Great tool for PM/ Reporting and Creating Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Creating Dashboards and creating project plan. its so easy to create the dashboards using the project plans and managing the risk and issues.
We have been using this to showcase it to our ledership team and it makes our job so easy.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have the resource management feature on smartsheet as well. We dont dislike smartsheet but we want more and more feature like time management and resource management in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use of standardization in project planning and program management. we have come to a point where we follow the same pre defined templates and makes it easy to use across the company. The Dashboards creation and usage is a plus and must have for our team so it makes our job easy in doing that to show it to leadership.
Smartsheet Review: Awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a beneficial tool to our organization. I use multiple features of the product for both internal and customer activities. For customers, we use it for tracking project progress and assigning tasks. For internal purposes, I use the dashboard views to track the status of multiple customers, metrics and data points. Smartsheet has allowed me to access many customer details in a single place. I also leverage features for various initiatives, including forms that trigger automation emails and card views for workforce management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only area of Smartsheet that I would like to see improved is its filtering capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves many problems, including project tracking, workforce, and workflow management. The forms and auto-emails have solved many problems. The card views help with work management. The dashboards make a nice executive view on customer accounts.
Good platform for tracking data
What do you like best about the product?
It is helptul the fact that you can track different data and do different reports that helps you overview the business.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be easier to do stacked charts. It is a bit tedous to do them at the moment - maybe developping an easier way of doing these would be appreciated by everybody using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a data base of all projects completed and in schedule that we can rely on. Everybody on our company is integrated in the smartsheet so it is a perfect platform for workflow collaboration: from marketing to accounting and invoicing the final product to the client.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet offers transparency in planning facilitating a team working environment. This is supported by omitting the requirement to have a license by viewers and editors. Only those creating or administrating sheets require licenses. The automated features of the software also enable the Project Manager or users to step back from continuous monitoring and allow them do those activities required and captured by the plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does not have a successor column . Only a predecessor column. Connectivity to third party APIs also requires some more technical knowledge and whilst not impossible, it could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves transparency. Everyone can access without involving the administrator to any great extent.
The ability to interconnect multiple complicated timelines. Whilst the latter is possible in MS Project, the size of the individual plans in MS Projects and number of connections causes the MS Project to lag.
Automation. I have more time to manage projects rather than show timelines and ensure those that can't see know what those timelines are.

Great software once you learn how to use it
What do you like best about the product?
Really versatile, and once you learn how to use it it can be really helpful. In particular, the reminder function on sheets is really helpful. Being able to create and customise dashboards for different teams, or individual employees is also a great way to have all the information, spreadsheets and links all in one place. Having the same live spreadsheet on each dashboard is great, and creating forms attached to those spreadsheets for cleaner data entry is a godsend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big learning curve. It can do so much, but it's a lot of trial and error to learn how to use it. There are some features that don't quite make sense, for example in sheets, the first column is the 'Primary Column' and can't be edited much or removed, it can be annoying at times. I also think there should be more instructional videos that show you how to use the basics of smartsheets in a more engaging and user-friendly way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collating all the information we need in one place. We went from having 10+ spreadsheets open in tabs, to having everything in one page. It saves time, and allows us to spend more time on more important tasks.
Smartsheet takes the cake in making project management a walk in the park
What do you like best about the product?
The big deal with Smartsheet is the bunch of ready-to-go templates for all kinds of projects. These templates are like a fast track to getting things moving, and they make everything look sharp and pro.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pop-ups in Smartsheet can go overboard and you can’t tweak them much. This can make your inbox explode with stuff you don’t need, and it’s hard to tell what’s big news and what’s small fry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a fixer for the headaches of juggling tricky projects. With stuff like Gantt charts and looking at the big picture, it keeps projects on the straight and narrow. And, by handling the boring stuff, it lets your team zero in on the main gig, making everyone work smarter.
Easier group communication with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I love the streamlined user experience and powerful productivity features that Smartsheet offers. It is incredibly easy to design data collection forms, which is much faster than other approaches. In addition, using Smartsheet to manage projects helps keep everyone in production and graphics connected to current initiatives. This also allows our Matrix Grid system of workflow processes to reach higher levels of reliability while promoting interactive collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how Smartsheet doesn't allow users to retrieve and modify instructions for templates. This lack of customisation caused considerable extra effort in editing the PMO template - forcing me to develop my own guidelines while documenting deviations from standard procedure. Having easy access to updated versions would have been a huge help in this instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from Smartsheet because it's easy to work together on it. Everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities, while all the relevant information we need to work efficiently is in one place that's accessible to everyone.
Great for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
This product combines multiple useful solutions that otherwise would be usually available from multiple different vendor solutions. For example smartsheet allows the user to turn spreadsheets into workflows by connecting multiple sheets, however it also allows the user to create forms. It is also user-freindly enough that users that are not so data-oriented or spreadsheet wizards can use it. Case in point, I have seen Operations departments use this as well as Marketing departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with saleforce has a cost on top of the cost for the user license, which is a major factor for whoever works across departments and wants to work with another department that use Salesforce. In addition to the cost itself, this leads to additional red tape to be faced within most large companies that then naturally treat consideration of this add-on as a seperate procurement process facing the same rigourous business case proposals and security certificate checks. These kind of hurdles make it easier to lean toward something that is more easily linked to Salesforce, like Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a project requires multiple stakeholders to come together on a single platform to access data and make necessary updates as the project progresses. This software solves this problem in a good way by making it easy for non-regular users of the software to be able to access and use.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a powerhouse for organizing and managing tasks. Its templates and forms make it seamless to start new projects, and its notification system ensures that the team stays informed about updates. The file sharing capabilities are also commendable, making it easy to collaborate and communicate within the project context.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet could do with more varied and customizable templates. Sometimes, the existing templates don't quite fit the project needs. Additionally, though the sheet-based layout is generally beneficial, it can be less effective when dealing with non-tabular data or more creative project planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes sure everyone’s looped in and moving in sync on projects. Alerts and file-sharing mean no one’s left in the dark, and everyone gets what they need. It also makes dishing out tasks and keeping tabs on them a cinch, so things get done faster and nothing’s late.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very good for project plans and easy to share with colleagues. I like that you can set email reminders and create a portal to collect all of the sheets together in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish that it had tabs. While Smartsheet does allow you to share sheets with those without an account, sharing multiple sheets can be confusing. Even if I could export several sheets into one Excel file, it would be a great feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project plans work well. We love the form feature. We love the automation flows available. It is extremely easy to share with a large group.
