Project Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to use and allows others to learn quickly. I also like that I can create a long list of templates and resources for my team to utilize for our projects. I have found that there are things I can to in smartsheet to make project planning and tracking more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there are not more integrations that would be helpful for project tracking. We use Tableau a lot and the integration was not as intuitive as I hope it would be. Also, I wish there was a built-in meeting notes system that would integrate with Smartsheet to where the notes would automatically post to a report and send a workflow to let project folks know the notes are done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to create project documents and resources. I create project plans, action items trackers, agenda trackers, project dashboards, and management dashboards. I have also created gantts to show developer workload to allow our owners to see where our resources are being used.
Very easy to use and share information across teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is extremely easy to use/navigate. Users can be brought on quickly and are able to use the product immediately. Secured document sharing between users/organizations is great and helps foster transparency across teams. Workflow automations are great, the product integrates with MS Teams and is HIPAA compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Home page navigation between sheets and workspaces can get crowded.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our project request process is housed in Smartsheet. Users can create new project requests via a form that feeds into our Project Portfolio. Notification of new requests as well as status updates make management of each item extremely easy. Dashboards have been created to show where projects are in the request cycle and we meet to discuss requests and on going projects using dashboards.

The ability to connect data from sheets, reports, and dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
SS dashboards needs more features. The current version is not very smart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SS is the primary software for Trimble's Global Commodity Management team. We have built work apps that communicate with each other and provide our executive leadership team with dashboards and reports that run our world.

The display of all the members contact info

The corporation/organozation can limit the history retention of the messages wich can cause an issue because there is not a general reminder of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves issues with time schedule, by checking my coworkers schedule I can take their time in consideration for any meeting or issues that requires their assitance

What do you like best about the product?
there are plenty of functionalities in this tool I was recommended to use it in the past but I never believed how powerful it was, right now I use smart sheet for ecerything, it is very flexible to use it in managing time and tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
it does not have yet some excel formulas that are very common for statistics or math computation that will power this tool very much I hope you keep working so hard
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the task management, it is very time consuming to schedule activities and tracking the progress of each member, finally it is hard to create a chart of the time used and activities implemented, with smartsheet all this can be automated and you can show the results in real time
Smartsheet is fantastic!
What do you like best about the product?
Automations, forms, reports, reminders, and update requests. I find that once created, sheets pretty much work on their own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a little "buggy" with small, annoying issues. Have submitted suggestions for improvement but haven't heard back yet - not sure I am supposed to though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to more easily report out status of projects, able to track timelines to completion better than ever before, finding ways to collaborate differently than we have before, both internally and externally.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet keeps our large organization together. We can share ideas, projects and plans immediately to the broader company, ensuring everyone has instant access.
What do you dislike about the product?
you have to purchase connectors to programs like JIRA and have IT departments install them to be compatible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration between teams and departments. Projects are updated in a more timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Customizable for different projects/uses. Smartsheet enables my team to stay organized and up to date with project status/progression. I like that its fairly simple to use - not a lot of training required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot use hotkeys like in Excel which enables quicker use/updates for projects. Sometimes i wish that you could add in more complex visuals to the project status options as well.

Smartsheet allows my team to communicate with our clients live without sending emails constantly back and forth. Smartsheet enables us to have one source of truth on status and submitted work.
Great Product Overall
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Smartsheet allows me to automate workflows and tasks, assigning out projects and seeing at a glance statuses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate easier to find training on how to use the features of smartsheet. I often find myself looking to the internet to find how to do something that seems easy given what I know Smartsheet is capable of.

Smartsheet allows me to track projects and create auotmations where I was previously using manual processes through excel.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is how you can track progress of projects in an easy and visual way and put timelines together, and plan strategics with the tools it offers.
Additionally it helps a lot that you can assign takes to other members of the team.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I do not like is that it takes some time to learn how to use the features, this are not so intuitive. I had to have a peer teach me how to use it, and every time I wonder about a new feature I have to look for it on Google.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to track tasks of different projects, it the tasks are done on time, if the team is being productive and it helps me identify when a task is being delayed so I can plan ahead.
