Powerful Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Smartsheet updates across all of my devices and I can get notifications when a sheet is updated or a new task is assigned. It's also much easier to collaborate since multiple people can be working on the same sheet in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change history seemed like a great feature but it is a bit hard to use in practice. Each cell has a change history and the changes for an entire sheet can be viewed, but it would be helpful to be able to see what the actual sheet looked like at a date in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it easy for new users to learn so that everyone can use the same tools. With other products, more training is required to be beneficial which makes it hard to get commitment from large groups.
The most user friendly programming software for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet to be much more user friendly in comparison to previous softwares I have used, such as CS Project. The ability to copy and paste data from excel seamlessly is a massive bonus and with the click of the button (Gantt) you can have a readable program produced for you thats very easy to update and rejig without causing any major changes to the surrounding data.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i have no dislikes with Smartsheet. Having used other programming software that are not so user friendly, i found Smartsheet very easy to self teach and have yet to come across something i find it cannot do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing me to display multiple projects in a gantt chart format which gives me a timeline for delivery. With a deadline date in mind, it allows me to accurately identify the latest possible construction date. Therefore, i can programme my design and consultation periods around this.

Limited integration options: While Smartsheet does integrate with many popular apps like Salesforce, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, it may not integrate with all the tools you currently use. This could make it difficult to fully integrate Smartsheet into your existing workflows and duplicating effort by adding updates to manually to multiple places

Great program, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how we can upload documents, photos and everyone on our team has access to them no matter which work site they are on. It is also very easy to create graphs and charts to show how we are tracking month to month
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to login on certain web browsers and it can take several attempts sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am unaware of any problems that are being solved at this point in time.
A super powerful tool once you get the basics down
What do you like best about the product?
I've been really impressed with how powerful Smartsheet is. Especially when your trying to deploy a process across many users, it makes standardizing things super easy. I also liked how you can have a sheet that is the source of truth for information but then pull that data in on other sheets where it's relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is pretty steep at first. I think it depends on how many templated sheets your organization puts together as that helps give you a starting place. It has also taken some getting used to being that there aren't tabs. It makes it a little more difficult having to link to every sheet you might want to navigate to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves having to share out sheets for every functional area that teams are using a particular tool. It allows you to set up as an administrator and have everyone work off their own versions. This saves a lot of time in getting something out at scale.
Great capabilities for integrations and collaborative work management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet integrates seamlessly with a lot of other tools. Its API documentation is excellent and very helpful for developers. Its collaborative work management solutions are compelling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Smartsheet platform can be challenging for new users to learn, and its user interface may not be user-friendly enough to support the learning process. It would be beneficial if Smartsheet improves its interface to enhance users' experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrated Smartsheet to our website through API, and further integrated it to slack to receive notifications for form submissions and approve/reject requests directly from within Slack. By developing this automation and workflows using Smartsheet, we were able to save several hours per day of human effort and improved business process.
Easy out-of-the-box solution with many many features
What do you like best about the product?
I find it sleek and easy to use, especially with little or no training from the start. It's similar enough to Excel or Google Sheets so it makes sense to others as well. I think the trainings & webinars done by our company's Smartsheet CSM are very valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sharing of sheets aspect to be a little confusing. Especially if I'm trying to find a sheet from my company that should be public. I'd like it to be easier to search and discover valuable public sheets in my org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use Smartsheet as a way to track my projects from a high level and provide visibility to cross-functional teams. Similar to how I used to use Trello, Smarthseet organizes my work into tiles that I can progress through stages. It also has an easy way to add notes and add collaborators if needed.
Reviewing Smartsheet Account
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Smartsheet is that multiple people are able to work on a document at one time. Unlike Excel or other programs where you can only have one person working in it at once, Smartsheet allows for better team collaboration and an enhanced user experience
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the initial most difficult thing to get used to when using Smartsheet is the differences between it and other programs like Excel. I wish that there were more readily available training programs, or a more basic support team that was able to assist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue that we were trying to solve when looking into switching over to Smartsheet was finding a way that our project teams could all have access to and edit documents in live time together.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the how easy it is to lock down rows that I want my team to have viewing access. Now I don't have to worry about someone else accidentally changing a value or adjusting something without my knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive in many ways; however, it is a struggle formatting it the way I would format an Excel or a Google Sheet file. For example, it took me about 6 months to figure out how to hide/nestle columns so I didn't have to look at everything at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of sharing sensitive hiring/salary materials across a select team without having to worry about security breeches. It also allows us to track all changes to the excel sheet so I know when there is new info to update in our hiring program manager.
Review of Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up and use automation workflows and online forms. Easy to configure and use the Salesforce connector. I also use and like the Data Shuttle set up and use it for importing or exporting data to other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is not very advanced as you are not able to configure any calculations other than what comes with it. It also becomes quite a bit of work it you make changes in the system and want to update existing sheets. There is no ability to automatically update the automations and conditional formatting on existing sheets. The biggest issue is updating sheet references for existing sheets. All of those should be added into the Global Updates process.

Automation of complex project sheets when projects are provisioned. Saves us time.
