My everything app
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very versatile. No matter what is the nature of the project I am working on, I can use Smartsheet to plan and track every single step. It can be as detailed or high level as it needs to be, and very easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I particularly dislike about Smartsheet, it may not be as flashy as other applications but I think this is actually a good thing, i am not particularly interested any distracting visuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is very versatile, I can easily taylor my project plan to the deliverables and can store the relevant documentation/attachements and comments from stakeholders. Additionaly, the automation features mean that I don't need to prompt other users to complete their tasks on time.
It's A New Way of Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Depending on your demands, Smartsheet has many functions that are now accessible can be used in different ways. I can simply manage the teams who have access to the many data sets. Switching between the project's various stages is the accomplished via the card view and lanes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that annoys me is that the sites don't update in real-time.
I believe it still cannot link data from sources other than the Smartsheet workspace.
Additionally, there are restrictions on data visualization possibilities, and dealing with huge datasets occasionally results in performance problems.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot in tracking the status of applications for our company or in CRM. Thank's to it I've developed many semi-automated processes that are helpful in my job. I've been able to use the dashboard views both privately and publicly to confirm that projects are moving along according to schedule.
Easy and effective to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is so easy to share with people and easy to understand. It is very similar to excel which enables a wide range of people to use it. Should there be any issues the team at smartsheet are on hand to help and are very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
My collegues and I did experience multiple issues when swapping from our free account to when we got livcences. They were different account that we had to create with the same email when we would of expected our first account to just be upgraded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currenly involved in a large scale project which involves a lot of document control and sharing. Smartsheet allows us to have this all in one place which all parties can access whereas before we had issues with different organisations not being able to open links due to security

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the dashboard. We use to present our HR data to the Management Team and it looks great. It's very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a feature that I still would like to see in Smartsheet, I tried to create a calendar and link to Google, however, it only shows the date, and the time hasn't been populated. I had to create a manual alternative, but I would like to see this feature on Smartsheet if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The processes in general. It really helped us to improve our internal processed.
Smartsheet - the name says it all
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet as work management software and use it to manage around 600 live jobs at any one time. It has been great getting everything into one place where the whole team can collaborate and manage jobs. It's ability to be shared through reports with our tradespeople around the country has also improved our business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing unhelpful or that I dislike about Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we were unable to keep job information in one place, especially items which are now attachments in Smartsheet. The ability to get reminders when thresholds are met and the automation functions have been particularly useful. The dashboard function is also helpful as we now have an immediate snapshot of our performance and the status of all our live jobs.
Great web-based project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of function that is very good for project management without having to expend a lot of money for the specific software and the integration is fairly straight forward
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of editing setting that is hard to operate. It is suitable for web presentations, but final production is not very easy to change if you need to print a hard copy. Such as, the programme time frame can not be adjusted, so end up having to print countless pages of waste papers

Project and task management, monthly project reporting, cash flow and easy-to-share information to stakeholders.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the personnel reports cannot be executed automatically and a manual process needs to be done.

*Dashboard Design: I cannot create an outline around my graph.
*Chat: I'm not fond of the treads at all. Difficult to find a specific discussion by date or person.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarsheet allows us to view our project portfolio in a dashboard format. The dashboard features still need enhancements, such as the ability to create histogram charts and combo charts.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Smartsheet for tracking tasks and purchases for our company. It is a fantastic tool for keeping many duties organized and together in one easy form.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find the form function for sheets is very basic; there isnt many logic options to make jumps, and you cant integrate other apps, like you can with Jotform. If the form function was improved, I could see this app being utilized more in our company.

Our purchasing department has struggled in the past to keep all requests in one orderly file, Smartsheets has completely solidified their operations and made their work easy to maintain and accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a very helpful tool in organizing our team's information, providing visibility and prioritization in managing project workload, and generating dashboards to visualize our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the "card view" a lot and it would be helpful to be able to slide the cards to other locations in the view and easily move them by dragging and dropping. Minor tweak, but it would be easier to rearrange that way vs going into the card to change the data to move it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been the platform for our workload Intake process as well as workload and task management. We have created Executive Sponsor workload views as well and connected multiple Smartsheets to better link data and have overall visibility.
