Good for Collaboration & Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a simple way to plan a project that requires collaboration with multiple people. I appreciate the automation features as well as the ability to receive reminders and alerts when details have changed. In addition, the forms available in Smartsheet offer a good way to gather feedback or collect information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tend to upload a lot of files, and it would be nice to have a more user-friendly way to view or organize the uploaded files. Maybe folders or categories would suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a hybrid team. Smartsheet helps us plan and manage projects with ease. We can collaborate effectively and see the status of key projects when we use this tool. This tool is easily accessible to everyone, so we're all on the same page. It's also nice to have all of our plans live in one place. When we approach similar projects, we have a good starting point because we can review our previous plans.
A really good experience!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy global management of projects that allows for traceability. Likewise, I like that it allows you to work on the different sheets at the same time, which facilitates teamwork, and I love the reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when a shared sheet appears separately, and sometimes it isn't easy to locate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to keep track of several projects at the same time and have the information online and more when I work with different countries.
The ideal tool for managing project collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Smartsheet because it has a user-friendly interface that makes managing and monitoring projects easy. Its customizability allows us to tailor it specifically to our company while still providing high quality data visualization tools like Kanban boards and Gantt charts. Because the process is similar enough that Excel users can quickly understand how it works with minimal training or debugging, employees can quickly adopt this useful technology and reap the full benefits! We also find the calendar view option very helpful when tracking various marketing tasks over a monthly period.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I have with Smartsheet is the lack of an auto-save feature. Compared with other web-based applications, such as Google Apps, this inconvenient and time-consuming requirement drastically hinders my workflow efficiency. If Smartsheet could implement an auto-save feature, it would greatly enhance the way I work within the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of tracking complex, multi-workstream assignments. By centralizing all relevant data in a single platform and organizing it into an efficient workspace, I am able to work efficiently with my team and collaborate more effectively on different projects.
Great Product to Share Information
What do you like best about the product?
I adore how Smartsheets allows you to set alerts and reminders on your design sheets and forms. This feature is beneficial when you want to gather and be notified of responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its capacity to work with formulas and functions is highly constrained. When I need to calculate metrics based on data in my smartsheets, I often find it challenging to use the most common parts and formulae because they are unavailable in smartsheets like Google Sheets or Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Viewing many tabs without switching between them is now available thanks to the Smartsheet app. Being able to link to other applications, such as Outlook, is useful.
Easy to use and share with small and large teams
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create so many different types of spreadsheets, survey team members, get input within sheets from multiple sources, allow users access without full control of sheets. I appreciate the ability to add notes in sheets as well as attaching documents to specific lines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I have found. Maybe just that I know I am not utilizing it to its full potential and need more time in my day to learn how to truly delve into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to coordinate and deliver results to a large team while working remotely has been beneficial in reducing the number of meeting we have to have over teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The template library that smartsheet offers for different types of uses and visual dashboards that can be created are the standout feature for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see multiple tabs option in smartsheet that will help cluster the data in singular sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use smartsheet for professional service delivery management for my clients. It helps me track, manage, sort and visualize the data I need for myself and to present it to the customer.
smartsheet -- your complicated friend
What do you like best about the product?
I've come to appreciate smartsheet for project plans (incl. the ability to include due dates and assign tasks to colleagues) and online surveys, which are great to be abel to download into a spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
moving rows and columns around gets a little clunky. I wish I could grab a line and move them around. Everything seems to involve multiple steps which aren't always intuitive. When I can spend the time to figure something out, it works great--but I don't always have the time and I end up giving up on features that I think could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i get a lot of value out of the surveys. I particularly like how the questions can be customized (i.e. short or long text fields, drop-down selections, and additional questions contingent on the answer to other questions).

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy/appreciate the integration connections SmartSheet offers with other platforms (e.g. JIRA). I utilize spreadsheets in my role and having the ability for real-time data integrations to always be up to date is key for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been instances in the past where different column names would impact Reports if they were changed. I believe this was recently fixed and SmartSheets does not break reports if someone changes a column name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheets allows me to grasp the number of internal and customer-support-related tickets in our backlog. I can see from a high level view the various metrics was capture.
Smartsheet saves so much time!
What do you like best about the product?
The document attachment and comment feature on each row creates great communication and visibility for all team members. The approval process goes so much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Smartsheet is when you are uploading files you do not have the option to overwrite documents or rename them. For example, Version 2 or proofed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the approval process problem. Many times we do not know who has the asset or where it is in the process. Smartsheet allows the team to know where the deliverable is in the process and its status.
User friendly and helpful for organization
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very user friendly for the basics and is easy to keep information organized and available to other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features in Smartsheet but for the amount that I use Smartsheet, it is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us keep track of our training that we offer - we work for a large company and it is hard to keep everything organized. Smatsheet is our one stop shop and our whole team is able to collaborate through the use of this program with reminders, surveys, data tracking plus more.
