Very handy tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use. All online and changes are directly visible for other users.
Attaching documents or mails to a row or a shtee is a very valuable function. Allows you to track processes.
Also usable via app on mobile.
Workflows behind sheets make life easy. Using forms for controled input from users instead of them going into you sheet and messing things up.

What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting cells/rows is limited. Excel can do much more on this level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work international and as Smartsheet is online and you only need a browser makes it easy to get access, even on a mobile.
It's a nice combinvation between Excel and MS Project. We can do manage complex projects in Smartsheet, much easier than within project.

Smartsheet has been fantastic, I would highly recommend it.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is such a helpful tool. Coming from Excel, the amount of features and automation is absolutely fascinating. This tool is very helpful in a business and personal environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is fantastic in many ways, the only thing that isn't fantastic is the lack of some small features, which may not be needed by every user. However, these are easily fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use this software for our consultancy agency to digitalise data, and easily produce this data to releveant stakeholders. It has been fantastic in visualisation and organisation.

What do you like best about the product?
an incredibly powerful tool to manage your work, smartsheet provides answers to queries when the user cannot identify them. To make and maintain a proper dashboard, surveys and to check on daily activity, smartsheet is the best.

Some improvement needs to be done in the following areas;
1. It is a bit time-consuming,
2. Costly, a little pricey,
3. The activity log is limited,
4. The learning curve is a little tricky.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to manage the project details, blueprints, clients, and self-portfolio, smartsheet is a great e-source. A lot of Excel sheets are to be shared with clients for which this digital manager is wonderful.

What do you like best about the product?
Never have to worry about saving the document or Software crashing. The project plans are available at all times from any computer that is connected to the internet. In addition, the team members can view changes in live view without disrupting the workflow. Lastly, connecting multiple sheets with referencing them helps to navigate through multiple project programs in a faster and more efficient way
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard creations are very tedious. There is no resource requirement or management tracking tool incorporated like other platforms. Would like to see a feature for quickly calculating the resource requirements

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. I can think through and build at the same time. I love the way my ideas get organized, not just for me but for sharing purposes. Easy to read, easy to follow. Easy to incorporate on one row comments, attachments, and more. I like Smartsheet 100% more than Google sheets or Excel
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have multiple worksheets inside one file. I can not do that now. It is only one space. I would like to link the main sheet to other sheets in the file for additional or complementary info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to work collaboratively in a project in asynchronous mode. We don't have to be in the same room at the same time to discuss the project or brainstorm ideas. We can contribute at our own pace, and we can see each other contributions.

Easy and Collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration in between project members is very effective. Also the feature to link activities in between different smartsheet plans allow for a great program level management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even those I like the link feature in between different plans, it is a little bit overwhelming that we have to link cell by cell. There should be a feature to link the entire row/activity at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in my organization to manage IT programs and projects, sharing tasks in a collaborative way amongst users all over the globe.
Utilizing Smartsheet in Pediatric Healthcare
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has provided a space for multiple stakeholder from multiple departments to work in collaboration in order to understand the root cause of a given situation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet permissions can be a bit confusing at times. Licensed versus Non-Licensed, Viewer, Editor, Admin, Owner, Publish versus not to publish, there's a lot of options to choose from to provide different levels of access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization I work is is known to have silos that fostered a very 'non-transparent' view of the ongoing work. With the advent of Smartsheet, we have solved this problem by providing a substantially more transparent view of ongoing work throughout the organization leading to the breaking down of these silos.
Steep learning curve, but so useful once you know how to use it!
What do you like best about the product?
We largely use Smartsheet to help track and manage our recruiting and hiring, as well as new employee onboarding. I love the automated workflows to help keep me on track and send me reminders about next steps in our hiring process. This was especially helpful for me as a new HR employee to stay organized while learning the employee lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a very steep learning curve for first-time users. The person who was largely responsible for setting up our dashboards, workflows, and forms on Smartsheet is no longer with the company, so for a long time we didn't have anyone that really knew how to create, edit, or troubleshoot anything in Smartsheet. We have since had a meeting with a Smartsheet representative who helped point us in the right direction, but I think having a dedicated account representative that frequently checks in/makes themselves known would have saved a lot of frustration. I am starting to feel comfortable using basic tasks and features, but would like more advanced training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of the HR department, Smartsheet keeeps everything in one centralized place. We can more easily track recruiting, hiring, and employee onboarding. Since the entire HR team has access to these dashboards and workflows, we are all on the same page about when a new hire is starting, what documents they still need, what technology needs to be set up, etc. I also use Smartsheet to help manage payroll, such as expense reimbursements and on-call bonus payments. Again, it is very helpful for keeping all of these payroll items in a centralized area for easy tracking and reporting.
Great if you need a robust Project Management tool, but most don't need that
What do you like best about the product?
Really robust, lets you create a ton of formulas to help automate your work for you. Multi faceted, can be a replacement for Excel while also being a great project management tool
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many bells and whistles and it can be really diffucult to complete simple tasks. This may partly be how my company has it set up, but I think it also shows that we could use a simpler tool instead - so if you're looking for something that provides more of a simple check list, there are vetter tools out there.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ability to share amongsts colleges. Connecting multiple sheets and trackers all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The copy and paste functions are limited to 500 rows. The drag functions which help to avoid this are slow.

Allowing us to have all of our dat a in one place and reviews completed with multiple people having control of the daya to day.
