Smartsheet is an extremely effective tool for tracking various ongoing projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to assign people to specific tasks and then generate automated emails to ensure progress for each project is tracked accurately. Creating a GANTT chart from the Excel data input creates a clear and manipulatable picture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting Smartsheet to Excel files to better generate detailed graphs and charts has proven difficult through live data connection. Having more options to create and manipulate data to create graphs would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps to manage and juggle the multitude of projects we take on simultaneously as a manufacturer in the construction industry. Smartsheet has helped tremendously in managing timelines effectively by each sector of business.

What do you dislike about the product?
It was somewhat complicated to put in projects to get started...Sort of like when you get a detailed map to get somewhere but getting out of the complex parking lot and then you can't determine what the very first step to start whatshould have been an easy journey.
I do not think it was the software, however I needed a little more help to get started and do it well enough myself so I could demo and help the rest of the team with the project and journey plan.

Just can't do the software well enough to inspire confidence that it will work system-wide

Smartsheet gives the resources you need to make your dreams came true
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to learn and to set up. It has ways to make the configuration very personalized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the dashboards to have more charts options and filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved the visibility problem, allowed better use and analysis of databases and made home office the official model of the company.
Smartsheet is a robust solution for specific project management applications
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is relatively easy to use if the user is familiar with Excel. The ability to toggle between grid and card views is helpful. Access via the Smartsheet mobile app is an essential feature I use regularly. I suspect that I haven't had the opportunity to explore all of Smartsheet's functionality and appreciate that there are plenty of tutorials available for me to view when the time comes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface needs improvement to make Smartsheet use more intuitive. Functionality is a little clunky (e.g., providing others access to certain information and/or functionality is unclear). The ability to customize colors and fonts is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet primarily as a priority-setting and task-tracking tool. Smartsheet also provides a way for me to track RSVPs and guest preferences for small-medium-sized events (30-70 attendees).
Life changing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about smartsheet! I love how easy it is to build the structure we want, and based on a single page, we can do everything, including forms, apply metrics, and develop dashboards and reports that have added value! All the extra tools, such as data shuttle, control center, calendar view, and JIRA connect, are life-changing tools that make Smartsheet my number one tool wherever I go.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is still missing some flexibility, even based on formulas such as conditional drop-down, mandatory columns (not in forms), options on filtering in the life dashboard, and so many other things that could make our life easier. Currently, I have to build 15 dashboards, while if I add the feature of adding a dropdown field in the dashboard, I could make only one dashboard that would change according to what I wanted to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I first joined my company and asked, "give me a list of all the projects we currently manage," the team could not. For different reasons, but the main one was - all the projects were being managed under other systems - JIRA, Teams and excel... - when I added Smartsheet into the equation, with the JIRA connect functionality, it changed the game completely. Now Smarstheet is our single source of truth, and not only are we able to provide a quick list of everything that we are managing, as we know perfectly where and how things are going,

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Smartsheet is the product's adaptability and capacity to adjust to my necessities. The adaptability of the stage permits me to make customized dashboards and reports, which has assisted me with dealing with my activities. The incorporation with other programming is also consistent, which makes my work process more effective. Generally, Smartsheet has exceeded my assumptions and has become a significant work resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Smartsheet has many benefits, there are some areas where it needs to be improved. One thing that I find problematic is the need for more automation options for some tasks, which can be time-consuming. Another challenge I have faced with Smartsheet is collaborating with colleagues who have yet to become familiar with the platform. While the software is intuitive when you know how to use it, the learning curve can be steep for some users.

One way that Smartsheet has affected my work is by helping me remain organized and focused. The product's adaptability allows me to make customized dashboards and reports to my needs, making the project board more suitable. Constant cooperation choices have also been helpful, allowing me to work more proficiently with business members. Ultimately, automation choices have helped me limit mistakes and decrease my time on manual tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I believe Smartsheet's greatest asset is its ease of use. Its software-free setup makes it an ideal choice for organisations of all sizes, allowing users to track projects and store files quickly and with minimal effort. In addition, the intuitive data collection system allows teams from all over the world to collaborate on their work, and anyone can customise or create reports in a similar way to Excel, but without the need for extensive coding skills. Ultimately, the affordability of this solution and its ability to facilitate the sharing of information between colleagues gave us confidence when deciding which programme to invest our resources in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Smartsheet a little overwhelming due to the number of sheet and plan options. I couldn't make sense of how they all related, so for now I'm using several separate project plans instead. Once I understand more about dashboards and links between different documents, I will have the confidence to put processes into practice.

Smartsheet makes it easier to organise, analyse and respond to data quickly. Its filtering and document generation features save me time by making it easy to generate only the reports that contain relevant information, rather than having to manually search through multiple sheets.
The most powerful tool I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Smartsheet is a cloud-based tool that makes it easy to manage routine project tasks. Its versatile and scalable features, such as task management applications, Gantt chart viewing options to visualise project progress over time, and the ability to export Excel data into Smartsheet, streamline workflow processes in organisations of all sizes. In addition, its intuitive interface allows users to get up and running quickly with pre-built themes, further simplifying use of the platform while reducing wasted time creating visuals from scratch or manually assigning tasks without proper tracking. All of these aspects make it an ideal solution for our organisation's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not overly enthusiastic about Smartsheet because it doesn't seem to allow for a more dynamic approach to updating formats. As such, I would like to be able to apply different conditioning techniques that can provide greater visibility and accuracy in terms of understanding process milestones etc., as opposed to simply relying on adding or subtracting O days from plans. In addition, being alerted to upcoming tasks should also be within quicker reach - hopefully there is an improved solution that this software can provide here.

With Smartsheet, I've been able to streamline our project collaboration workflow, quickly share information between team members, and automate tedious tasks. These benefits all add up to time and cost savings for me.
A valuable tool for a variety of applications from a higher education professional
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of the product. We use it for intake forms. Informational dashboards. Help Request Forms. Anything requiring any sort of data collections. It is great for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming at first to figure out how to utilize it's features. When I first started using it, I went in blind without much knowledge of the product or what I was doing, and ended up messing up some existing forms/sheets we had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a lot of our task management, creating a list of projects that need completed and informing everyone of the status/progress. We also use it for Help Requests to create tickets for our clients that need help. We also use it as a dashboard for a hub of all of our information for employees
Smartsheet for Work
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a live program. I love that you can edit it at the same time someone else is in there. It also shows you who changed something if you need to know why or have something was changed. You can build reports from multiple sheets too. This is great for so many things!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have too much I don't like about the program. It is easy to use and they have videos/answers if you have any questions. I wouldn't mind more of a calendar feature so you can add multiple events to one calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only used an Excel document for tracking all of our company jobs. Only one person can be in this program at a time and we had things getting deleted that we didn't know who changed. Smartsheet does everything we could want it to do for solving those problems.
