SmartSheet Helped Organize Information Delivery
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet has been a great solution for our company as a vehicle for providing valuable information to our teams. It has been especially useful as a hub for linking our team members to pertinent information on multiple clients. We were able to house all of this information in a central location via the hub and ensure that everyone is working with the most current directives, initiatives, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the workflows and other solutions can be limited and cumbersome. Everything is spreadsheet-based and you must understand this to make the best use of it and understand its limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet helps us collect and compile information regarding our clients' need and expectations and securely deliver it to the boots-on-the-ground forces. It gives us control of the information.
Great for accounting!
What do you like best about the product?
For accounting, it's a great way to track month-end tasks and progress by stakeholders. We love the ability to automate reminders and request updates without logging into the platform. The automation tool is intuitive for creating rules and obtaining the scenarios needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trainings focus more on data shuttle and features we don't find useful. It would be nice to have more training around automation. Helpful guides around formulas that can be used similar to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows for automatic reminders for tasks due directed specifically to stake holders and enables us to add rules to the reminders/update requests to streamline workflows.
One stop shop for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It can be customised to be as simple or as complex as is needed and making changes as life happens is simple and intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features that would be super useful like lookup tables are only available to enterprise customers and the price is unrealistic for regular users

Information captured from clients and managed with various team members in real time and customisation of notifications and reporting of data

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have multiple team members working in a spreadsheet without the need to have it saved locally on PC, or a server is great. There is no fear of the file being corrupted or accidentally deleted. We still have access to our data if any of our hardware fails.
What do you dislike about the product?
When multiple people make changes simultaneously, those changes will not appear on the current view of other users unless the sheet is refreshed. This doesn't cause us any real issues, but I imagine it could cause some confusion for users with large teams who use it simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps our team on the same page with all our open and pending projects. If one user updates the spreadsheet, everyone will have the new data. Previously, we would need one team member to update the spreadsheet and send out an updated copy to everyone involved.
Efficient project management and collaboration to boost your productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I can create comprehensive reports on specific projects and components, even on complex projects with multiple variables. I also like the fact that I can easily create clear and efficient surveys and get the results instantly in spreadsheet format. This feature makes it easy to collaborate on survey management. I also appreciate the various options for visualizing data, such as maps, Gantt sheets and Excel forms for data entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform can be a bit slow and there can be problems and bugs - Smartsheet stands out for its interesting integration options with third-party vendors, which sometimes go unnoticed. It should be noted that although there are pre-defined templates, customization options are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any company, regardless of size, can effectively use this platform to manage projects, automate tasks and track them in real time. Centrally managed and accessible from any device at any time, project management is easy with this all-in-one solution, and Smartsheet offers a host of unique features to improve work efficiency.
Amazing Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides us the capability to automate a process that may not warrant a larger automation project. It also allows us to organize and manage our project portfolio efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Out of the box, governance is lacking. For example, I cannot see at an enterprise level what workspaces exist, what user owns which sheets completely. Backups are clunky also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving simple automation processes with its workflows. Smartsheet also is serving the largest role within our PMO managing our project template sets & portfolio.
Useful Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for project plans, task lists, and even integration into Power Automate. Using a Form to submit work or task and using Power Automate to add to an existing sheet is excellent. It is reliable and once it's set up, fairly easy to maintain. The web based, smartphone app, and desktop app options are all very useful depending on your style and needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connectivity is sometimes and issue. It can be slow, delayed, or even down at times depending how it's hosted and how much an organization's employees are using it at any given point in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily reporting of open work and task items, overall reporting of work performed for any given period of time. It helps me and the team stay updated and organized. Exporting reports to share or deliver automatically is great.
Very helpful project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is what my team and I use to keep on track of all our Marketing projects for all our brands. Staff can be in different locations and time zones, and come to our sheets and update the team or share content we are waiting on.
It is also helpful to have a project list that pulls from all the sheets with tasks you are assigned. This allows me and other staff to keep track across all sheets of what tasks we are assigned and what the deadlines are.

What do you dislike about the product?
Projects can get missed if you have teammates who are not using Smartsheet effectively. A feature I wish they had was push notifications to email that were automated to notify users when tasks are due. I know you can set up some notifications, but I would want them automated for those users who maybe don't know how to use Smartsheets that well, so stay out of it, or who use it but don't keep on top of their tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets solve our project management problem. This benefits our team when we have members out or who leave suddenly, someone else on the team can see those tasks and jump right in. This also helps with collaboration with our teams in other states.
Excellent live sharing tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is user-friendly and can also be used on mobiles and tablets. Vendors can still collaborate even if they are not included in our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some back-office aspects of the license administration and account disconnecting email addresses from one account to another has been a hassle. Thankfully, the team is resourceful and solution-oriented and has found patches to solve our issues. But they shouldn't have to find patches; maybe some programming revision could find a permanent solution for the transfer issue.

Keeping track of open items, of prospects and collating information from several team members into a single file.
I can easily create gantt charts for my projects in IT industry using smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to reuse previously created gantt charts as templates for other projects. Different options for sharing the created charts (access via link for everyone or restricted, etc.). Intuitive UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot block out the Holidays in the calendar when preparing the schedule for the project (or maybe I just don't know how to do it). I would like to see more distinctive graphics in the UI, cleaner UI. Some icons are not very straightforward and it is not clear right away what they mean.

Creating a high-level project schedule accessible to all project stakeholders. Maintaining internal company processes by creating templates that can be shared and reused by other team memebrs.
