Useful for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way for multiple users to collaborate remotely on complex tasks. The "cell history" feature is extremely useful for tracking who made edits and when. It is a solid tool for tracking/record-keeping, and the notifications are helpful for keeping posted on recent changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more flexibility in the "sort" feature. Currently, you can't undo a sort once it has been saved (and Smartsheet autosaves, I think every minute if you don't click--a wonderful feature in general, not so much in this case). It would be helpful to have the capacity to do a quick sort and not have that sort change the sheet permanently. Perhaps they will add this feature in future.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have the sheets communicate with each other with automation. The formulas are easy to use and implement as they are similar to those used in excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
When multiple people are working on a sheet, it isn't live updated like google sheets. You have to save or refresh the sheet to see the updates or changes the other person made. This causes a delay, and we have found it easier to do a screen share in a meeting and have one person make changes to the sheet while everyone else offers suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track our progress, issues arising, time spent on each specific project, and goals and sales. We can see a measurable difference daily with the daily graphs in our dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. Its automation features alleviate a ton of back-and-forth emailing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their pivot app does not function well and is frustrating to use while testing due to delayed updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a number of things, including requests from our frontline to the backline, project management, automatic notifications, document generation, document signatures from customers and other items. We also build dashboards for our management to be able to quickly get a view of the workload for different areas.
Smartsheet simplifies my day-to-day
What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly, easy to learn/teach others about, and keeps me organized. Oftentimes, when I'm starting a new project and trying to think of ways to keep track of my work, Smartsheet is one of the first tools I think of.
What do you dislike about the product?
For how I use Smartsheet, I feel that it meets my needs at this time. I often use it to keep information organized for projects and it prompts me to stay on task and follow up, when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Smartsheet solves for me and the team I work on is enabling multiple team members to access a sheet, report, or dashboard. It's very different from an Excel sheet in the way that multiple team members can work within the same sheet at the same time.
Invaluable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smarthsheet greatly facilitates communications across multiple staff and workflows. This program allows me to keep communication about any project with the relevant project rather than grinding through mountains of emails in my inbox. In one Smarthseet I am able to display a quarter's worth of project deadlines, status, relevant links, etc. for my whole team. I find the use of Smartsheets survey capabilities for quick tracking of necessary program sign-ups, feedback, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet didn't have to be exported to Excel, instead, would accept cut/paste of cells between Smarthseet and Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me organize time member activities and communicate efficiently with my teams. The reporting options and dashboard help me display key metrics associated with key project elements.

What do you like best about the product?
Is the most organized software, smartsheet helps us to achieve our goals by increasing productivity and reducing the variability of the process making a standardized result.
What do you dislike about the product?
the lest helpful of this software is the visualization, you may improve visualization and make it more intuitive so will be much easier to learn how to use it in the first time.

is helping our company to have all the data and information together in one place safe and easy to access, by the way, is really when you have all tasks in one place and you can check them when is compleeted
Lots of Features, but I'm not sure how to use them
What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to house info and allow team members to collaborate, save and work on documents at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features that aren't as intuitive as I would hope, so I need to do more research on how to utilize the predictive dates and such in the way my company utilizes the technolog

Simple tool to get organize
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very user-friendly. You can do many things with it: from managing simple projects to creating proofs for others to review. Fairly inexpensive software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the proof part of smartsheet a lot and I wish I could automate the process and send reminder automatically to people that haven't reviewed the proof. There are a limit of 20.000 rows, that's an increase from the previous 5.000 rows limit but it can still be not enough depending on what you use smartsheet for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet to manage projects in our marketing department. We use it to create projects, track who is actively working on aproject and the status of a project. We also use the proof aspect of smartsheet.
Great product with useful managment tools
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of connecting data between sheets into reports and dashboards. Specific data can remain in its individual but the ability to combine a lot of information into one informative page that multiple users can access is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike edit-sharing permissions. I feel that each sheet should have permission assigned to it vs just sharing a workspace with multiple people and giving them one access level. I commonly want one person to edit multiple sheets without sharing the entire workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creates an organized system to assign and schedule tasks for myself and other team members. Communicate project info to customer and other while keeping all information in an easily accessible cloud.
Great Tool for Collaborating
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create a useful tracker that our team can access anywhere, anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Columns can not be adjusted in the sheet to be able to add new information that does not align with the column headings. still need better ways to work within a sheet

we have a global team and as the Managing Editor it allows me to see all activities related to specific magazine issue.
