Great product for out production management
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet to help us to manage and schedule our production timeline. With Samrtsheet, every single job and every detail got tracked. The flag function helps us a lot to avoid any potential troubles. We also like the function of assigning each project to each person which is helpful for organizing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transferring from excel to smartsheet at first is painful, a lot of functions short cut is different. It took us a while to figure out the right way to use it. if it can pop out the short cut key when my mouse is floating on each button, it will be really great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us to manage the schedule and timeline of many projects every month. Let the whole team understand what is our step on each project. Help us avoid any potential problems.
Best Project Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a fantastic tool that aids in building accountability and adherence to due dates within your organization. The templates are phenomenal and can be used for just about any type of project imaginable. The features are very useful. For example each line in the project can be assigned to a colleague - they will be then notified of upcoming due dates. Additionally, documents can be attached to a line item or the overall sheet. The functionality of Smartsheet allows for all documents to live with the project plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't really any downsides to Smartsheet. It is a great tool and a huge improvement when compared to other project management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been instrumental in adherence to due dates and deliverables. Everyone has access to the sheet and can easily understand due dates and what tasks need to happen in order to complete the project.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the features in Smartsheet, which are similar to Microsoft Excel. However, you can access any where and anytime. Best of all, you can attach contracts, legal documents, and excel workbooks to your customer, including detailed comments. Also, you only need to pay for each user's subscription and you can add or delete any users that fit your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am the one that signup Smarsheet years ago. Since then, I have dedicated my staff to do the job, I wish that I do not have to pay for my user license, because I'm simply the one signup for Smartsheet but personally, I don't use it. I'm hoping Smartsheet can separate the User and the Admin function, so I don't have to pay for my "user license fee"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to keep track of all our customer's accounts and put detailed comments and instructions from them, so that our crew members can see the information and do the proper job.
Useful, but has it's shortcomings
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is similar to the style of excel with line items. I also really enjoy the forms feature so that you can easily collect data and it feeds directly into your sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it has that excel style format in the sheet, there aren't any of those useful features added to smart sheet, like the ability to move cells over more flexibly. Sometimes the platform seems a little too rigid compared to other platforms I've used in the past. For instance, something as simple as not automatically saving work as you go is not the best. Having to physically press the save button to make sure work is being captured is cumbersome.

It keeps the team organized and all project details in one place. The forms feature allows the team to capture specific data and have it organized easily without fuss.
Friendly and helpful software
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Smartsheet are all the reports and dashboard that you can use and personalize as you wish. I really loved that I can share the dashboard with external clients without needing a software license for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. In order to create a dashboard I have to complete too many sheets, Project Intake, Project Metadata, etc. Sometimes I forget some sheets and it doesn't specify where the error is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a collaborative tool that the team can see what activities they have and for me as a Project Manager helps me to reduce my effort writing reports to communicate the status of the project to the team or the sponsors.
Powerful tool for collaboration. Highly customizable
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration and proofing tools are generally quite good. I like that you can have ongoing conversations with stakeholders in the comments on a given proof.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't set up our Smartsheets instance, so I don't know how complicated it is to work with, but from my perspective, it seems like you might need some advanced knowledge/programming background to do some of the more complex things.
Notifications can be difficult to manage. Some members of my team forget or neglect to tag their team members who need to be informed, so even the owner of the proof may miss feedback that was meant for them to see.

Smartsheets tracks ongoing projects and helps us connect related projects. It provides transparency among stakeholders, as we can always see what communication is happening around a project.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to share a wide range of information through smartsheets! My company uses the platform to store info that we use when creating documents for our clients or for internal use.
I;ve noticed that I use the platform 3-4 times a week and have not yet encountered issues when using it!

What do you dislike about the product?
Because I use the program so often, there is nothing that I hate about smartsheets. I appreciate how your company has reached out to me and was more than willing to explain how the platform works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, we use smartsheets for rates across the media we use and media availability. When information is being updated within the market, it is easy to update any changes by using our smartsheet grid!
Amazing Tool for Project Managment
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability to pull out data from one main sheet to share reporting with multiple different departments. This allows us to provide the relevant data they need while maintaining only 1 document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better functionalities to do data collection and use of formulas to calculate averages. I would also like to be able to make some columns use business days while others use calendar days.

Smartsheet allows us to track our projects at a high-level overview and allow those who need to view it a more detailed view. Additionally, we are able to pull out reports to provide to teams to help keep them on track and follow up with those teams.
Easy way to automate processes for a manufacturing company
What do you like best about the product?
Automating our processes has allowed our organization to streamline parts acquisition requests and track progress without missing a step. Before implementing Smartsheets, reminders were sometimes overlooked or forgotten, leading to missed deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can sometimes feel very steep when first working with the product. The help library is informative. However, the examples sometimes are not the easiest to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of internal processes with tracking and update requests automatically calculated based on collaborator input. This has allowed our team to focus on other tasks rather than try to remember if we sent out a number of follow-up emails each week.
