Good software for team and time management but with limited file exporting capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's ability to graphically present a schedule regarding designated task is very useful when team managing as well as each individual's time for said task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since smartsheet is limited in its graphs utilized in reporting data, I have had a few issues trying to export the data to other software like PowerBI in order to present this info ina more dynamic presentation. Mainly because in regards to this last point, PowerBI has Smartsheet beaten.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When certain tasks requiere input or comments from other people, it simplifies the way we can store these comments and have a more intuitive way of organizing these comments. Having it all digitally registered has saved us from various meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to track the progress of my team on various projects and able to track specific elements of progress like start and end dates, internal and external project stakeholders, current sub-task in progress, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
My work with Smartsheets was limited to itemising the steps in and tracking the progress of various projects in the team. I could not intuitively figure any extra features or data aggregation features which pulled me to integrate my workflow even more with Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can get a bit challenging to effectively track and analyse all of your team's manpower and it's results, which then makes prioritizaion and strategising very arbitrary. Smartsheets helped me to objectively track important elements of all taska and projects my team was doing and analyse the value added by each of them.
Smartsheet is the best app for Supervisors/Managers
What do you like best about the product?
With the help of smartsheet, I can do resource allocation more efficient. I can assign tasks and projects to my employees, and track their time and goals, as well as their notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface can look a little confusing when mixing a lot of sheets, reports and formulas. To people that are not very tech-save, may need extra tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can deal better with my work as a supervisor, it helps solving resource allocation and task managing towards reaching the team's goals. Also, it helps me remember my personal work duties.
One Stop Shop
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has so many different tools and features, it enables me to accomplish most of my needs in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are basic and don't always allow me to display my data the way I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to gather data and share the results easily with other stakeholders. It also provides a space for me to create resource libraries.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the whole tool, most importantly the connection among the activities' dependencies (automatic updates of the starting dates, also the ending dates based on the duration). I also like the different conditions formatting that I can create based on different criteria and this is very helpful to quick spot any issue or concern.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I haven't faced any situation withou a solution in the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned previously. It's easy to create activities and their dependencies. It helps to quickly see the end of the project as well to easily spot any issue based on the "condition formatting" option.

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I are using Smartsheet to better manage our company’s project plan. This tool is simple and user-friendly in creating project timeline and progress report for top management presentation. It has resource assignment and it keeps track of our progress. My overall experience using Smartsheet is really great, and make me productive in handling project scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Printing Smartsheet in pdf or other document format does not show the project legends. It will be helpful if Smartsheet can provide the legends such as Project summary, task, progress, critical path, slippage, milestone, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides us the critical path and over-all view of the project timeline. It foresee important task and sub task to me monitored. This result to less delayed and on-time completion of our projects.
Easy for tracking team's daily items
What do you like best about the product?
With Smartsheet you will finf it more convenient to track the items plugged by all team members and to follow up with status of items in different logs. Simply make differnet folders and word and Excel files and enjoy the simple tracking journy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsize that I can think of is that you can't modify Vacation Planer in calendar view but it is no big deal cause the calendar view will update as soon as you modify the grid view.

Makes it easy to log in items in different logs and track them daily.

What do you like best about the product?
I've enjoyed the easy customization of Smartsheet and the ability to create not only powerful data storage solutions, but the simplicity of turning that data into useful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet offers a wide array of user access which is key for sensitive information across departments. However, through the years of using Smartsheet, I've observed the tightening of access for general users. It is not to the point of requiring additional user access, but it does cause for annoyance when an end user is not able to create their own filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the ease of use and limited costs of Smartsheets, I am able to tackle a wide array of internal business concerns. As a part of a maturing company, we gererally need to create our own solutions for various day-to-day problems. One issue my team was poised with was balancing work loads and keeping communications funnels organized. Using Smartsheet as a tool for the group we are able to capitalize on the automation and form entries to create a simple ticketing system for external business groups to report their needs to my team, and in turn the results of each ticket get communicated out to the original requestor.
Great for collaboration but wish there were more features
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to be able to track tasks, have multiple people work on the same sheet simeltaneously, and keep projects organized. It has also helped our team with managing deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small things such as not being able to have one word in a cell bolded rather than the whole cell. It would also help if people without paid accounts could hide or unhide rows or create filters. The permissions can also be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped me maintain an overall understanding of where we are on projects and the time it takes to accomplish certain tasks. It also has provided a way for our team to work collaboratively on work plans to make sure everything is up to date.

I like that I can use it use it for almost all of our tracking and file storage

I like how there are ways to connect the sheets, but I wish it was a little more straightforward.

It is our main tracking system and allows us to share and collaborate in one place.
