Great organization for a busy team.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheets keeps my team organized so well. The platform is easy to use and easy to share. We have a big team and a lot of projects to organize, and having Smartsheets keeps lots of information organized clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing about Smartsheets is the ownership and sharing permissions. It can get hard to remember to share and grant permissions. More prompts for granting permissions could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization with many projects and keeping on top of deadlines. With the use of Smartsheets in our office, our team knows where each project is at and when important dates are coming up.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to share with multiple contributors on multiple sheets. easy to create and modify the sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
After the recent update, we can not print attachments without downloading them first. This really hinders our productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
creating an easy to use system that allows our entire production shop to see jobs coming up with attached drawings for the parts they are building. It allows everyone to access everything on their smart phones.
Efficient accounting tracking and automated project management work-flows.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is the automated work-flows, inter-sheet communication, document linking, and simple formulas (eg: CHILDREN).
What do you dislike about the product?
When making a change in one sheet, it would be helpful if the other sheets in the same format/template would automatically make the change as well. Also, when there are changes in one sheet, it can throw off many of the references in other sheets. It cannot have particular views saved, like hiding some columns all of the time or unhiding specific columns but not all columns at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forms give us a simple way to enter invoices. We track invoices in one sheet and then are able to manage many budgets from the one invoice form and sheet.
Excellent Project Experience
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is simple and easy to use. It functions in many similar ways to project management systems I am familiar with. It integrates well and easily sharable inside and outside of company. My favorite feature is the way it seemlessly brings together documents into one place. I no longer have to dive through emails or folders to find what I am looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the lack of advanced equations. Each of your equations and formulas needs to be very basic. This is easy to overcome but is a shortcoming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting many different departments with different sets of information. Now we can bring the information together into one location.
Great Place to Organize Shared Information
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible it is. It has so many uses. Additionally, I like how I'm able to edit in real time along with my teammates. It helps us keep track of all of our media plans as well as creative and other advertising information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am new in my career and haven't explored other options, but so far I don't have any thing I dislike about it. It doesn't cause us any problems and we are able to do everything we need in the platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of information to organize and Smartsheets help us do that. From flight dates to job codes, creatives, and audience targeting there is a wide variety of information that has to be stored and organized in a simple way.
Smartsheet is a great tool to collaborate with co-workers because the sheet is always available.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the sheets are always available online. There are so many advanced tools to use, and you can make your sheets much more than just a bunch of data on a spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that needing access online is one of the things that I dislike, because if you are not able to get online where you are at then you cannot access any of your sheets to do work on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having issues with collaboration between the teams, and Smartsheet helped us solve that issue by always being available. Since users can get to it constantly, they can make their changes as needed, and projects are getting completed faster now.
Simple & effective !
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Smartsheet is how it is to share work with coworkers. It's also super helpful to be able to create subcategories and be able to see our deadlines on a Gant chart or even a calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside to Smartsheet is that it is more complicated to work on a document with a colleague simultaneously. It would be helpful to see the changes made to the document in real-time instead of having to save and refresh each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team see the magnitude of a project while still being able to understand the "simple" steps they need to take to help their coworkers. It helps to break down the project for them and to keep them from getting overwhelmed.
Beginning to understand the power of Smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how you can utilize some standard formulas used in Excel in Smartsheet, stretching the limits of what's possible from sheet to sheet. I've never used another platform similar to Smartsheet so I cannot compare. Smartsheet is allowing me to grow by utilizing its features as I'm getting stronger with my project management skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to get an accurate breakdown of our tasks by contributor, we have to have duplicate tasks, one for each contributor, in our project grid. We are beginning to pull task-related data for each contributor in a specific "metrics" sheet derived from our project grid. Issue being when we assign multiple contributors to a single task(on a single row), we cannot accurately pull in task related data (i.e. hours, number of tasks, completed/in progress task breakdowns, etc) into our metrics sheet. We're currently doing so through the use of SUMIF() statements, which may not be dynamic enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us reduce on the number of locations different employees will save their work - we understand that we can save files to our tasks and update the version history. It has also increased visibility to the all the tasks that are being worked on for a given project.
The integration of Smartsheets into our workflows has been a huge time saver for my team.
What do you like best about the product?
The best things about Smarsheet are the automations we can create and the communication between sheets. Our sheets stay current and team members are notified of new data or date markers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of integration with Excel without upgrading your plan is very frustrating. Many systems can upload Excel, text, or csv files into their systems, but not Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage all of our partnerships with outside organizations, knowing where they are in the partnership process, alerting us when orders need to be placed, and tracking communication.
Smartsheet is very easy to make updates in real time and easy for others to follow along with.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can access smartsheet on any computer. It also has more functionality then excel and it is great how you can customize the dates and different formulas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to make a revisions to smartsheet and then it could ruin the timeline if you make one mistake and sometimes hard to get back the work without things getting confusing.

Smartsheet ensures we keep track of the project milestones and specific details for our deliverables. The whole team and organization has access to the information so it is easy for everyone to understand where the project lifecycle is.
