What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use so new members of staff can pick it up very quickly. I also like the feelings and icons to depict sentiment. Things changing colour when over due is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Endlessly scrolling horizontally. Data entry at least should be vertical. Moreover the conditional formatting not updating automatically if a heading is changed is frustrating.
It is also very annoying that all day long I here my colleagues saying "is anyone is smartsheet" or "I am using line 323". Is this really necessary?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is logged in one place and can be viewed by all instantly and summary reports can draw off larger data sheets
Smartsheet is a great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to use. I use it to manage my capital project budgets and schedules. I also work with consultants that use it to help us track project plan reviews. My favorite feature is the ability to add files and comments to individual rows. I also like the ability to automatically create row drop-downs that help me consolidate reports and spreadsheet views.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more functionality regarding emailing to sheets. I have the outlook add-in, but I havent found it very useful because it is slow to load and implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are two main features I love about Smartsheet, the first is the ability to add files and comments to specific rows. The second is the ability to automatically create row drop downs. Both of these features make Smartsheet a better tool than Microsoft Excel for managing project budgets and schedules.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can list each task of a project, assign it to a certain individual, attach documents, set reminders, and chat among other things to keep a project on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inviting collaborators is an often difficult process. We have had to do it in some cases a couple of times for a collaborator to actually be able to get into the system. In addition, not all information that is being put by one collaborator is seen by all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to clearly state each task and assign the responsibility for that task to someone. It lets me track the progress toward the completion of the project and allows us to make adjustments during the process as needed to ensure project success.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent tool that is practically endlessly customizable. It is great for summarizing information from many different data sources in real-time, running calculations on that information and ultimately allows you to display it in many different ways on a dashboard. Smartsheet also supports the creation of tools for custom processes that other project management tools do not. Smartsheet has made much progress toward making its interface easier to use once a Smartsheet expert has set it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet, while it is one of the most powerful project management tools that are available to companies today is also one of the most expensive options. Their user interface requires significant setup efforts that average employees of companies would not easily be able to figure out. Once they have been configured, however, they can look amazing if you find the right expert to implement it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves many problems that other project management software are not able to solve. One of the great things about Smartsheet is that it can be used for any industry and almost any situation. You can replicate pretty much any functionality you see in other project management software using Smartsheet, while retaining the ability to use custom formulas and filters on information coming from countless destinations. As a consultant, I use connectors to Jira, Salesforce and Dynamics daily to keep information updates across platforms and have also set up integrations with other platforms such as QuickBooks and Monday.com using Zapier and Smartsheet's open API's.

What do you like best about the product?
The benefits of Smarsheet are endless! I enjoy all of the features that allow you to collaborate with your colleagues to get your information in one location and have everyone able to make changes when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have personally experienced with Smartsheet is the learning curve. It is not a huge learning curve, but it is different from other applications that do similar things. I have adjusted to Smarsheet and would not want to go any other route with my colleagues!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are running a helpdesk-style format through Smartsheets. This gives us the great benefit of inputting all of the data we get through emails regarding problematic scenarios, creating custom fields, and providing updates through one "dashboard."
Smartsheets has helped me raise efficiency within my company and automate processes with ease.
What do you like best about the product?
The automation potential for Smartsheets is what I value the most. Notifying people of changes or alerts has cut down on unnecessary meetings. While this effect may be possible with excel or another spreadsheet program, Smartsheets makes it extremely easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations that I have run into with Smartsheets. One such limitation is the inability to combine cells together. Manipulating cells, in general, is a bit lacking compared to Excell, and adding features that allow for more customization would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows users to have access to live updated sheets instead of everyone trying to edit the same document. It has cut down the need for countless version saves of schedules, contact lists, and other spreadsheets that see daily use by many users. The forms function has allowed my company to enter and organize requests for updates or changes to many of these sheets.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a great tool but not very intuitive and is somewhat complex.
By having countless options to do the same thing but in a different way, we end up getting complicated with simple tasks, I believe that it should have more support to know all the functionalists and videos on Youtube teaching in all languages.

Great on-line tool tracking, analyzing and sharing information
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is straightforward to get started with. There are a lot of valuable features to help you learn how to use the software's functionality, including online presentations, the ability to take classes, user experience and many templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many different ways to analyze the entered information, but not all methods are easy or efficient. It takes a lot of time and reviewing what others have done to become familiar with efficiently performing analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for three primary purposes: 1. Tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators. 2. Management of new assignments based on staff workload. 3. Capturing and analyzing work audits. We are seeing improved efficiencies in all three areas and expect the efficiencies to increase with use and experience.
Automation and creating reports from project data is HUGE timesaver.

Consolidating data from multiple sheets into dedicated dashboards or reports has dramatically improved work efficiency. I like the time-saving features, as Smartsheet helps me create various unique reports to track multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. What sets it apart from other software solutions is that it allows users to add many tasks/files/details at once effortlessly. Besides, the boards can be easily shared with unauthorized (e.g., partners) users without additional costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building portfolio estimations and metrics with complex formulas and implementing automatic calculations for dashboards can be time-consuming, which is a significant drawback of Smartsheet. Moreover, the inability to schedule automatic updates for reports and dashboards is another aspect that I find frustrating. Changes or "automation" cannot be reflected in reports until the required sheet is opened.

Smartsheet has been instrumental in managing workloads and completing multiple tasks simultaneously. My team can now keep track of various ongoing or upcoming tasks and goals, allowing directors and managers to always stay on top of team activities.

I dislike that Smartsheet is not user friendly and does not work smoothly with other desktop programs. It can also be difficult to view websites that aren't in a full-screen tab. The search function also pulls information from linked spreadsheets, regardless of what you're currently viewing, which adds an extra layer of complexity when trying to find specific information or documents quickly.

With Smartsheet, I now have a better handle on project progress and individual tasks. It allows me to use my time more effectively by providing greater visibility into productivity and deadlines.
