Smartsheet is a great way to keep the team organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way to keep everyone organized and on the same page without having to send multiple emails or trying to remember what was done or what was received daily when you can just make a checklist that everyone can access.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have not had any issues with smartsheet. It is easy to use and is a good tool for daily use for our teams. So we have no complaints now and will continue to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the issue of not knowing if someone else already completed a group task, all that has to be done is check the sheet for updates so you know if a group task is completed or not.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the easy-to-use interface and customisable templates that Smartsheet provides. It allows me to quickly create organised documents without wasting time on repetitive tasks such as entering standard information or settings. As an administrator, you can also control who can view certain areas of a spreadsheet and prevent unauthorised access to sensitive information. Considering these features, I consider it an ideal planning tool for teams that want to collaborate effectively and protect their information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet had more advanced options when it comes to Excel. In particular, greater flexibility in combining horizontal and vertical column displays of text and spreadsheet functions would be a great addition for situations such as long-term weekly planning where frozen, labelled columns need to be moved around for easier navigation. Despite the benefits SS offers many users, the availability of these additional features could provide even greater control over one's projects or processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet saves me a considerable amount of time in managing incoming calls and enquiries. Its automated workflow allows me to quickly assign responsibilities among teammates, while reducing the risk of errors due to manual data entry or inconsistencies in information. It also allows me to better standardise my processes so that everyone is working consistently towards successful outcomes.
Good Tool for Inventory Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use, and plenty of information is available on the web when you want to learn new features.
I also really like the backup feature that allows you to keep older versions of your docs on the cloud for a month. This really helped us a number of times!

What do you dislike about the product?
No major complaints. However, it would be great if we could edit multiple sheets simultaneously without having to purchase an additional app (i.e., we have several identical columns in multiple sheets, yet each one needs to be updated separately).
Also, customer service can sometimes be slow and periodically conducted over the phone, which I found somewhat inconvenient.

Inventory management is first and foremost. Project management as well.

I like the options for pie charts and graphics and the similarity to excel. The schedules/timelines are easy to do and once you get the hang of it, it is easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the integration of excel spreadsheets was easier and more seamless. I also wish there was free training on how to use it. It kinda stinks you have to pay money to train on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a nice "one-stop shop" where my client and I are able to both input project information, check daily progress and create automated reminders. I also love the dashboard and that my client can check status, see photos, and budget updates all in one place.
A good product with lots of useful features
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a helpful tool for our team overall. It has some great features beyond a typical spreadsheet application. I like receiving notifications when changes are made to sections assigned to me, and it's great that you can add attachments and comments to each row.

Many of my colleagues find Smartsheet overwhelming, so it has been challenging to get everyone on board. I initially felt the same way, but I have learned enough about it to make it work for my needs.

Useful Tool for Collaboration and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a very useful tool for organizing multiple projects across our team. Our organization has used it to track progress on action items relating to our strategic plan. Collaborators on the project receive automated monthly update requests for their projects, which keeps our progress up to date. Results can be viewed easily via graphic representation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is quite robust and it can take some time and effort to learn how to utilize the tools available. The user interface can be somewhat challenging to master.

It provides an automated way to track projects and capture relevant data in a way that it can be easily shared across our team and to external project collaborators.
Smartsheet streamlines processes to make life easier
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is helpful in getting information to multiple people who collaborate in a clear and concise way. One of the best things about Smartsheet is how it updates in real time, so you can view changes as they happen. You can also view cell history, and use that to see who made past edits to your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to using Smartsheet is that you have to get your colleagues/collaborators on board and trained on how it works. The learning curve is difficult for people who aren't particularly computer savvy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of putting all of our mass communication data in one place for multiple collaborators to see. This has streamlined our process for mass communications and made the whole process much easier.

Simple, effective and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly it is, and how changes can made be with easy. So many project plan tools make it difficult to make a simple change but Smartsheet is so pratical. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gantt chart isn't always clear. Feels like it should be on a sepearte tab sheet you click to get a full picture. I don't think i've had any other issues with anything else on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for to help manage webiste project builds in our our team. It will show the entire life cycle of the project so it helps us show the client where we are always.
I work for a shipbuilding company and use Smartsheet to keep records.

Easy to use. Very similar to Microsoft Excel.

Limited number of rows in the table. Permanent connection to the Internet.
