those licenses are much less expensive and work well for most daily users that aren't creating new projects and sheets in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Smartsheet for more functions in our department than ever. We use it every day to share information out to the team about incoming revenue and receive updates and feedback on those transactions. We have built a WorkApp to help intake, manage, delegate, and report on requests to the Data Team. We have a dashboard with forms to submit pledges and other upcoming gift information. We also use it for report disbursement, dashboards, project management and documentation, pledge reminder generation, individual task management, and centralized information sharing in numerous ways. Resource management and automation tools keep us efficient and effective. The ability to link relevant information across different areas reduces redundancy in reporting. And recent enhancements to UI/UX make it easier to use and navigate than ever.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you take the time to learn the product. It's more than just a shareable spreadsheet and using its reports and workflows will really help you level-up.
