Quick and Easy for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Everything in one place making the project run smoothly and more efficacit than past methods. the abitliy to tah colluges and set reminder and deadlines , smartsheets is the best in the market
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides of smarthssets is not having tabs like a traidional exel sheet , however you can add titles which you can make into drop downs which has worked well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using smartsheets the projects were recorded different ways , smartsheets has allowed me to keep a consistant format on all my projets and set reminder / Deadlines meaning i can be more proactive and oeginised . Smarthseets has also allowed my line manger to look at the progress of my projects at any times and comment on the sheet/rows
Flexible, self-developable and interactive environment for people who are familiar with Excel.
What do you like best about the product?
For businesses that use a Excel, Smartsheet offers wide arrays of building reports, lists and tasks. Because it is interactive and easy-to use, It makes information-sharing pleasent.
What do you dislike about the product?
For building grand-scale data-flows and project-processes, users must have basic Excel skills. If they dont, it is easy to misuse the environment. Only applies to grand-scale self-developements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a great environment for interactive data-gathering and searcing, including text and pictures, and transforming this data into a fixed format.
Automated countless tasks along with bringing the team together
What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of utilisation and the capacity to collaborate with other teams are key benefits. By designing forms for team members to complete, we can effectively manage our workload and determine priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lack of comprehensive training, which means one has to make extra effort to grasp certain functionalities. Furthermore, our current package provides more capabilities than what we're utilising, but we're not familiar with all its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform facilitates teamwork across our entire organisation, enabling us to collaborate with diverse segments of the marketing team. Additionally, we utilise it to develop our marketing strategies and plans.

What do you like best about the product?
We use the forms function to simplify how our staff make internal requests. Also, you can set up daily emails or emails to be sent out when certain changes are made; this helps us automate a lot of our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be preferred to be able to lock individual cells, columns, and rows so that only a select group of people can modify them. Also, it would be good if the form could automatically date stamp when it was submitted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our staff to complete a form and then the automated emails submit this response out to third party companies. We are a motor trader so our staff use the form to request the collection of vehicles, and then the automated emails submit this out to our collection agency you will automatically collect these, as the requests are also stored within the smartsheet, our accounts can automatically approve invoices to these companies.
Great tool for managing projects and more
What do you like best about the product?
The business was struggling to keep track of specific projects before coming into the business, having used smartsheet in a previous company to manage events, it was a natural choice and with the price point being lower than MS Projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
I like to say that having the ability to administrate more across the users would be helpful, like better activity reports and access to what users pages are doing as an Admin
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all the tasks needed to be done in the project, the ability for users to add items on mobile and desktop as and when they think of them, but also comment on it to allow others to see where they are at
Smartsheet Review - Business use
What do you like best about the product?
Whilst working in compliance, being able to clearly show data and store evidence within cells of smartsheet was fantastic. I used this to be able to attain our annual ISO audits with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface does seem a little dated and could do with a revamp 'face lift'. Other than that, the useability of the software; smartsheet is pretty much faultless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in compliance has a range of issues when trying to store data in your own local systems. Smartsheet enables me to store, show, and demonstrate data to any auditor or member of staff needing particular evidence and/or information.
Smarsheet is the backbone for managing my team
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration and project management / tracking aspects are really useful. Being able to drag and drop rows is a clear step above something like Microsoft Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The collaboration aspects could be further improved when multiple people are editing the sheet at the same time. Sometimes the updates conflict after saves and rows are moved to the bottom out of position. It would be cool to view and track the other user's changes live similar to Google Sheets or Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The projects we setup in Smartsheet provide clarity to all of the project deliverables, time estimates, responsibilities and dependencies. The automation you get with Smartsheet saves you a lot a time and there's a nifty Gantt chart produced for great visualisation.
Difficult to learn from scratch
What do you like best about the product?
It maintains my systems on all appliances for very easy access
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to learn as an older gent who did not learn anything similar. And the quizzes that throw in aspects of the system that they don't cover in the actual quizzes source materials and then don't tell you where you went wrong. This, then, doesn't allow you to focus further on these areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at this stage, as I don't know enough and rarely have the time to learn more. I can see that it will, however the requirement to roll it out further inhibits the use as the team have a system already and are not so easy to convince to look at a new format.
Smartsheet is a transformative tool for our industry
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Smartsheet is its capability to provide spreadsheets and transform the data into a dashboard. Smartsheet dashboards have changed how we provide relevant information to our clients and significantly improved their engagement with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version of the dashboards is still clunky to be honest. Most of our clients view our dashboards on their mobile devices but the appearance is still not appealing. I wish Smartsheet invests more in enabling us to also design how our dashboards are viewed on mobile devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves a lot of our project and workflow management issues, particularly in data capture, recording, analysis and presentation. Smartsheet is an all-in-one SAAS tool that provides a holistic service that no other project management software provides.
Great collaborative business tool
What do you like best about the product?
Online, collaborative, visual, have found the automations to be very helpful in keeping track of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I also use Office 365/Excel Online and I find I switch between them at certain times for different use cases. Smartsheet doesn't autosave, which I find limiting. I like features in Office 365 where you can see exactly who is in a document at the same time with you and can both work together live without needing to save and update. I find Excel 365 seems a bit easier at times to share the documents in a variety fo ways, Smartsheet seems a bit more limiting on that front.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of projects in easy to follow Gannt charts, collaboration and assigning information, filling info back into the project with easy to generate forms and automoations.
