Timelines made easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can make complex timelines that connect to each other which allows the user to make changes to one date and all other dates will change with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
i do not like the gantt chart view. It's very "blah" looking and is not usable to be client facing for our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me create reasonable timelines for the work to get done and serve as a source of truth.
Intuitive Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that its like an intuitive excel sheet, so we already have a basis on how to use it but it has the automation and notifications that arent necessarily a part of excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas can be different from Excel, I believe, unless I'm doing something wrong. Sometimes the filtering/sorting can get a little finicky if there are a lot of categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly using them for date based sheets. Such as project schedules, we need to track the initial, current and actual dates then bring into our database as a widget.
Game Changing!
What do you like best about the product?
First of all, Smartsheet literally saved my job. In a shrinking industry looking to cut jobs, I was next in line. However, I had been learning how to use Smartsheet for months previously and was able to demonstrate how it was far and away a better system for lead management and conversion than anything the company was using. By demonstrating it's usefulness, and by default, being "the Smartsheet Guru", I have been able to not only keep my job but have opportunities for advancement by implementing solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to email from within the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is great for using it as a hub for the company and tracking processes. We used it to aggregate information, track client interactions and weekly updates, track employee time and vacation tracking, and distribute weekly assignments. Most importantly, it worked great for scheduling the workstreams for a project and assigning time values to them to ensure we stayed on track for client deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product felt basic in terms of outputs and visualizations. The price did not justify the value we received for the things my company was using it for. More depth was needed in creating workflows and being more interactive for users involved in the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems were scoping a case and tracking progress while multiple projects were underway. Smartsheet's tool made it easy to follow which projects had kicked off, what stage they were in, and flag any roadblocks. This laid it out for the entire team and made sure high priority issues were handled.
Excellent source for Marketing and Tasks between departments
What do you like best about the product?
We have used Smartsheet to help ensure monthly/yearly/daily tasks are getting completed across departments and locations. Smartsheets have truly allowed us to be more efficient in getting these done in a timely manner and not fallen off our plates.
What do you dislike about the product?
We barely touch the surface of what Smartsheets can do, but I wish there was more accessible training to learn how to use this resource better and more proficiently.

Smartsheet is allowing us to know all of the daily/monthly/yearly tasks that need to be completed and keep these in a place for all locations, departments to see.
Keeps Me Time Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to run reports on specific details and receive updates on sheets when changes are made. It's saved countless hours and is super beneficial to have information broken down in an organized format.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you submit questions for help, the feedback isn't generally that helpful. Or it hasn't been in my case. Youtube has proven to be more informational in troubleshooting questions I've had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working with a team on building a conference in the next few months. Our registration details, task lists, and expenditures are in one easily accessible workspace. It's been a blessing! Plus, being able to utilize SmartSheet as a registration platform, as opposed to using Eventbrite has been wonderful.

Collaboration: you can assign tasks to users and share projects with stakeholders for tracking and visibility.
Flexibility: you can create dashboards and tailor the rows and columns to your needs. I also like that you can link other sheets.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we had a tab function. Sometimes I have projects that have multiple deliverables, and I would like to easily cycle through all of the deliverables within the same window. Right now, I have to create a page per deliverable, and it's not as efficient as having all project deliverables within the same "file" as Excel tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking project status and allowing others to have visibility during the project lifecycle. It also helps me track projects and see the pain points easier so we can act faster.
Great for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's best features include the capability to assign projects to users and provide a comprehensive project overview. When a ticket is received, Smartsheet intelligently identifies the appropriate users to assign the project to.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the product excels in project-based ticket management, it falls short in comparison to other competitors when it comes to the ticketing system setup. It may not be the optimal choice for tracking daily tickets, which is an area where improvements could be made.

What do you like best about the product?
First, it organizes files by sorting data according to desired value. Second, readily available templates just makes data preparation and presentation so much more convenient. Third, navigation of app is easy that even beginners can easily utilize such tools. Lastly, the feature where attachment is allowed is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think all features of smartsheet are really useful in inventories and monitoring anything be it time, resources, progress, finance and so on. I cannot say one is least useful than the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tracks the timeline and progress of our project. Also, issues encountered are listed thus future errors are addressed if not avoided. It really saves us a lot of time and effort.
Transparency over all projects
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets allow me to be transparent about where I am on a project, what items are at risk, what items have been completed and if we are trending on time. This also allows me to review various milestones over several projects to determine where our highest pain points are and address the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few features seem a bit clunky. This included moving fields on a page, indentation and overall formatting. I would like to have that I am anal though, so this is probably just me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This provides my consulting team and my client with transparency over the projects I am working on and where we are in the process. This has significantly assisted my overall output and how many projects I am able to handle at a single time.
