Everyday user for project management
What do you like best about the product?
consistent template use across PMO. Ability to create reports that update directly to master sheet. Grid view rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not been able to copy and paste from smartsheet to smartsheet or to another app like email or slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through reports, I can empower my team to communicate their task status directly to me via the sheet update. Saves time, errors, and makes status real-time.

What do you like best about the product?
Automating notifications, automating actions for workflow across multiple stakeholders, collaborating simply with an email address, access from multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the formulas very complicated. I dislike that every occasion of requesting help has been met with offer to purchase additional add ons. I would like to be able to add more licensed users in lots of "one" for my mid-market sized company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, Excel spreadsheets were either emailed or shared in a company computer drive only accessible from that drive impeding collaboration.

A Great Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Smarthseets allows users to create trackable, client-facing project plans. This feature helps ensure accountability from all members of the project team (including clients), and reduces the number of email communications needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet would benefit from increasing the number of outside platforms/services with which it can integrate. An integration that would increase Smartsheets functionality include ZenDesk. It would be nice to be able to link the two for organizations whose post-project work depends on ZenDesk for customer facing support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet reduces the communication required to keep a project on task. Because users can share a "sheet" with all members of the project team, a project manager can easily direct team members to regularly check project plan progress async outside of team meetings. A PM can also check on someone's progress themselves.

What do you like best about the product?
The abilitity to make live updates by multiple users eliminates the risk of versioning issues. I like that all our licensed users can access the same sheets, make updates, and I can see the updates as they are making them, instead of sending updated versions of an Excel document back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things I dislike about Smartsheet, but if I had to come up with something, it would be that there is not 100% functionality of the same functions that you can use in Excel. Most of the Excel functions work, but I have noticed not all of them work the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team always has dozens of projects in process at the same time. Smartsheet helps to keep them all organized as far as schedules, deliverable, and next steps.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
good template to start with, with all relevant information like dates, status etc.

Increased productivity and organization thanks to SmartSheet.
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet has made managing multiple schedules incredibly easy, especially with the "Create a Report" option available that allows our teams to pull from multiple schedules at once. On top of this, the filter, sort, and search options make it even easier to find what I'm looking for on sheets that have a lot of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish SmartSheet had more color options. Our team uses the colors to distinguish batches, and we have to re-use a lot of the same ones because options are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet helps my team to know what tasks are due when, as well as allows us to follow the status of the tasks through the "Comment" feature. It saves us so much time when we are looking for the status of items because instead of having to sift through emails, we just go to the SmartSheet and view comments that have been left to figure it out.
Smartsheet make collaboration easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Combine some of the best features of an Excel spreadsheet with the ability to collaborate with a team and you have what makes Smartsheet truly amazing. That doesn't even get into the automation features that can make project management MUCH easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback is that you are essentially limited to an Excel table. It does everything great within that table, but there is no easy way to add extra formula cells outside the table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides an easy way to organize information, collaboratively work with that info, and automate repetitive tasks. It also allows for convenient reporting drawing from several sheets to provide broader overviews without requiring every detail to be shown to stakeholders. I've used it for personal and team action lists, project management, built tools with it through the use of formulas and automation, and for standard spreadsheet type tracking lists.

What do you like best about the product?
it is very easy-to-go app to develop activities and manage your whole projects, you can track the other's progress every day and you get a better performance to succed at any company
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does not work as excel and it can not compute same procedures as excel sheet I hope in the future it can improve the experience of clients that would be amazing

it helps me out managing my activities and time more effiently, right now I feel more productive and I do more than in the past, the same happens with my collegues we have done our projects before the due date
Useful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very user-friendly, an intuituve navigation and accessible for the user. Makes easy to use it with cowerkers to collaborate seeing in real time any updated and making it easy for open any discussion. Also I like that I can use it on the go and see any changes on my smartphone.
What do you dislike about the product?
File storage limited capacity is a featured that could be improve. I also feel some people can think that other free online tools could be useful compared to the higher price Smartsheet offers.

Project planning and tracking, helps plan and track projects effectively using tools like the Gantt charts, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress in real-time. Benefiting our project visibility, improve resource allocation, and timely completion of tasks.
Smartsheet has been great to keep all my Project Management planning tools in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Smartsheet is the scheduling aspect. There are many different ways to track a project using predeccors and successors to be succesful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many don't utilize Smartsheet on the job I am on and it has been difficult to get buy-in from the team using a different tool that they aren't used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving all problems I have with crew/manpower planning. My internal team has bought in and it is used as our sole scheduling tool.
