Using Smartsheet to streamline employee monitoring and data collection.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet helps me streamline complex project management tasks. Its intuitive design and automated processes have enabled my team to quickly start working on our projects, from identifying all relevant stakeholders to planning delivery schedules and tracking progress. Customizable data visualizations allow us to easily monitor the current status of any task or assignment in real time, and easy document sharing features facilitate quick communication between team members, which speeds up decision-making and improves overall productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the lack of integration and customization options in Smartsheet particularly frustrating. The ability to create reports, charts and tables is severely limited compared to other dedicated programs. In addition, designing dashboards in a visually appealing way can often be a challenge due to the cumbersome workarounds that are required.

What do you like best about the product?
Its intuitive interface, which makes it easy for users to navigate and customize their workspace according to their needs. It also offers a variety of automation features, such as alerts, reminders, and workflow automation, to streamline processes and maximize.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited reporting capabilities compared to other project management tools. While it offers basic reporting features, such as creating visual charts and graphs, it may not have advanced reporting options or advanced analytics capabilities.

All in One Tool that Keeps you Organized
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool to keep database-type information organized in one place. You can utilize it to keep track of pertinent information as well as use it to send out emails for you.
Whenever specific data sets do not come back to us in time, Smartsheet will send an email reminder to those necessary parties we have previously set up.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a dislike but like any other database you may have, it is very time-consuming to set up your preferences to how the smartsheet needs to look and run.
Patience is a virtue in the initial set-up. But once you have set all your parameters, it is golden.
The only current drawback is not having a data dump where all cleared data can be moved.
For example, I've received an audit back and all disputes have been reviewed and approved. The data set will remain, thus creating a large database that you constantly have to filter through to find the new data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us keep all of our various audit information in one place instead of in several Excel spreadsheets we previously used. Once the Smartsheet is set to how we would like it to function, it assists with repetitive emails that we used to send manually. Staffing changes are a given, so having all of our data in one place, along with email templates, assists with easier training bases for new staff.

Compared to dedicated spreadsheet software, Smartsheet has relatively limited formatting options. Users may find it challenging to customize the appearance of sheets or implement advanced formatting features.

This eliminates the need for disparate tools and spreadsheets, streamlining project coordination and improving overall efficiency. As a result, users can easily track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion.
Very easy to learn, adopt & use
What do you like best about the product?
It has many functionalities to build reports, workflow automation & many features that are very helpful to the day-to-day project activities. It helps the team to collaborate much better than any other tool
What do you dislike about the product?
I like all the features in Smartsheet, but if there were an option to automate the delivery of the dashboard link or in PDF via email, that would be of great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Smartsheet has a perfect and easy way to build and maintain the Project Schedule, Automate the approval Workflows, build reports & Dashboards and also assign & track the tasks in a structured manner.
A Simple, intuitive tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
In minutes I can have a fully functioning tracker, dashboard, meeting minutes repository that is accessible to the whole team. It is cleaner and easier and more practical than excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations around the dashboard that Power Bi does not have. Smartsheets biggest competitor when it comes to data analysis and visuals would be Power BI and unfortunately that software is easier to filter and customise the data visuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of finding data. Previously the team would create their own trackers, their own tools, Smartsheet has allowed standardisation across teams within the same department as well as across departments in other countries.

What do you like best about the product?
I found Smartsheet did an excellent job of facilitating communication and collaboration within the team. Its alert and reminder system is a handy feature, ensuring that everyone stays on top of their tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is flexible in terms of its applications, it offers limited options for aesthetic customization. Would like to see more ability t customise the visual appearance of sheet and dashboards.

Smartsheet's familiar, spreadsheet-like interface makes it easy to navigate, even for those with minimal technical knowledge in our team.
A simple to use and highly customizable system
What do you like best about the product?
Its highly customisable, and incorporates similar layouts to excel spreadsheets which I'm very familiar with. This made learning how to use the program very simple and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When navigating between folders, reports and sheets, it would be helpful to have a back button that allowed to go back to previous file or folder you were in, instead of using the web-browser back button.

It allows for a one central location to manage projects, tasks and workflows that is easily accessible by any member of the team. It also acts as a single document retention and storage system for all project documents, including attachments.

It is user-friendly and can hold a large amount of data. Easy to log in and share work with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is confusing to switch between worksheets or products. Would love live alerts to the phone app dependent on priority.

It is allowing my team to have things automatically assigned to them and keeping our activities organized. Everyone knows who is working on what. Performance has increased through this organization and we can account for all activities carried out.
