Feedback on Smartsheet as per my usage in Project Manager Role
What do you like best about the product?
Below are few things I like about the smartsheet:
1 - The first thing is login to smartsheet is easy and user inferface is quite friendly, default colors are eyecatching and it is very optimized.
2 - It is a great Project management tool that provided efficiency in my job.
3 - It saves a lot of time in day to day activities as I don't need to save different sheets anymore and everything is on cloud/web.
4- Sharing the data and reports with clients has become super easy and no need to exchange multiple emails in day with each time either client/me is making a change in sheet.
5 - Automation and notification has taken the convenience level to next heights with smartsheet.
Over all it is a great tool to do work and also keep that work shared on real time basis with others with viewing rigths only so no one can mess up intentionally or accidentally.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily used it for project management and in that I used to share a lot of excel with the clients. With each amendment either by a client I end up having a lot of exchange over the emails and lot of extra files which is confusing at times.

It'll be better Accountability, we can increase the transparency and also we can make teams more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
As per my view there is no back point towards the smartsheet, may be times if there might be issues when more people are using.

It is showing us the transperancy and accountability between the team members.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation capability is incredible. It is easy to use, very powerful and accurate. It is similar to Excel but has other very interesting features: attaching documents to cells, real-time edits, internet communications and more.
The technical support has also been excellent, even if they mainly reply via email.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions are more complicated than necessary. Calculating dates is tedious, plus time calculations are unavailable or unknown to me. It needs improvement in this aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is our automation tool. We use it because it is very convenient and adapts to our needs. In addition, it covers several of our internal processes. After having perfected this system, manual intervention in these processes is minimal. It frees up a lot of time and saves us effort.

Smartsheet is Good For Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to customize our tracking spreadsheets so that they make the most sense to our team and communicate clearly at a glance. I also like the ability to send form responses directly into a shared smartsheet that can be added onto from both the form and the spreadsheet view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a lot of functionality, but learning to use it fully is hard to do when you don't have time to dedicate to it. You can learn the intitial functions quickly and easily to get use out of the product, but there is a time investment to learning it in full that is difficult for most busy employees to devote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us keep track of participant progress through the application and pre-departure cycle in a visually clear way. We also use smartsheet to keep track of information related to 20+ different programs throughout the year. When we need to collaborate on a project as a team, we generally will use some function in Smartsheet to do it.
Building trackers for Implementation Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use, very easy to set up a fairly complicated tracker within a very short time. Many of the built in features like contact columns work very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being so easy to use does not allow for some more complicated features, I have had a few ideas that have not been possible to implement due to lack of functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Smartsheets to track the implementation of over 50 large multi family properties each month into our automated Billing System, the collaboration smartsheets enables is perfect for our implementations team to track the progress of each property.
Smartsheet is just a smart excel sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Some smart portion that you need typically to program on Excel BI to generate functions similar to Google Gorm. There is also a database that you can collect the submitted documents, e.g., BOM, Delivery Order, Pick Ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything still needs to be maintained manually, especially when checking and changing the status of certain projects. It seems like it is a Excel sheet with fancy functions, but not really interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used SmartSheet like a Google Form that we can collect all tasks information and read in an Excel-like page. It's good to consolidate all information, but it is also time-consuming to read thousands of different line and change status manually
Easy to learn and use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations and dashboards. Dashboards are straightforward to set up if your data is inputted correctly and accurately. The Smartsheet forms are also a good tool for collecting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like everything, nothing is perfect. More options in Generate Document would be helpful. Possibly integrate that with the Smartsheet forms. Also more signing options would be good like Adobe Sign integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us record and track data for our department. It helps me organize data and present it in a Dashboard form for my peers to see in real time. It also helps us go digital and cut down on paper.
