Smartsheet is a powerful tool to schedule between several projects as well as track financials
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet does a great job of allowing several projects to schedule resources and be able to de-conflict any overscheduled resources. It also is good to track qualifications for each individual and allows you to upload certificates directly to the sheet for tracking. Very useful for safety certifications and allows the PM to download and show the client their team's certifications easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can develop a detailed plan and schedule with the sheet. If the sheet is not created in a calendar date format, it can be difficult to see the flow of the plan and it does not shift the view to see a flow chart. Additionally, the resource conflict indication is great, but it would be better to list the rows that conflicted in each project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our greatest use of this product is for resource management and rough financial flow tracking. As our company grows, the resource management becomes more challenging and difficult.
The program makes cross functional work a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to communicate and see live updates on important business information. Previously we needed to upload a spreadsheet to a communal location but were never sure if it was the most accurate version. Smartsheet takes the guess work out of what's true and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a bit more information on specific tasks you're trying to accomplish, as well as a "getting started" tutorial with real-life examples. The system is great when taking existing recommended documents but it's not very immersive once you open it up.. A step-by-step instruction guide that moves you through the sheet to have a full understanding would really help with adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and transparency on the next steps in our business process as well as documenting all of our potential opportunities. Smartsheet has really been a time saver having all the documents in one repository.
Smart Sheet is a must have tool for the business professional.
What do you like best about the product?
Access can be granted to my client's implementation team. Both organizations can monitor and track the deliverables and tasks on the project. Documentation, regardless of size, can be seemlessly exchanged.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot bold individual words in the cells; I can only bold the entire cell's contents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for project management, including the project plan, Implementation Task list, and tracking all aspects of the implementation project. This effectively keeps the project on track. We also use a Smartsheet to provide project status to management. Smartsheet is a convenient way to pass documents securely between organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is excellent for our company as it's all in real time. I especially love the features for requesting updates, setting reminders and uploading documents to a row. It has helped us improve so many processes. The forms have been a game changer for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the formulas aren't as easy to use as they are in Excel, but they do have a Smartsheet University for you to learn all these skills. And once you get the hang of it, it can work great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets is solving the issue of everyone having real-time access to the same sheet. I love that you can highlight any changes made. It benefits me because I don't have to ensure I'm always working on the most up-to-date document. The form function has also solved many issues; previously, we would put any surveys into a word document, but having it in a Smartsheet, where we have to share the link, and all the responses go into a single smartsheet is amazing.
Free for basic use but not so intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
It's free - if you need basic project management then this is an ideal tool. Cloud based means you can collaborate with colleagues and there's no searching around on drives to find your project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as flexible as MS Project - doesn't handle concurrent tasks particularly well and you have to do a lot of wrangling with dates and build in slip to allow things to overlap, otherwise it tries to align all tasks to a single start date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project planning across multiple Healthcare trusts - collaboration is a must. This cloud based solution means we're not tied to a single domain and can aid in planning between departments.
Smartsheet One Stop solution for reports
What do you like best about the product?
The Smartsheet functionality is a great One Stop solution to maintain my business operations reports and helps my leadership view the process's health in real-time. I like the Automation workflows option in Smartsheet a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if the Smartsheet team could improve further on Report, Dashboard and increase the row limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage 04 business operations within my portfolio and a headcount of approx. One hundred fifty members access the Smartsheet as a user profile to update the reports, workflow, and other details. Due to row and column limitations, we need to create multiple sheets within the workspace every six months. Increasing the row count would help us.
Great for managing projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Smartsheets links worksheets together so when updating information, it updates other applicable worksheets so that you don't have to spend time updating all worksheets. It makes working efficient and it's user friendly!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a "check all" checkbox for yes/no columns or any other columns they uses a check arm to verify something that's been complete. We have a lot of rows we update at once and copy and pasting all the way down can be inefficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everyone aware of the status of projects and updating notes to help everyone understand the specifics. It also helps to keep track of what is needed for individual projects and helps dictate who is responsible for updating certain columns. This helps avoid someone marking something completed when they shouldn't. It eliminates confusion!
SmartSheet has made project management a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes project management a much easier task. The automation and update requests make it so much easier to keep up to date on tasks and ensure nothing is being missed!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only a few minor issues I have with SmartSheet, i wish that we could merge cells like you can in excel. Otherwise the only things i would change are minor UI tweaks.

I use smartsheet to track projects as well as helping to keep my team updated on tasks that are needed. We use the automation and update requests to make sure that updates are happening regularly and nothing is being left behind.
Great product for record-keeping, information-sharing, and business intelligence.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is profoundly useful with many layers of automations, user communication options, and tools to keep things running smoothly without a ton of user oversight.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a lot of complaints about smartsheet. My biggest issues would be the restrictions on the types of visuals supported on the dashboard options ; I'd like to see combo graphs.

Smartsheet is a great resource for business intelligence, reviewing options and sources for the efforts of a number of departments within our company, and great for review/sharing that info interdepartmentally.
Smartsheet is everything I didn't know I needed
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is the most comprehensive and intuitive item to have in your corporate toolbox. Not only does it keep you organized and on track, it will also enable you to be more organized than you ever thought possible. The tools help not only to keep yourself organized but the whole organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is nothing I dislike about Smartsheet other than maybe having more opportunities to learn everything it is capable of and training on how to use it better.

Smartsheet has made it possible to become more organized and assist in helping the business to collaborate on so many projects. It has aligned the business in many different areas.
