Easy to use, great training videos, friendly and helpful team.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is user-friendly; forms are simple to make and use, workspaces are helpful, and dashboards are brilliant for creating presentations of stats. I use Smartsheet to present our monthly stats to the Directors by creating reports and graphs from the data that the team has entered.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to copy and paste from Smartsheet onto other applications such as Microsoft Word, emails, PowerPoint etc.
It would also be extremely helpful if it were possible to embed a Smartsheet Dashboard onto a Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation; I use Smartsheet dashboard presentation view for stats, but Powerpoint has more options for the design of the presentation and a better view when presenting (sorry!).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Smartsheet, we did not have a safe and simple "database" of information that was easy to filter, archive, analyse and evaluate. Now, using sheets with accessible forms to input data, I can create reports, archive data, set reminders, track budgets, communicate with the teams, and present data.
It is great that I am able to export Excel sheets to create new sheets. As this saves time when we are merging older information.

A fantastic tool for managing large scale projects and teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides an easy way to collaborate with teams and share workspaces. It is easy to use, and our team was able to grasp advanced concepts quickly with the help of the Smartsheet Learning Center and Smartsheet University. Lastly, our existing skills were easily transferable from Excel, so we did not have to spend many resources on training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has lots of potential, but it has its issues. There are quite a few heavily requested features across the community that we would all like to see come to Smartsheet; I often end up finding a post from 5 years ago on the Smartsheet Feature Requests page that a lot of people would like to see that gets ignored, which is a shame to see as some of those features would be extremely useful for our team and others alike as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been struggling with various things in Excel; the collaborative features were not great, it was missing functionality, and it was often not the most user-friendly. Smartsheet changed all that with its simple-to-understand design and layout, as well as helpful links that our team could access if we ever hit a roadblock. Smartsheet helped keep everything in one place and helped organise our work considerably.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to be shared with others. Interlinking of formulas between sheets are straightforward and easy to use. I can also easily access sheets directly from my mobile phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I tick to stay signed in, for some reason it always signs be out anyway. A better login screen and prompts will be usefull, or perhaps a desktop app?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping track of actual sales vs our sales targets. Individual sales staff are able to record and keep track of signed deals. This all is incorporated into one tracking sheet per division.
We are also uploading info for management meetings into smartsheet for consolidation of accounting system, as well as smartsheet records.

A versatile platform for work management
What do you like best about the product?
TLDR: I like its user-friendly interface, multiple views, collaboration features, templates and solutions, automation features, and dashboards and reports. I recommend it for anyone who needs a flexible and robust tool for complex work across teams and departments.
What I like:

- It enables collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders. You can share sheets, assign tasks, add comments, attach files, set alerts and reminders, and integrate with other tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, etc.

TLDR: I dislike its high price, steep learning curve, and some bugs and limitations. It could improve by offering more affordable plans, better tutorials, and more updates and fixes.

- Better Tutorials would go along way. They must be quick and simple so that a 5 year old could follow.
- It can have some limitations or bugs in certain areas, such as formatting, formulas, integrations, mobile app, etc. Some users have reported issues with data accuracy, syncing, performance, or support.

Perfect platform to control lot of projects in one.
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of variations, how you can create a management system for all of your works. All employess can fill all neccessary info to one platform and you can collect everything in one place and share with your contractors. Also, good cooperating with google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like limits per sheets. Also, would be great if would be possible avoid of moving unnecessary columns together in second sheet when you copying info from base sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information losses like: Photos, protocols ant etc. Also, helps a lot when you can comunicate with each other through the comment section. Everything are in one place and everybody can check recent information and keep everything up to date with each other.
efficient, well built, consistent, somewhat user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The changes you can make to a sheet and that they show up in yellow. We have just bought the calendar app so we are about to see how that goes. I like that you can create lots of different sheets and section them out and have multiple options for creating dashboards and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's not entirely user friendly and takes some getting used to in terms of knowing how to effectively use it. There are a few things I know I can do on smartsheet but the formulas and sums are still a bit of a mind field to work out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me keep data secure and online. Helping me be able to publish links for our clients to look at. Helping me show changes I have made for our clients. Making things a bit more automated for me.
Better Project Management & Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
We've been searching for a tool for some time to help us better manage our customer projects. Smartsheet gives us the ability to understand what is due week by week, who is responsible, what the blockers are and much more. The visibility the tool provides is game-changing for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report creation is slightly cumbersome, but with some dedicated time and effort it is usually possible to create the report you have in mind. There are some filter limitations also, but like most platforms, there are workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing deadlines and availability has been a challenge for us in the past, simply because we lacked visibility. Smartsheet has helped us to rectify this issue in many cases. We're able to be more productive day by day, and prioritise the work that needs doing.

What do you like best about the product?
its collaborative, i can use it with colleagues anywhere. Its simple to use and similar to excel. Its great how we can view the information in chart view, list view and various filters can be set. I like that we can email from within the tool and add attachments to items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially it wasnt an intuitive tool for me... couldnt work out how to download/export the data and how to set filters. It would be good if every new user gets sent a 'how to' video link to get a quick tour
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have a very restricted work network and Smartsheet allwows us to collaborate across countries for the purposes of having one plave to record and track Change requests and incidents

We have been using Smartsheet for years and it just keeps getting more useful to our business!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for keeping everything about a product in one place and organised - the ability to add attachments and notes to the rows I find very helpful.
It is a great project management tool that you can hold all the information and communications together and organised in. The daily updates are excellent for keeping people informed on a project in a concise and efficient way without too many alerts!

Not too much to dislike about this product - they keep adding features that improve your efficinacy and organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all our buiness areas plans and projects on track and in one place is the biggest benefit and the fact that we can all access it and see history and get alerts
