Best for keeping track of information from many people

Organization, ability to format, sharing
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot track the changes made by others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows multiple people to work on a sheet at the same time so that data is always the most up-to-date. It also allows you to set up the sheet in a more intuitive way.
Everything in one place
What do you like best about the product?
That all of my colleagues can view all of the information and updates in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations when doing a report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we've had before is that we would have to create excel spreadsheets and send via email but with smartsheet there's no need to do this anymore. More convinient
Smart Sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smart Sheet is good software that helps document and automate spread sheets. Our company uses it for many things, to Amex expense to checking out cars. I recommend this to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike. The software is really well built. There are some limitations to some automations but that you kind of have to work around but its mostly niche things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep inventory and keep track of expenses.

Not sure, still getting used to all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing time spent on tracking data and notifying people. Smart sheets does this for me thus freeing up my time.
Smartsheets has been a life saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to obtain information from large groups of people in one area. It is user friendly! I use Smartsheets daily to complete administrative tasks including budget tracking, sign-ups and leave tracking for trainees. I use it to store data and compare it over time. It has helped ease my job!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not run into anything I dislike about smartsheets... so far it has been a great tool for my uses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am constantly having to pull info and track things for multiple trainees and faculty in my institution. Smartsheets is solving my organizational issues and being able to keep info in one spot! It also helps for sign-ups and being able to track different data over a period of time. I track budgets, leave requests and so much more!
Project managment in a collaborative environment
What do you like best about the product?
The SaaS model is quite interesting for the application which simplifies the deployment and also the administration.
On the other hand, the application is very easy of user and understand, so you can use it properly from the beginning.
Moreover it has a very good point regarding how the information flows from the project sheet to each report or dashboard, which makes very easy to keep posted about the updates or have an overview of the portfolio.
The mobapp is quite helpful in order to manage notifications and the "one-click actions" (likes approvals, update requests,etc.)
One of the most important benefits of the tool is the ability of integrating external users without licences, so without cost for collaboration on specifics files and projects.

It has some important gaps regarding PM functionalities and some issues in order to link contents from different sheets, create reports to consolidate information and so.
Recently the time of response for the support team has been increasing, which difficult to find a quick solution to any issue or doubt.
It would be great if Smartsheet provides the user a better way to print project plans, Gannts or tasklist in order to integrate the resources in printed documents.

The admin console was migrate to a different feature years ago, but it has stills some settings that works only on the old admin console and makes the adminstration work more difficult because you have to jump from one site ot the other.

They are increasing the usage of automation which allow the users to earn time in the project sheets handling and also improve the task control with proper row actions.
Smartsheet has some problems with the documents and workspace navigation, which recently have been completely modified.
In my opinion, the new experience is slightly better, but there are still some problems, mainly the lack of hierarchy or organization of any kind when you are working with lots of workspace from your own company or externals too.

Smartsheet - very nice tool for scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I like clean layout of Smartsheet. All look organised and easy to read. I really like Gantt view on Smartsheet and critical path option.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest - that is hard for me to find anything to dislike with Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like other scheduling tools, Smartsheet can present critical path which is crucial for project. I like also that I can create workspace to share several schedules.

Start if you are looking for simple and easy scheduling tool - start using Smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track the changes to the sheet easily and monitor progress with submitting files/completing tasks. You can schedule hourly email updates so you can see changes quickly and react accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to export all the files from a sheet, everything is placed in one large folder and jumbled, rather than items staying organized in separate folders similar to how they were in the sheet.

It makes it easy to collaborate with outside companies and share large amounts of data quickly. Since everyone has access to the sheet it keeps all the teams accountable.

Ease of use and also gives a good track of activities. As a team, it gives a view of each milestone and checks when it is completed. This is updated to each team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't update at the same time of the operation for all team members. it is required to close the file then it reflects all the team members. Secondly, it should have a backup file version to see the update while comparing at the end of the project.

It solves the problem of having one document which can be used for a project and doesnt requires to be saved in a folder. We are productive and it does increase our business performance.
