What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Smartsheet is the excel like functionality but with the ability to make comments and assign tasks to people. Also the ability to intergrate with other software like adobe and teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to access more of the functionality and I would like for the certifications to be free. I would also like to see more of how other companies have implamented Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using smartsheet as a PLM for more of product development and product management. I would like to see more features that could assist within companies that develop physical products.
Nice platform that adds a lot of convenience to a spreadsheet tool, but price won't be for everyone.
What do you like best about the product?
The reports function is very quick and useful right out of the box. Takes spreadsheets to the next level with very little time on task developing tools. Trying to set up the same sort of system in house would be a monumental task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the functionality was a little more open-ended, with fewer constraints on how you can use the data. In this way, open platform spreadsheets are sometimes more useful. It's a trade off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling. Our production manager uses it every day to develope and track production schedules for 7 field teams and dozens of projects. The detail he can put into them and the connectivity to reporting features save a lot of time and give us great insights into our production team.

Smartsheet offers a comprehensive suite of project management tools that cater to various needs. Whether it's task tracking, Gantt charts, resource allocation, or reporting, the software covers it all. The flexibility to customize sheets and workflows to suit our specific projects has been very helpful, allowing us to tailor the platform precisely to our requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest criticism of Smartsheet is the pricing structure. I work for a university where the cost of a license more than doubled, causing many people to look for another solution...which drove the price even higher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to create task lists, set deadlines, and establish dependencies, making it easier to monitor progress and identify potential roadblocks. The Gantt chart view provides a visual representation of project timelines, helping our clients to stay on schedule, identify bottlenecks, and allocate resources effectively. This leads to better project planning and more accurate project execution.

-Internet depencency: while it's collaboration tools are excellent, in a critical situation the internet dependencies to view and edit files might cause problems to the organization. Also some server downtimes.
-Learning curve: although it's user-friendly, some individuals might still find a learning curve when using SmartSheet, particularly if they're not accustomed to similar spreadsheet-based tools.

Smartsheet gives good insight of the project overall. Help to collaborate with people easily from different teams.Smartsheet also help you reduce usage of other tools like Excel for few tasks.

I love the fact that I can share all my orders with my colleagues and that I can replace excel with smartsheet.
Another thing that I love about smartsheet is the fact that I can keep track of my billing with ease.

Formulas sometimes feel awkward. I constantly need to access some assitance in order to create dashboard.

frequent freezes and occasional outages which stop us for working if you use it exclusively

What do you like best about the product?
The best features are the automated workflows, reports, and dashboards it provides. I also appreciate how the sheet's layout is uncomplicated and organized. Workspace organization makes it simple for a user to find a file quickly.

The only thing that I dislike about Smartsheet is the fact that you can't use it with Microsoft Excel at it full potential.
