Easy to understand, multiple different uses, great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand, I love the workflow interaction with emails and notifications, also love the ability to easily add attachments, photos, comments, etc to rows.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find difficult is not being able to hide rows and columns like I would be able to do with Excel. Also, I love the workflows, but expanding the abilities of the workflows would also be helpful. Additionally, being able to have a smartsheet with multiple tabs that pull information from each other would be very helpful. This might already be possible and I have just not figured out how to do it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me easily to assign an issue or tracking item to a specific person and set up workflows for that assigned person to update the status of the issue. This allows me to not have to follow up with the person and automatically does it for me.
Very interesting experience - smooth automation but there can be improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate the system so I can help me automate responses from the Asia branch to HQ in the US is very valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on automation and how data are transferred. One of the worst experience is the ability to mass upload data since Smartsheet restrict the amount to copy-paste more than 50 columns and 500 rows at a time. Also, more logic in Forms can be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help connect international branch through collaboration by letting them fill in the Form, and Smartsheet consolidate data in one place which flows into HQ to retain data.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about using Smartsheets is its versatility. With Smartsheets, you can create spreadsheets, charts, Gantt charts and online forms in a single platform. It's also easy to collaborate with your team and your customers because everyone can view and update data in real time. Smartsheets also offers extensive integrations with other software tools, making it easy to transfer data between different applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that Smartsheet could improve. Navigating the platform can be a bit tricky, especially when you first start using it. Also, some of the controls and functions are not intuitive and can take some getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solves common project management problems. For example, I can set deadlines, assign tasks and receive update notifications to make sure projects are completed on time. I can also customize the data visualization for better analysis.
Easy to create tasks and track tasks for projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is easy to access and it enables my team to stay aligned on project progress. We're currently in the process of moving all our random spreadsheet to smartsheet. With smartsheet it's easy to visualize and streamline our workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
The only low side is the cost. There are a lot of free tools out there but smart sheets capabilities outshines them so depending on how you look at it it's worth the cost.

We have projects that involve having team members from multiple departments. Smart sheet makes it easy to input tasks and workflows and assign task owners. This helps us stay on track.

1. Smooth team collaboration - It is really easy to distribute and assign tasks as per the available bandwidth.
2. Realtime update and project tracking - Team collaborators can easily update their status in real-time and see others' status as well.
3. Dynamic dashboards - The dashboard is the most used feature in our company. Smartsheet lets us translate complex-looking data into graphs and charts, which are very comfortable and easy to view and analyze.
4. Functions and formulas - Although there are limited sets of functions and formulas. However, we can create our own logic and apply formulas as required.
5. Flexible automation - Automation is another useful feature. We use it for notifications and alerts for collaborators.

1. Conditional formatting has very limited options. It must have find and highlight duplicate values.
2. Non-licensed users should be given the option to use the conditional formatting tool.
3. Dashboards are quite difficult to create when data from more than two sheets are required.
4. Dashboards are quite complex to use especially for beginners. They take some time to learn even after going through the training.

Best tool for work management
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to use and it's numerous templates which are easy to use. And it's is easy to assign the task to the team members and able to give any update on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to follow the tutorial, and sometimes the smartsheet works a bit slow, the price for single user is a bit high. The integration to other tool are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the dashboard we could show the data which can be easily understandable to others, and easy to assign the task and able to give feedback on that. And while exploring the template it gives new ideas to solve the issue.
Smartsheets is the real deal!
What do you like best about the product?
This product is Excel on steroids! I love that Smartsheet can pull data from various locations all into one sheet using different methods. This has been tremendously helpful in our team's organizational processes. Streamlining with automation and dashboards is truly icing on the cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Smartsheet is just a great product. It's well thought out and put together. The only downsides I can think of are little things in the day-to-day functioning and usage of the product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows members of my team to collaborate easily on the same client. It has removed many of the leg and paperwork associated with our complex processes. Dashboards containing access to our work, all in one place, have saved my team hundreds of hours of labor. It also connects different departments working with the same client, reducing the time we spend chasing for answers.
Effective, fast and secure
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way Smartsheet simplifies and streamlines project management processes. Its wide range of powerful, automated features make it easy for teams to communicate and organise their projects in an efficient way that saves time and energy. Its easy-to-use form designs quickly update spreadsheets with updates, while its pre-configured templates require minimal setup before use - making it ideal for any task or skill level! I'm really impressed with how quickly this software can complete tasks with such a high level of accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Smartsheet's dashboards are not flexible enough in terms of tracking metrics. Almost no visual indicators are present, such as table borders and other markers, which makes it difficult to spot omissions. Additionally, I have difficulty integrating data from different spreadsheets into one dashboard where short text strings can be added as metrics summaries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Smartsheet, I can stay on top of all my projects and streamline our processes, saving me both time and money. Even if several people are working simultaneously on the same project, updates and priorities can be adjusted quickly.
Very comfortable, easy to use, easy to share with coworkers.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can use @ to point someone's attention to specific parts of a sheet, and you can add comments to specific lines. Also, our team was given multiple options for tracking our work, and we decided after considering other apps and websites this is the easiest one to learn and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wanted to create a simple sheet, and there were too many options. I succeeded in the end, but It's nice to have a simple table with nothing attached (like the first column with all the options to @ someone or add a file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track budgets and tasks mostly. I work from Israel, and my manager is in NY, so it's easy to remain on top of everything with smartsheet as it saves automatically and is updated whenever one of us logs in. We don't have to read through all the mailboxes to keep track of requests and answers to questions we forgot about.
Work Smarter, Not Harder
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a literal time saver, and it only improves as new enhancements are released! The workflow automation is one of the top features I use to improve efficiency. My role requires a ton of collaboration, and workflow automation allows our processes to keep moving as soon as someone completes their part, whether I'm actively working on that project or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many negative things I can say about Smartsheet, as I'm sure it's only a matter of time before my 'dislikes' become an upcoming product enhancement. My two biggest complaints are that there is limited customization regarding outgoing notifications, mainly text formatting and that Smartsheet doesn't have time as a recognizable field/data as it does for Date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet keeps our processes moving forward no matter what. With workflow automation, I can keep my projects moving forward without having to be actively hands-on / coordinate the transfer of information from one department to another while compiling approvals. This gives me back time to focus on other initiatives!
