What do you like best about the product?
I love the convenience and efficiency that Smartsheet brings to teams. It streamlines communication, collaboration, and document approval processes by allowing you to eliminate redundant versions of files while providing a secure layer of protection against unauthorized access or data exposure. The automated workflows with customizable reminders make it easy to stay on track, which is one of my favorite features of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet's reporting capabilities to be quite limited due to the lack of customization options for calculations beyond the default settings. Updating sheets and applying conditional formatting or automation is a very time-consuming process, especially when all old sheet references need to be updated in all related global update processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Smartsheet, I'm able to easily view our production schedules on one easy-to-read page.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet keeps me up to date and helps with decision-making thanks to its real-time updates and unmatched visibility into project progress. The improved collaboration feature streamlines data sharing between departments, reducing time spent and improving communication. In addition to speeding up response times, configurable alerts and automated workflows make sure we never miss a deadline for a crucial task. I value the ability to create and keep current calendars because it has made coordinating schedules and deadlines much simpler. Our approach to difficult tasks has changed as a result of Smartsheet, leading to more effective processes without compromising quality or going over budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
A time-based availability calendar for Smartsheet would greatly improve our team's ability to manage resource allocation. Integrating with programs like Float could streamline our procedures and give us useful information about resource usage. Furthermore, improving the user interface to make it simpler for brand-new users would further boost Smartsheet's value for our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our project management and cross-departmental communication have both improved since we started using Smartsheet. Our teams' productivity has increased and all my team projects are met within deadlines and allocated budget.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite features are the customizable templates that have enabled us to streamline our HR processes, such as employee onboarding and performance management. The Gantt charts and Card views have been extremely useful for visualizing and managing our project timelines, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. Also, the automated workflows and alerts have significantly improved communication among team members, resulting in fewer missed deadlines and better collaboration. Besides, the permission controls and data security features have given us the confidence to store sensitive HR data in Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep for new users, and the formulas/customizations often are too advanced for them. Also, more advanced reporting capabilities and analytics features would help us better understand trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has made a significant positive impact on our People Operations department, enhancing our ability to support our growing team and drive organizational success. We use it to manage recruitment pipelines, track employee performance, and coordinate training schedules. By centralizing our HR-related data, we can easily monitor progress, adjust priorities, and maintain transparency across the organization.
Not just another Project Management software
What do you like best about the product?
Our organization uses Smartsheets in multiple different capacities. We use it for internal quality improvement, reimbursements, feedback, QR codes with Smartsheets links for questions, project tracking, inventory management, and many other "tracking" tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app is great, but IT has to install the updates because my PC is locked down. I wish the desktop app didn't close down the desktop app and try to install in every 90 mins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My favorite problems that are solved with Smartsheets are the automations. I can set them and forget it. Need a monthly report, create a report and have it automatically email a specific email every month. Not only does it create a seamless process, but it reduces the amount of work I have to do daily/weekly/monthly. Additionally, we try to provide feedback to outside agencies, and the automations have reduced our feedback time from roughly 30 days turnaround to about 15 days.
How Smartsheet helped me improve my time management and multitasking skills
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the versatility of Smartsheet and the intuitiveness that comes with expert configuration. With this tool, I can quickly gather data from multiple sources in real time and easily perform calculations on it directly in the program itself. This data is then presented in a variety of ways in the form of a dashboard view that can be tailored to the needs and desires of each project - so you always get a very comprehensive analysis with a visual representation alongside the numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a significant amount of repetition when navigating between cells while making edits within a column. I think the user experience could be better if Smartsheet was more tailored to an international audience.

Smartsheet has given me the ability to easily organize, collaborate with my team and allocate resources efficiently.
Easy to use, highly customizable project planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is easy to learn and offers a sufficient level of customization for each of my project planning needs.

Smartsheets could be made better by improving the visual look of the Gantt chart features

Transformed the way we tackle complex projects!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Smartsheet is to use and how it can do many things. It helps our team do projects better with templates, charts, and working with other tools like Slack or Zapier. We can all work together at the same time, so we can finish things faster and work better.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I've encountered with Smartsheet is the occasional slow performance, particularly when working with large sheets or multiple users. This can impact productivity and cause delays in updating project information. It can be hard to learn, especially if you're not used to spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us work together on complex projects by giving us a place where we can all see what's going on. This has made talking easier, stopped misunderstandings, and let us see how things are going. So, we have less waiting, better plans, and we get more done.
Smartsheet Review
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Smartsheet is very user friendly. As someone who manages multiple projects at once, it can be difficult to stay on track. I appreciate that you can add other teammates to the sheets as well for feedback. I appreciate that you can have multiple sub-tasks in one master timeline, which makes it much easier to stay on track when managing a complex project.
What do you dislike about the product?
i find it challenging that Smartsheet does not have the option to edit non-working days when you are in grid view. I find this a bit cumbersome that you have to be in the Gantt view to add or remove dates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me to stay on track with all of my projects. I also find it very useful that you can organize the view to how you best individually understand the steps on a project. I also appreciate the option to colour code important steps.
An exceptional platform for project management with similarities to Excel
What do you like best about the product?
Having worked so long with numbers and project data through Excel spreadsheets, Smartsheet has seemed to me a good and more efficient way to increase productivity and organization when working on projects with a very familiar environment; Excel has made our adaptation to software and all its functionalities more accessible, we have not needed to rely on tutorials. We have been using it to manage our client project plans, and it has had a remarkable performance; it makes project management more organized, clean and efficient. I have also really liked its features that promote collaboration and teamwork; it has brought something precious to the productivity of all work teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is not the best, and the dashboards, charts and cards could be more customizable to them; this is the only thing I think could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a simple tool, easy to use. With an environment quite similar to Excel, this has made our adaptation to the software accessible, and we have not had to use tutorials to overcome the learning curve. It has collaboration tools that allow work teams to support each other and achieve greater productivity. In terms of project management and tracking, it is also mighty; we can efficiently monitor project plans and the status of each task. In addition, it is a very secure platform.
Improve time management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Smartsheet is its low price, excellent collaboration tools, and easy-to-use interface, which make it an ideal platform for my needs. Compared to other Excel-like solutions, Smartsheet focuses more on business applications that can be used by non-technical people. It does not require any additional software for me to access or receive data from different users and sources, which makes sorting through information a breeze! All of these features combined have made this application one that I rely on heavily, whether it's coordinating clients, tracking data, writing reports, you name it - Smartsheet has got me covered every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how difficult it is to monitor the conversion of form submissions in Smartsheet. It would be great it was possible to more easily issue request servers and perform analysis instead of having to manually collect data each time and track conversions through tedious form submission processes. This can be incredibly cumbersome; fortunately, this could all change if something like server requests were available as an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Smartsheet, I'm able to easily organize and share training materials with my implementation team. This makes it easier for us to handle new employee training processes in an efficient manner. It also streamlines communication about the various initiatives across our different departments so that everyone is on the same page.
