Better than imagined.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy online access from anywhere. Can be easily modified and is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there is a way to format the sheets automatically so I do not need to insert a function to format the sheets. Right now I have a column indicator with numbers in sequential order and the rows change color ever other row if it is an odd number. Only problem is when the row moves to another sheet that function is broken and I have to reset the sequential numbering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to work remotely if needed and access information quickly. It has allowed us to get away from physical file folders. Smartsheet also keeps track of project progress limiting tasks that get overlooked or forgotten.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Smarsheets is it really modern features involving
1) Smartsheet's collaborative features, such as real-time updates, comments, and file attachments, which facilitate teamwork and communication.
2) I really like Flexibility and Customization that Smartsheet offers with a wide range of templates and the ability to create custom workflows and project structures to suit different business needs.
3) Its Project Management Capabilities is really efficient most times as it provides must have features like Gantt charts, task dependencies, and automated workflows.
4) As someone who started new, I was really impressed with the Smartsheet ease of use.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues with opening the MS office Project files with smartsheets and have found that dates and dependencies get changed sometimes. I think that is something that can be improved as most big organizations still use MS project and we mostly get those files shared with us . Thus that integration needed to be made more efficeint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is my tool to go to for project management work. I have had really easy time sharing this tool with colleages and teaching them and thus this is very easy to adapt.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows seamless process flows, real-time information access and sharing. Smartsheet enables us to manage our organizational needs in alignment with our internal strategy. Moreover, Smartsheet's simple structure, clean look and feel, and extreme flexibility in moving rows and columns make using it addictive and enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
That other people arent using it , everyone needs to know and use Smartsheet!

Data management , leads management , CRM functionalities, project management and holistic tracking.
Great User Friendly Platform

Sends automatic emails to users, can be used to remind users to complete a task on Smartsheet.

Only admin can change certain things on the sheets, so users need to ask people with admin rights to change things.

Operational project planning and data gathering
What do you like best about the product?
I like the offline form submissions and data gathering. In the past we used to work with whatsapp messages to gather information, and the manual typing to excell took hours. Now I send a form to my site supervisors, and their production is logged immediately. It saves hours of my day, and I have real-time production data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some downsides are that the offline form submissions do not always work, and if you have the pro plan, other people in your company without licenses can not eddid your sheets even if you change the permissions. They have to be granted licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management - I lose less time, and we are able to track exactly how long certain steps take. We use this info when we create new project proposals.
Data gathering - We use forms to gather real tome production data.
Safety task tracking - We use a deviation form to submit data and then we use the sheet to track the progress on the deviation actions.

Smartsheet - great tool for planning
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is quite intuitive, has nice layout (if you spend hours with a tool, it's important!), numerous functionalities and it's easy to use it (even for a person without Smartsheet experience). It allows to add a comment from email level (when a request is sent).
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks the functionality to copy entire row or column from one sheet to another. Also, when you use a template you've created, it would be useful to be able to add eg. a column to the template so that it would reflect straightaway in the sheets that were created based on that template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet enables to easily present the data in a shape of Dashboard, report (generally graphic way, which is desired for various presentations). It would be useful if the Dashboard could be exported to Power Point (and not only to pdf).

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Smartsheet is that it has a very friendly interface and is really easy to use. The fact that people used to use Excel and MS Project in their daily work can jump to Smartsheet and feel right at home is a huge plus, considering that Smartsheet has many advantages over the MS suit, like the possibility to use it without licenses and the collaboration features.
The flexibility of the tool is also a big advantage, considering that it can be used by small teams to improve their collaboration and tracking of activities, as well as in large deployments, like the one we are implementing in our organization, using advanced modules like Control Center.
The dashboards are a really good feature that work very well.
The automations are also a big feature of Smartsheet that set it apart from other tools.
I also like the fact that there is so much material online to learn how to use Smartsheet and get advanced on it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the main downside of Smartsheet is that the sheets lack some basic features that people coming from Excel are used to. I understand this helps keep the tool simple, but it can be frustrating at times.
I also think some premium modules are very lacking, like the fact that Dynamic View requires me to go on a different interface, and doesn't allow filtering dates. Smartsheet pivot app was underwhelming as well, so we decided to use Power BI for complex calculations with information stored in Smartsheet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are two main problems Smartsheet is solving for us. First, it is allowing us to have a single source of truth, by having a single sheet with all information and several different reports for each stakeholder. Before we used to have many different Excels, and very often it was hard to keep track of which one was the latest one with the official information. With Smartsheet that probelm is solved.
The second big problem it is solving is the time lost on processing information. With Smartsheet automations and Control Center, we can make information flow and connect in a much more streamlined way.
With Smartsheet we can garantee the integrity of our data, we can work collaboratively on it, and we save time on tedious and error prone tasks.

Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides the tools to manage projects in a way that best suits your company needs. There are many template sets to help start you off. The automation that you can add to your sheets, helps to ensure that tasks and documents are completed in good time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to using SmartSheet is that we could not immediately link it to our CRM sytem and had to use Zapier to link the two. We found there were some limitations, of SmartSheet capabilities, when trying to set up the required workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet has allowed us to create an online customer form, that feeds directly into a sheet. The information from the customer can then be assessed by different departments. We have set up automation, to ensure the right department is notified for their input, when required.

I appreciate the card function as it helps users and myself to visualise tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
To my opinion Smartsheet must work more on its formula builder flexibility, especially the logic functionality, it has an amazing potential which can make smartsheet one of the best data collection tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Smartsheet we are alble to manage multi-regional processes with a matter of one click, all of the neverending emails and excels are gone.
