Smartsheet has changed my life! We use it for project plans and it is extremely flexible.
What do you like best about the product?
The performance of the tool is fast. The ability to share with anyone is key for our business. We also quite regularly us the forms for internal surveys which is super handy. We also utilize the forms for client requests and can customize the form to meet the needs of each individual client. This has really helped our consultants with email inbox management when the customer does not have a formal tool to manage requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly think there is nothing I can say that I dislike. I have been using SmartSheet for years, and I use it for business and personal projects. I refer colleagues and friends to SmartSheet all of the time. I am your biggest cheerleader!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly create project plans and share with anyone without complicated permissions (like Sharepoint, Google Drive, etc.). The real-time updates are key for us in our business.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most useful is the easy-to-use (yet powerful) integration between the sheets, comments, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Competitive applications require a higher bar of skills to accomplish the same tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
When sending notifications via workflow, they will only come from the owner of the sheet instead of the option to use a service account (for automation).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to list various gift submissions, which in turn is worked by two different departments. As the department updates the status of the submissions, the results are displayed on a Smartsheet dashboard for everyone who needs to know the current status.
Great tool for Project Management, but also useful for any and all departments
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very useful for team collaboration and working towards a common goal. I like that it is cloud-based and "no-code," so real-time changes and upgrades to our process can happen as needed, rather than sending to a developer and waiting to hear back. The templates are also great for new users and people who may not immediately see their use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the administrative functions could be cleaned up. It can be challenging to change or add emails. It also does take some time to learn some of the Smartsheet specific details and formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives direction and focus to projects. Teamwork is more prominent and as team members use it more and more the functions are becoming easier and easier to accept and implement across the company.

the software is user friendly, and intuitive. As you use it, it becomes easier to undrstand and utilise the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with most software, you have to tinker with the layout at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping with project planning and review of action items across my project. This has helped me monitor statuses and i can meaure progress on an ongoing basis.
Great for project management, not great for hours tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to map out activities within a project, gives very clear and precise breakdowns of actions and timings associated with those actions / steps in the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wanted to build in the functionality to record and track hor / days spent on those activities too, which you can do by manually adding in a column. But the reporting functionality does not then support an option to pull out hours spent to date across a specific activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows us to accurately review where we are at within a project, and what needs to happen next. This helps us communicate better with our clients on expected delivery dates.
Great program that simplifies ALOT for our business
What do you like best about the product?
smartsheet is great for stock management for interstate warehouses providing up to date live information that excel for example just cannot do. Smartsheet has been an integral part of our processes
What do you dislike about the product?
there is honestly nothing to dislike about smartsheet, perhaps maybe some more indepth tutorials that can be accessed online without the need for online assistance or webinars?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
smartsheet has resolved many issues with our previous excel sheets as it is live, can be tailored into forms and allows our staff to work efficiently and clearly with each other

What do you like best about the product?
What i like most about Smartsheet , It's user friendly and easy to navigate. Very helpful in creating insightful reports that helps the user come up with good analysis when it comes to data.
What do you dislike about the product?
An opportunity to improve the basic features such as colors - an option to extend , expand or adjust the width of each rows. Also an option to rename headers if you use Pivot. And lastly, to not have a limit when linking multiple sheets for the report of the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we encountered that Smartsheet was able to solve is the real time collaboration when we want to review resources allocation for better analysis of capacity and availabilyt, in addition if we want to see the real time status of tickets we have. it can let you navigate and play around data without having an issue of ruining your dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
Convenience, user friendly, easy to access and share sheets without the attachments. Easy automation and features that make a report so much easier to work with
What do you dislike about the product?
Would prefer more tutorials or videos online or even a handbook with more details for more advanced modeling and reports. Finding a new way has proven to be difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The features are super easy to use and allocate the correct users to the task at hand, showing outstanding time frames. Excellent with working in a Team and collaboration.
I love smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me keep track of everything for all of the different deals I am working on in one place. It allows my teammates and I to stay organized and keep all of our files in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
People are more used to using excel so it is not as widely adopted by people in commercial real estate. I also wish there were more ways to filter files that are attached to a row.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of my different deals and tasks organized in a place for my teammates to easily access as well. I am more productive as a result. My business is much more organized.
Excellent tool for professional work
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Smartsheet is its adaptability through formulas and its dynamic formatting. These allow me to switch modes of work easily and cross-functionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing is the tendency for duplicated cells (when using the click and pull down to copy to all rows in a column) to add numbers sequentially. It is frustrating and unnecessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarthseet has helped our teams share information seamlessly and track work progress cross-functionally. We use it exclusively for all tracking needs. We have projects in decline that have been corrected with smartsheet filters and hierarchies.
