SmartSheets makes work easier
What do you like best about the product?
Creating automated workflows makes projects move from department to department smoothly. When used as a CRM and built correctly, SmartSheets is a great tool for project managers and employees to stay on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be difficult for new people to create workflows and automation. Proejcts can be lost if not formulated correctly. Needing someone to be proficient in formulating workflows can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Im not sure what bugs or fixes smartsheets has. I've only had the pleasure of using it as project management software. I haven't had any issues that were self-inflicted.
Simplify workflow management and data collection
What do you like best about the product?
I like the efficiency and organizational capabilities of Smartsheet. Its intuitive data collection forms allow me to quickly and accurately capture the details of a project. Its project management features are essential for our in-house production and graphics services, allowing us to track tasks and progress. Everyone involved stays informed and on schedule thanks to an organized matrix grid that simplifies the established workflow, timeline, and goals. This is an invaluable tool for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet does not allow you to download and update the template instructions. This would have saved me a lot of time and effort when modifying the PMO template. I was forced to make my own guidelines and note the sections where I changed things because the instructions did not all apply to me. The ability to quickly update and download instructions would have been very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been a lifesaver for me, eliminating the tedious task of manually monitoring project planning and spreadsheet data. With the automated real-time features, any changes are quickly flagged and I can keep track of the most important details.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an incredibly flexible platform that is fantastic for online collaboration, project planning, time tracking & dashboard delivery. User management is also simple & straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can sometimes be a bit clunky & is not always super-intuitive. Add-ons to the standard subscription are typically more expensive than the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives us a platform that allows us to deliver data visualization from complex systems to an easily digestible dashboard that we can then deliver to clients & collaborate with them on solutions. The platform also gives us an internal collaboration platform where we can warehouse various organizational reports & projects.
Smartsheet for Business in HR
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheat has a clean UX design. It's easy to use and easy to pick up on. The layout is simple but does everything you need it to do. Smartsheet is excel.. but better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about it is sometimes we're limited on what we can customize. While there is a lot of customization on it but for what I personally use it for (HR, benefits) there is only but so much I can change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet benefits me by keeping everything organized. I have a smartsheet (and folder!) for what I'm working on broken down by each client. It is also helpful for when someone is OOO, and anyone on my team can access my smart sheets to see where I am with the project(s). Everyone having access (unless changed) is a game-changer because it just makes it easier for our team.

the learning curve was hard but that was due to lack of experience with excel

helps me keep track of project in every stage and it also helps accelerate in project work flow so i can better manage my time
Project and task management FTW
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Smartsheet helps my colleagues stay up to date and organized within one project with many moving parts - we can communicate within the app, and all associated documentation is conveniently accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering out assigned projects can be a bit combersome, but not impossible. With a few short training videos, new users can acclimate to the nuances and quirks of the app. Listening to user feedback is the best way to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping streamline the communication process on tight deadlines, so that we all understand expectations and know where/how to reach each other without inundating email inboxes.
I really enjoy SmartSheet and the interconnections that it has with other applications.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the automation that can be set up within SmartSheet is fantastic, and it just makes our lives as Project Managers way easier! I also enjoy how it is similar to Excel, with even easier functions, such as dragging and dropping rows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real thing that I can think of to improve would be the saving function. Sometimes I forget to hit the save and lose some of the things that I was working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet solves the problem of me having to manually calculate project task durations and when a task is due, and the next predecessor is ready to begin. It also gives me the ability to share and have my clients enter information for me as well.
Smartsheet for Automation and Efficiencies
What do you like best about the product?
I love that multiple people can work on the same document at once. I love the automation, the notification and the cell tracking capabilities. I love making forms, and I love being able to import sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very difficult to learn to navigate and learn how to build efficiencies. Most sheets created are inefficient. Learning how to set up is not easy; most people don't use it well. I use it well, but I know there is much more to discover. I wish there were a way to draw a template for organizing a space. Our workaround was to ID a location in a sheet. Another function I think exists but have not mastered is being able to import updates on specific cells alone. I don't know if there is a way, but certainly, I'm lost trying to figure out how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility is the best outcome of Smartsheet. It allows for automation, notification, and status updates. I estimate it eliminates 80% of useless emails that often are missed or ignored.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets helps us collaborate as a team. We use it mostly for project plans, event plans, track to-do work and our content calendar for our social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite expensive which doesn't allow all of us to have multiple usernames and accounts. Some find it it difficult to learn how-to use and share sheets. The learning tools could be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration. Eas one stop shop for our content planning, implementation, calendaring, and scheduling. Also very helpful for anayltics and reporting when the year is done.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is organized and helpful in maintaining an outline of any projects in progress. Fields can be added to cards, color-coding can be implemented and adjusted, and overall it is a great tool for the workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to navigate the complexity of the types of sheets, using of filters, logic based on current status of task, etc. Also, as far as I know, each task can only be assigned to one person. It would be helpful to have the ability to assign multiple individuals to a single task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and task management and overall organization with projects and deadlines. Being able to create and customize a workflow, in general, is a massive benefit to my job.
