Best tool to manage proyects
What do you like best about the product?
It is a wonderful tool for me that I need to manage several projects at the same time, it has the right templates to start working quickly or if you already have a little experience using the platform you can customize it practically as you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found some limitations when creating tables as a database or the way to store the information from the forms, it would be great if some rules or conditions could be added to the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The opportunity to have a platform where all your colleagues can be informed in real time with notifications about changes made in projects and the facility to share information, also helps me manage inventories and work orders in a laboratory that I manage.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation workflows it offers, reports and dashboards are the best features. I also like how simple and neat the layout of the sheet is. Organising folders in workspaces is perfectly designed for a user to locate a file quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet Pivot tables are not intuitive; I wish there were a better solution for pivots. Also, copying automation workflows from one file to another is a big issue, especially when you have many sheets and cannot afford to buy different features like command centre etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving many significant problems for my team. I work in Sales Finance team, and we have put our end-to-end process of goal collection, employee roster management etc, on Smartsheet. We also extensively use the automation workflows to collect information related to new hires, any change in quotas etc., which was previously conducted over emails and was not an efficient process at all. With emails, you would miss responding, tracking progress etc. This was causing many issues among the sales people; hence, with effective use of the Update Requests and Alerts workflow, we could eliminate all of the mentioned risks.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to combine two sides of the business and show transparency and accountability between the two

I've used Monday.com and although it looks more visually appeasing smart sheets I feel does things a whole lot better

I wish the reports and the dashboard were a little bit more dynamic
As of current you have to build them for what you want and then manually edit

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently in the sales organization we use it as a prospect tracker for our pipeline
Once it is hit a status of sold and submitted to scheduling everything on the prospect sheet turns over into the operations new tracker sheet

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to nest lines under categories. the options are endless for how to make things look and feel
What do you dislike about the product?
How quickly you can become overwhelmed with all the data that can be added to a Smartsheet. But it can be mitigated with some of the features that I am not all familiar with

gives us a place to share and collaborate with more options than just a simple spread sheet
Not sure how to get most out of it if you are not an IT person

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's cloud-based, so I can easily access live data at anytime, see cell history and activity log, much better than excel or Google sheets

Hard to get assistance with certain areas, system can be slow and not work at times, and sometimes has frustrating limitations

What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet to set up new vendors by collating information from our suppliers and internal teams. The form is a starting point to get the information and then use the automations that are easy for anyone to use and create a process from start to end with little to no manual intervention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The emails sent in automation do not allow for formatting (ie bolding or highlighting etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To set up Vendors in our system by getting them to submit a form and then using the automations our internal teams are sent updates to complete or approve so all the right information is received by the team entering the information in.

Fantastic integration with any projects using aesthetic dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is fantastic for integrating OneDrive through the Data Shuttle. It's seamless and easy to keep track of projects, timelines, and who is taking care of which projects. I also love that with the intensity of some of the data sheets, we can easily create dashboards for easy viewing without everyone looking at the "messy" data section. The reports are very handy for people who need a quick glance at what the data is showing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can definitely be high when trying to figure out the best layouts for dashboards. Smartsheet academy is very great at teaching new users, but it can definitely be daunting to see that so many sheets/reports have to be created for each dashboard entity. Luckily, the templates are extremely useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The data shuttle allows us to automatically upload new data when it arrives. I'm able to be more productive and focus on other tasks rather than just mundane data entry. I have decreased the amount of time needed to double check data entires because it's automatically entered in.
