What do you like best about the product?
Able to be viewed and updated live by the whole team. Easy to use that can be self-taught. The features and functions are added to address business needs. Like the smartsheet form which is a great data collection tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be comprehensive and large data depository. Users just need to be aware the appropriate amount of data they have to determine if smartsheet is a good choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management with tasks, accountable team members, and due date.
User friendly and accessible solution for multiple projects and programs in one platform!
What do you like best about the product?
The forms feature is quite helpful in creating and tracking quick survey forms. I also like the minimalistic and modern design - it feels quite intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet lacks the ability of creating mutiple tabs within a sheet which would be a helpful feature instead of creating a new sheet everytime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a great platform to create quick forms and surveys in collecting feedback or smaller scale evaluations. It is a very accesible platform when it comes to collaborating with mutiple team members on a given project or process.
Great tool for everyday PM needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like versatility of SmartSheets. I use it daily, it helps me staying on top of things. I use it to track my schedules, finance, for estimations. It's easy to share with your team, update . Especially I like using reports to consolidate information in different format.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that homepage where you can see your workspaces, you cannot hide Bars to the left and right (Shared to and WOrkspaces>SHeets>etc. When linkin cells from other sheets sometimes the info is not pulling in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is definitely the right tool for people who are not excel friendly. It's easier to maintain and everything is cloud based. So the information is secure.
Easy team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy is to learn to use Smartsheet, no matter how experienced you are using the software. It is great to collaborate with my team, having in real time any updates, discussions, and file attachments access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even tho it is very user friendly I feel Smartsheet has a learning curve to be proactive with the software; to understand all the features and functionalities, especially for more complex workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is great for project planning and tracking it ensures better project visibility, improved resource allocation, and timely completion of tasks. Smartsheet saves us lots of time on back and forth communication between team members.
Simple, Intuitive, and Ready to Deploy
What do you like best about the product?
It's familiar enough to Excel that most high school and college graduates will be able to quickly learn the tool. I was able to deploy SmartSheets across a wide variety of internal employees with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish SmartSheet could auto-notify via email when a field value changes. The use case would be "email Team A when a status or date changes." I wish we had better push notification management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team rolls out a replicable process at scale. Our process has 150+ deliverables and 7-8 task owners. SmartSheet helps keep us organized and on track. Its also deployable via email.
Flexible date based views for project planning
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see tasks and subtasks on again, so calendar view is crucial to our ability to plan projects. We use a per roll estimated time frames to compose a full timeline for each task.This shows individual role allocation across many tasks and you can see where you might have a conflict in the future or where are you may have dead times for a certain role on a project team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature we would love to see given our usage is the ability to assign per role an allocation, like 50% allocated so whatever you estimate days becomes doubled across the actual calendar view like it is recorded in our accounting systems. This would allow us to better represent our work in smart sheets in a consistent way with our other systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both planning and timeline estimation, smart sheets, allows us to see on a calendar view with weekends and holidays taken into account how long our estimated work streams might take.
Excellent Project Management Tool, but Requires More Time to Fully Utilize
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is its user-friendly interface. Even for someone who is not tech-savvy, getting started with Smartsheet was a breeze. The intuitive layout and well-organized menus make it easy to create, track, and manage various projects. The ability to collaborate with team members in real-time has been a game-changer. It enables seamless communication and helps us stay on top of deadlines and milestones. Another standout feature of Smartsheet is the vast array of templates and customization options available. From project timelines to task lists, the software offers pre-designed templates that cater to different project types. Moreover, I appreciate the flexibility to tailor these templates to match our specific project requirements, saving valuable time in setting up new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one major drawback I have encountered is the learning curve and the amount of time required to fully explore the platform's full potential. While Smartsheet offers a wealth of powerful features, I often find myself only scratching the surface due to time constraints. I wish I could dedicate more time to discovering and implementing the less obvious functionalities, as I believe they could significantly enhance our project management processes.

Smartsheet solves project management challenges and benefits me by streamlining tasks, enhancing collaboration, providing valuable insights, optimizing resource allocation, and improving overall productivity.
User friendly layout with deep possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of possibility to create, register or plan different tasks within the company, but also with external partners. Doesn't need a licence to work within smartsheet
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires licence to create work environement. Wraping formula can be quite pain in the head (I come from excel where, from my opinion it requires more skills, but in the end is shorter).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving a lot of time thanks to the overview wich are provided/can be set up. Coordination work with colleagues and partners (inside/outside the company) is made easy thanks to dynamic view, reports, grant ...
Smartsheet makes project management a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has provided a resource that makes tracking and analyzing project statuses across our team a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside to using Smartsheet is the inability or lack of training to make more of a stoplight approach to project tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving our need for a dedicated resource when it comes to tracking marketing projects.
We use Smartsheet primarily for manufacturing production planning and scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive for a spreadsheet user and highly collaborative.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling functions are not very useful for adapting to change. For example, if a particular item becomes delayed, it is too easy to move those dates, and potentially the end dates of a project, without the opportunity to solve the problem and still maintain the original project end. Unlike some other schedulers I have used, Smartsheet makes it too easy to delay projects.

Smartsheet helps solve the problem of collaboration between many facets of project management in a real time way and helping to define the highest priority tasks among a long list of to-dos.
