Smartsheet has been helpful tool for tracking of productivity and team contribution
What do you like best about the product?
It is a versatile, innovative and quiet powerful tool to be used.The self-help training content is available all the time which can be acuired whenever there is a need. The smartsheet community is helpful. This is evident from the way how they are all the time available to answer a query.
What do you dislike about the product?
The clunky formulae are bit frustrating when it comes to making a personal dashboard.It makes the user lose track of the feeders which later bring more problems sincethey break easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For collaborative projects, the smartsheet helps in taking track of the teamwork. It is easier to manage the teams and the roles assigned to them.To keep everything alligned like orders, work flow, marketing and inventory along with product is all frontlined.

Smartsheet is great for working on projects. It helps to keep everything organized and is famous for managing work well. It's super useful for lining up everything you need for a project, like important dates and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
A minor downside to Smartsheet is the lack of more advanced features like Gantt charts in the basic package. For businesses needing these features, it requires an upgrade, which may not be preferable for all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is instrumental in promoting team collaboration and communication, which often pose a challenge in large projects. With its powerful sharing and real-time updating features, it fosters better coordination and eliminates the risk of information silos.
Very useful as an open platform for work functionality

The openess for the whole organisation to share, review and collate date.
What do you dislike about the product?
date and time changes, it would be VERY useful if all users within an organisation had the same date formatting structures. It always changes our reports.
Also, refresh rates to be turned on/off by an admin user for all other users for a particular dashboard.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
allowing to graphically illustrate metrics on a dashboard. we have a whole host of dashboards connected to each other.
Does the job but can be overly complicated with limitations on simple commands
What do you like best about the product?
One location for data entry, version control means less room for error.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sheets are often controlled by one or two users, with limitations placed on more general users that dont make sense. There is an inability to sort/filter by date, for instance. The system just feels a little clunky compared to excel and sharepoint, these things have been around for a long time so it doesnt make sense to me that functional and established norms (like being able to sort by date) are not available as a base functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple users can access project tracking. I can see everything in one place and multiple reports can feed into and out of each other.

I like how it's made project planning easier. Everyone knows when deadlines are, and it's easy to see the knock on effect of delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there's anyting I dislike about smartsheets, but I think there's some additional features that would make it perfect and equivalent to Excel. For instance I'd like to be able to filter a column and have only the filtered data summed. Currently I don't think there's a way to do this.
Overall I think Smartsheets is really easy to learn and there's always opportunity to reach out to the team and upskill.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves scheduling for the team and assignment of tasks. This makes everyone on the team aware of the status of a project at a glance. You can also pull a report on upcoming dates for tasks assigned to you so you know what to prioritise. We also use it as a workflow management tool so the whole team know what steps are next in the project schedule and how long each step will take.

Having viibility to create charts and that coud have been easy

What do you like best about the product?
I am a fan of the formatting. It's similarity to excel with the collaberative abilities has been a value to my organization. I have used it to reach across service lines to track data that had formerly been managed in multiple places. It's abilitiy to provide simple dashboards or feed into a more substantial BI tool has been a fantastic aid in sharing detail with our client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see some additional formula functionality and also the automated workflows could use a bit of improvement. Sometimes they feel a bit clunky and take a bit to finally hit your target.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is providing a user friendly, workspace where collaberation is made simple. The ability to share with non licensed users and have them contribute data makes this a true value-add.
Smartsheet is the hammer for most of my admin / business process / project management needs
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly powerful and versitile while remaining easy to learn and use. I really appreciate how much "self help" training content is available and how generous the Smartsheet community is in sharing solutions. When I face a need I can't resolve, about 99% of the time I'm able to find the answer thanks to the generosity of the smartsheeet community. I'm able to make incredible dashboards, surveys, etc. quickly - ROI is always huge when I use Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formulas can be a bit clunky. I typically need to create a bunch of "helper" assets in order to create dashboards - then I sometimes lose track of the "feeders" that make my dashboards work and they break easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects and ensuring we have up to date information on all rows. Really appreciate how easy it is to create automated notifications and requests for updates so no one has to manually keep track of dates.
A significant turning point occurred thanks to Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is excellent at gathering information. It can then process it to generate easy-to-read objective charts to present to superiors. Best of all, the software does it automatically. All I need to do is set everything up beforehand.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, setting up Smartsheet is complicated. Also, the algorithm for montoring is complex, so a small error means that the information is not recorded correctly.

Smartsheet is helpful for us in several processes:
1. Reporting of the situation. Periodically we deliver relevant information to superiors in a nice format.
2. Workflow control. It is easy to manage the resources available to carry out pending tasks.
3. Information gathering. In Smartsheet, wen can store important documents in an accessible place.

Saving time, improving collaboration with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to learn and use, has so many different ways it can be applied. Our team is saving so much time because we are no longer doing things manually and our communication and collabortaion has increased exponentially.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not too much that I dislike. though I wish there were more design options on dashboards and that charts and graphs were more straightforward to create and edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped us collaborate better within and across teams. We've increased efficiencies using workflows and other features, and everyone's level of understanding of projects has increased with the visibility they have gained.
