smartsheet makes it possible to keep a history of all the stages dealt with during the project

- No cons at the moment for me (from a Marketing POV)

I can provide shareable links to the sheets (and can limit access to those i share it to).

What do you like best about the product?
the timeline scheduling and also the way to implement tasks and assign tasks to the right people.

What do you dislike about the product?
i guess the analytics could be improved?
maybe even an open api to connect like dataset to see how long it took to complete task etc. to recap on post go live etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we did a massive migration and there were 500 over reports, tasks and outlines to be done.
it was quite hard to manage on a spreadsheet etc and we decided to invest on smartsheet.

Great features
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to upload documents and add comments to each line. Collaborating with other colleagues and being able o locking down different parts of the sheet is a real bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I could comment on is the difference between other programs when wanting to start a new line within a call. With Smartsheet, you need to hold Alt, then enter as opposed to every other program; you hold Shift, then enter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, I am not across the changes that smartsheet is implementing; I have been overseas for 4moths and busy catching up on work. I am looking forward to seeing the changes and how they will benefit me though
Relatively Easy to View; Editing Harder
What do you like best about the product?
You can attach files to lines in the spreadsheet easily and set up columns and forms that will let you populate things via the form into the spreadsheet. It is relatively easy to set up templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation features are not straightforward for people who have not necessarily used a platform similar to Smartsheet before. It does give you instructions and is fine for doing one basic sheet, but when you want to put together a database and amalgamate several sheets into one 'source of truth' it is less intuitive. It would be good to be able to have for example an option of putting several sheets into a folder, then being able to easily filter by dates etc in that folder. Not sure if this is currently possible, but if it is, it is not terribly user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps records of task requiring action (where you can include checkboxes etc) and you can set reminders through automation. This is also used for reminding people when things are expiring.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a fantastic platform for keeping track of project updates, milestones, deliverables, and documents. Smartsheet has helped us by generating actionable and timely notifications, and alerts to make sure our tasks are completed in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be amazing to integrate ChatGPT or some form of AI to facilitate user interface and help non-coding users take advantage of all the Smartsheet capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets has served as both an accounting and project management platform to help us keep track of over 60 projects within our organization. The capability to link cells, workspaces and share freely within our organization has helped with project tracking and reporting not only for Program Managers but also for Leadership to keep track of progress.
It is very user friendly, but extreemly versitile.
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility, we use this from full production (fully automated and linked workshop production) to simple meeting agendas that all stakeholders can contribute to. Easy to establish a sheet and then build and evolve, a real efficiency time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you can't add highlighting or bold to some text within a box, you can only do the whole box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were printing sheets for each stage of production, we now have a fully digital workshop that works on seamless automation. Or sheets go from forecast to dispatch, including picking, assembly, QA dispatch, and even a dashboard linked in for live updates.
Smartsheet has been a great tool to enhance my long-time love of Excel
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to learn for the most part since it's patterned off of Excel. I like that it is great for external collaborations and has respository features
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that anytime I share smartsheet with an external collaborater that they have to set up an account. The login itself can be cumbersome and is subject to corporate firewalls. Often to collaborate without strings attached, I have to make the spreadsheet public which limits security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping create dashboards for my team so that we know how much time certain tasks are taking. It is also great for setting up surveys, forms and collaborate project tracking.
One of the best applications for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Best parts of Smartsheet are that it allows collaboration and sharing of information very easily to lots of people. The Dashboards function means that visibly it is easy to see which projects are on track and when they are falling behind.
What do you dislike about the product?
The excel like features are not as user friendly at times, especially setting up Vlookups and performing calculations within a smartsheet. I end up spending sometime in the help function to understand standard excel formulas which work on Excel but do not on smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to schedule Enhancement projects, track timelines, and assign tasks to team members. It is allowing me to more productive and see where the time is being spent.
SmartSheet is easy to use and great for organization!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that SmartSheet is similar to Excel is some ways, therefore making it easier to navigate around and even use similar shortcuts that work in Excel as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the downside of using SmartSheet is that it constantly refreshes automatically while multiple people are working on it, making it time-consuming sometimes to finish tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of organization and collaboration with other team members, SmartSheet is a great tool and is super beneficial in team settings. Multiple things can be laid out, organized, and worked on simultaneously!
