A process owners best friend
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be collaborative with cross-functional teams without having to purchase multiple licenses and accounts. Also, the ability to send a grid to a novice and they can quickly catch on without much coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain advanced features are not available to view by non-licensed users, such as WorkApps. Secondly, if the limitation of cells per grid has caused many issues for our organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has solved the issue of corraling project information and management between cross-functional teams. Providing an update to date information that can be accessed by multiple users with or without Smartsheet access or licenses. For example, we are currently utilizing Smartsheet to align multiple markets across our organization in a patient contact and follow-up campaign and using reports and dashboards to report to executive leadership daily.
Critical Tool for Managing Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
It is Excel on steroids and allows us flexibility to manage large amounts of data, track patterns, and keep track of work flows in our business. I was crashing Excel with the amount of data I was trying to analyze.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could increase the amount of rows and maximum fields allowed - we have so much data that we end up having to delete or split data up in multiple sheets because we max out the current allowance. I think most users wouldn't have this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to track hundreds of accounts each month, where we have a very specific project workflow from start to finish. Smartsheet has allowed us to create a shared workflow that allows one person to start an account task, another to do the next step, and another to finalize at the end of the month. We are also able to track the outcomes from each of those accounts for the month.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is AIO, Easy-to-use no-code platform allowing business development, project management, D2D activities and multiple scenarios that are sometimes hard to achieve with other off-the-shelf platforms at a very affordable development cost and support/maintenance.

Smartsheet still has a way to go in aspect of core application functionalities and notification automation to allow customization and business oriented notifications,

Smartsheet allows integration with other various solutions such as : Office 365, Formstack, AWS, and more to create a whole set of workflows for D2D activities management, facilities management, Exec office workflows and collaboration, document generation and many more.

1. Steep learning curve: While Smartsheet offers a lot of powerful features and functionality, some users may find it challenging to learn how to use them
2. Limited design options: we find the design and layout options in Smartsheet to be somewhat limited or inflexible, which can make it difficult to create visually appealing or engaging projects.
3. Integration issues: Although Smartsheet offers a range of integrations with other software tools, but this requires addition significate investment .

Our organization leverages this system to gather data from the production floor, which we subsequently analyze to assess our overall performance and identify potential issues. By utilizing this approach, we are able to make data-driven decisions that help us improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall quality of our products.
Reduce wasted time and maximize productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of Smartsheet really appeals to me. Its mobile application allows for one-click notifications and actions, as well as instant access without the requirement for extra licenses or user accounts to collaborate on projects. Additionally, data from project sheets is easily imported into reports and dashboards, which makes it easy to track long-term changes in my portfolio - making management of all aspects a breeze! These features make it a pleasure to work with this software every time I open its platform; everything I need is at my fingertips, ready when I need it, allowing me to tackle any task efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet to be quite limited in its functionality - it's impossible to drag multiple sheets at once and the interface is not as friendly or user friendly as Excel. I believe that allowing users to save completed columns would help reduce human error when multiple people are working on the platform at the same time. Additionally, a more intuitive interface with keyboard shortcuts familiar from other programs such as Excel should improve the overall user experience.

Smartsheet helps me store data securely in the cloud. Its features allow us to collaborate and work more efficiently with tools that support document management, proofing capabilities and more.
Smartsheet: a Project and Change Manager's best friend.
What do you like best about the product?
My colleagues and I have relied on Smartsheet for the last 6 years, and it amazes us how it makes our lives easier! From detailed workplans to automatic Gantt charts, and even Kanban and dashboards -- Smartsheet has been our tool of choice whenever we manage projects.
A feature I've come to love is its potential for automation. I integrated Smartsheet into our collaboration application, and Smartsheet automatically sends notifications and upcoming deadlines to our project team. It's also great how collaborators choose to update project fields from the comforts of their inboxes, or in the actual project sheet.

What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a "learning curve". It isn't exactly the friendliest tool out there, and it takes some training and change management effort whenever we have to introduce the tool to new users.
Some formulas are configured differently than the more popular spreadsheet applications, so that requires effort to learn, too. However, considering the power and potential of Smartsheet, this is something that our Project Managers are more than willing to learn -- it just needs some time to get used to.

Smartsheet makes it easier for my team to create project plans, track workstream progress, and assess workload distribution. Templates for project tools are also readily available, so it gives us new ideas on how to tackle projects.
Versatile Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides a variety of customizable pages to organize, communicate and report data, and offers a straightforward interface for sharing and controlling access with multiple users. It is an excellent project management tool applicable to a wide variety of business purposes. Its lack of some sophisticated features included in some other project management tools is offset by its fast learning curve, flexibility, and ease of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Those experienced in working with MS Excel may find the more limited feature set of Smartsheet spreadsheets a hindrance, and using the Smartsheet interface for functions that are similar between those programs will take a little time to learn. However, many/most business applications for Smartsheet will not require the more sophisticated (and time-consuming to master) capabilities of Excel.

Managing information and projects that requires input and updates from multiple employees. Keeping all project participants updated in real time regarding changes to information and status of assigned tasks.

Lacking some key numeric formulas.
Lacks cusotmized printing layout capabilities.
Group management is smart; however groups have to be able to get assigned within everything even Workflows and contact dropdown lists to avoid single-user issue.
Replacing a user with a new one especially for out-of-group assignements is still very hard.

Good tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Project Management tools, the main page is like Project, but I like that it is collaborative and a live document, also the reminders by mail that you can automate are a great tool
What do you dislike about the product?
The Dynamic view, I haven't understood the reason, but with global files, I can not edit directly in the sheet but in Dynamic view and is really complicated with large files and also takes a lot of time each update
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a Project Collaboration all in one file, for example in the past we used Project, so each update was a new "PDF" and we had a lot of versions saved in carpets, now we just access the link and we know there is the last update, also even users without licens can consult timings, before that was the reason we needed to print as PDF to share with all the people involved even without a Project License.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet incredibly valuable for collaborating with my team and managing data. Its sheets provide a great way to simplify the handling of a large amount of information, which used to be overwhelming for me. I'm also impressed with its automatic conditional formatting, which minimises the risk of human error, and its Gantt chart feature, which helps streamline planning processes even more efficiently. These features make it an unbeatable resource in any project or task organisation endeavour, so naturally it's become my go-to tool whenever this type of work is involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find several aspects of Smartsheet very unsatisfactory. Creating a report or form is difficult and takes too long, while the automated features often fail to provide proactive solutions when faced with sudden changes. Although conditional formatting can be useful in some circumstances, its intricate mechanisms often leave me confused and struggling to understand what's happening behind the scenes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found Smartsheet to be the best solution for my problem with complicated project management, allowing me to streamline processes, minimise data entry errors and improve efficiency between departments and teams. This saves time and increases productivity - allowing me to do more with less.
