Powerful and user friendly tool!
What do you like best about the product?
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, I'm collaborating with a few teams to be able to create and deliver some awesome campaigns. Using Smartsheet has definitely helped me and the team to track and manage all of the user requests, to manage time
and the overall workload. I've been using Resource Management and Task Sheets and the simplicity of use is really something I like the best about the tool.
Also, I like the range of collaboration features such as real-time updates, comments, file sharing - it really helps me to work more effectively.
Filtering options, task tracking and customizable sheets are also some features that I can hardly imagine using a tool without - just great!

What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning of using Smartsheet - it took me some time to get used to it and I was kind of confused that not all features are available at one place and that I had to log in to Resource Management and Task Sheets separately, it would make more sense to me if there was one-shop-stop interface from which I could access all of the available features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping my team solve the project management, task management, workload management and collaboration problems. The biggest personal benefit as I see it is simplified collaboration with teams I'm working with and definitely time tracking and time management - I don't use any other tools since I started using Smartsheet for this matter.
Smartsheet for Team Management and Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
The automation which enables regular, strategic interactions with teammates and integration with a range of platforms is what I find sets it apart from more limited software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not (or at least, I do not yet know how!) have the data management capabilities of excel. However, this is not its primary role or use (for me) so not really a big issue.
The ability to populate calendar events in other platforms with event details would be great - but again, I am not sure now feasible this is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage or interact with many people and Smartsheet allows me to monitor outcomes and prompt work without me having to meet or contact each person about each issue.
Smartsheet keeps helps you keep track and organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is a one-stop-shop space to track ongoing information while using it as a repository for archiving data. It's an excellent collaborative tool with a spreadsheet-like interface offering advanced automation and collaborative features which help streamline processes and save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheets can be cumbersome at times, like a large excel spreadsheet, and I find it difficult to scroll horizontally to read the many fields to locate information. The search capabilities are sometimes sketchy and not super-accurate at locating what you need when you need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting data in an archiving manner so that accurate company records can be kept and located immediately if needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool for collaboration. It helps provide visually appealing data with the ability to store attachments for easy file navigation in projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features seem to be limited or are difficult to navigate and fully capitalize on without looking up tutorials, reading blogs or taking a Smarthsheet course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet internally to organize our weekly meetings. We link multiple sheets together onto a tracker to view all active projects at one time. Team members post comments on the milestones to drive conversation in meetings and let everyone know where we stand. We also use smartsheet on a project level to track the budget and overall progress.
Externally, we create dashboards to share with our customers showing project progress. The dashboard feature allows us to show just the data we want and is very easy to set up.

Some Utility...
What do you like best about the product?
Several functions are easier to use than Microsoft Excel, such as the ability to more easily create collapsible categories, tag people, and useful columns (e.g., duration).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I ask myself how Smartsheets is better than Microsoft Excel. Yes, Smarthseets is more easily used (on the face of it), but for an experienced Excel user, I find it more challenging to use because I can't use the same accelerators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects and their deadlines in a central location. I think some automations could provide more value, but I don't know how to use them currently and haven't bothered to learn because I'm uncertain how much value it would bring.
Robust, but not userfriendly
What do you like best about the product?
Smartshee has a lot of great capabilities. The functionality I most appreciate is being able to see different views (grid, gantt, calendar) and being able to notify people when a task is due.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not very userfriendly. I find the interface to be a bit clunky, which makes me often opt for simpler, less robust task management platforms. If Smartsheet were to be a bit sleeker and easier to use, I would recommend it far more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has a variety of programs and projects running at once. Smartsheet allows us to see everything upcoming and assign more specific tasks to our larger 'to dos.'
My own experience with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
It offers many templates and it´s mostly intutive, having so much features, can it cover mostly my daily work. Still learning day by day the powerfull features of this tool. I love aswell that the sheet can be connected to each other, which allows to different teams to work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard function is awesome, but sometimes a bit complicated to display data using reports in my opinion. But there are many courses of smartsheet which i want to attend in order to learn all the functions properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Displaying the whole project in different sites, once details process in a gant diagramm or a high overview in a dashboard. Depending of the stakeholder, it´s really usefull.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to capture information within the forms, and have that information deposited into a spreadsheet that can be shared amongst the larger group. For our organization, we do a lot of data / information capturing from our customers, and this allows for better collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool. I wish at times that they have better abilities in the form creation functionality, so allow more dynamic, flexible form creation to better suite some our needs.

We leverage Smartsheet for a lot of custom quoting and customized data capture workflows for the shipping and management of samples. Smartsheet provides a front-end system to capture requirements and information, and than have it live within a shared spreadsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's integrations with other software allow Smartsheet to serve as a one-stop-shop for everything our business needs. We currently integrate our Smartsheet project plans with Resource Management and use it for capacity planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent tool for many use cases; their base templates are elementary and don't have a great user feeling. Engaging with a third party consultant is one of the best choices that you can make if you are looking to drive user adoption and make sure that you get the most out of your Smartsheet investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We implement Smartsheet for clients of all shapes and sizes. From the SMB Level to Fortune 100 companies, Smartsheet provides immediate and lasting value. We have used Smartsheet for everything from PPM to custom tooling, resource capacity management, calendaring and templating.
Automation Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive and easy to navigate. It was able to take multiple databases from different programs and create a cohesive dashboard and portal for many shareholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few instances where formatting could be easier but nothing major. As an example, I wanted the formatting of a chart to remain consistent and when there's not a data value present the formatting would clear out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet was able to take all the scraps and bits of data on desktops, Excel and emails and put it in one source that's easy to navigate for end users. Rather than the end users combing through an Excel file, they're able to have a catered dashboard with the information they need to speak to.
