What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps me maintain my contacts for sales; it is beneficial when you need to follow up or get your emails ready for a sales promotion; the best thing about Smarsheet is I can access this from anywhere in the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet offers a wide range of features and benefits, it may not be the best fit for every organization or use case. Some users have noted that the platform can be complex and difficult to navigate, especially for those who are new to project management or online collaboration tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is primarily designed to help businesses lie ours and teams manage projects and collaborate effectively. By providing a centralised platform for tracking tasks, deadlines, and progress, Smartsheet can help teams stay organized and on track. This can be especially beneficial for organizations with complex or time-sensitive projects, where keeping everyone aligned and informed is critical to success.

What do you like best about the product?
As a business, we like Smartsheet as it helps us keep track of Audit Requirements (policies, registers, etc.). Smartsheet is easily accessible for all users, and we can monitor business production throughout - this is useful when we have strict manufacturing deadlines to meet. We use Smartsheet across all roles in our business; the filter aspect of Smartsheet can be beneficial when creating big registers, and only certain team members need to view specific items.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found anything we dislike about Smartsheet - we need to train some members on how to view Smartsheet and incorporate it into their everyday tasks. Again, Smartsheet is a very user-friendly program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us track due dates that we are not meeting; it benefits us when we are required to complete reports for workflow. As we use Smartsheet for all areas of our business, it also helps when we are preparing items for an Audit. Smartsheet is benefiting our business by being able to link to other programs.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate the most about Smartsheet is that it can handle different project management styles. The platform is flexible, enabling us to choose between Agile, Waterfall, or a mix of both. This adaptability is essential for maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One problem with Smartsheet is that it might not be ideal for very specialized or industry-focused project management requirements. Although it's highly adaptable, some companies may need functions or connections that aren't easily accessible or need a lot of customization in Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps our team remain orderly and focused on projects. The platform gives a single place for all project data and tasks, enhancing teamwork and discussion among team members. This has led to better efficiency and fewer missed due dates.
A great system for managing scheduling within a business.
What do you like best about the product?
Its great having a live sheet that our whole team can see and make changes where necessary and it all filters back through everyones sheets. Very good information storer and it is super easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find a little annoying is that you aren't able to customise your own sheet eg moving columns around to suit how you like to view it without changing the others users view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously used to use excel for our install scheduling which wasn't live, not everyone had access to the main sheet and it was forever being emailed through as a PDF. Smartsheet now means we all are on the same live sheet and everyone can see who makes changes and when.
Easy to use and great for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Smartsheet is to set up and use; it is as easy as using Microsoft Excel. Additionally, the ability to share sheets, create reports, and collaborate simultaneously with your team members is top-notch. The web-based solutions are also excellent because you can access them from anywhere, and the phone/tablet apps provide easy access.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, there are two key downsides to Smartsheet: it is a web-based solution, and there are unintended effects when editing sheets. The web-based solution is also a positive, but I'm constantly worried our IT group will shut down access to Smartsheet, and we wouldn't be able to use it anymore. The unintended effects occur when you have reports set up or data being pulled from one sheet to another for analysis/analytics; updating the source sheet may break your reports or data analysis. There is no warning from Smartsheet when you make these changes; you need to poke around on your other reports/sheets to confirm everything is still working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to have our engineering staff work on a Smartsheet simultaneously, Microsoft Excel also has this capability, but it does not work as well as Smartsheet. Smartsheet helps me manage my team and look up details on open tasks for our customers. Smartsheet also helps us easily create monthly reports for our customers; setting up various report views is a breeze, and consolidating these into a single pdf report for the customer takes minimal effort. Lastly, Smartsheet forms are fantastic and very easy to set up. They allow us to apply consistency to the data we collect on our tasks and will enable us to ensure our customers are providing all the data we need for a new work request.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Smartsheet since it makes teamwork on projects simple. It integrates effectively with other apps like Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams. Everyone is kept informed by the sharing possibilities, and we can create workflows using templates that are adaptable to our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the Smartsheet mobile app lacks all of the functionality found in the web version. Some aspects are more difficult to utilise when I am not in front of my computer. Also, I wish there was a chat tool for communicating with my team.

Smartsheet facilitates collaboration and project management. It's easy to see how projects are progressing and to make good use of our resources. The technology may be tailored to our specific requirements, making us more organised and productive.
Powerful management tools that leverage inter-connectedness
What do you like best about the product?
Many available features can be deployed in various ways depending on your needs. The most valuable specific function for us is linking data between sheets, which allows data to update in real-time based on new information. Cross-linking in this manner has helped us keep tabs on project budgets, drive billing activities based on line items, and assess financial forecasts vs. actuals.
I also think the licensing format is reasonable since many of our users only need to see information, while a subset truly interact with data and make changes. The company seems committed to developing the platform and adding new features over time, and the addition of the desktop app was very welcome.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user access nags are confusing and cause unnecessary alerts when adding unlicensed users. Read-only users get confused about the wording when they join and usually request a paid license. Not a big issue, but the platform does pester you about that request for a while.
At times sheet-to-sheet links can get a little wonky (which is probably a function of how much we use them) , however, these are usually sorted out by deleting and re-adding a link. Still, the links could do with some polishing in terms of working properly each and every time.

We generally turn to Smartsheet first when we need to implement or track a new process. It does a great job of centralizing data and allowing us to track progress, keeping both managers and end-users well-informed.
Easy for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to pick up and there is a lot of help available through different forums. I also like that there are a lot of differnt templates that can ve adapted and customised to my own data. TOeople ar happy to give their knowledge and are also quick to answer when you ask questions in the community.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if I was able to download the template instructions and also be able to update them. I have used the PMO template, which is vast, and had to customise it. I have then had to create my own set of instructions as not everything in the instuction is applicable and also need to add in where I have customised it. It woyld have been quicker if I could download the intructions and update it rather than starting from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use a 3rd party Service Provider and have been relient on them to provide data. Now that we have built our own PMO, it means that we drive the data and can hold them to account to provide solutions etc when planned to ensure they haven't manipulated the data. This has saved a lot of time where we had to previouly double check month on month.
Simple yet highly functional and customizable platform for a variety of productivity uses
What do you like best about the product?
If you took Excel and crossed it with Asana, you would get highly functional and impressive Smartsheets. While I also use both platforms, I have been a faithful Smartsheets user for eight years. I have used this platform to manage projects, collaborate on forms and projects with people from various companies, create forms and analyze data, and create dashboards of data with the support of the Smartsheets team. The platform is easy to learn, easy to use, and offers lots of supports through asynchronous webinars and tutorials.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about Smartsheets. The only thing I wish they would incorporate would be the opportunity to have more visuals for project management, like Asana does with the goofy unicorns.

Smartsheets provides a user-friendly platform to allow me to track data like our internship programs, large projects with a plethora of tasks assigned to multiple collaborators in various organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using it for our internal team project tracking and automated processes. It offers great collaboration capabilities with the team and tracking project progress on a single platform. Easy to interact with assigned users on projects and sharing files. It is a cost-effective tool for medium to large-size organizations and is easily accessible from any place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the real-time edits are not reflected in the spreadsheet may be the reason for bad internet connectivity. But overall, I had a great experience with Smartsheet and I would highly recommend it.

Smartsheet helps us to track the complete progress of the project and delivers on time. It helps us to efficiently manage and automate the workflow in our organization with better transparency.
