Great for managing multi projects with client
What do you like best about the product?
I am finding that i can use this as a great tracking document & modify the the columns to suit the clients key deliverables. Being able to append drawings / programmes / additional information is great
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to be aware of the data that is appended to the folders & sometimes there is out of date information left on the site that should of been cleared up. Needs a slightly different viewing doument or multi folders?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My client has literally hundreds of projects split across 30 locations & this needs managing & collating in a clear manner. I can log on to update the projects quickly & the client can see the updates in real time
I find Smartsheet very easy and intuitive to work with
What do you like best about the product?
That it is very structured and reminds me of excel in many ways. But with all the possibilities to tag people, build up flows and send notifications/reminders to yourself
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be quite difficult sometimes to figure out the dashboard function. It can be a bit hard to understand how to pull the correct data and in what way it should be built in separete sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is really good in the way of gathering everyone in the same file and watching live updates, being able to tag people, send notifications and avoid the many e-mails you otherwise have to send. I also like that you can attach files and keep all the information in one place.
Simple to use and offers great features.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to use. You can create new sheets within minutes, complete with drop-down lists, conditional formatting, and many other features. It is also convenient to create forms quickly and share links with others. You can set up your own workspace, share it with the right people, and easily manage permissions. The alert functionality is very useful, and exporting data is also simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of lines in a document is limited. Since we use some pages for archiving data, we often reach the maximum number of lines allowed and must create a new sheet to store additional information. The product also becomes quite costly when it needs to be used by a large number of people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps many people across the organization collaborate easily. It is simple to set permissions and share projects with different teams. The platform is very user-friendly, allowing multiple teams to work on the same page simultaneously and update it as needed.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create forms and keep all data centralised. The app has a very user-friendly interface and offers a lot of online learning regarding the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to navigate for the first few sessions as there is so much going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to gather information from suppliers without having to do so by email. It is also allows us to comprehensively keep on top of current open tasks.
Fantastic, intuitive system
What do you like best about the product?
Very collaborative - I use this every day at work, creating sheets to track projects, dashboard to review progress and its great that we can all work together to make life easier. The automation on sheets also makes my day to day workflow easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any downsides of Smartsheet. The only thing I find annoying is not being able to paste more than 500 rows into a sheet as I do a weekly task that requires this, but I just have to copy and paste a few times so no big deal!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, ease of use, don't have to train new starters on how to use it as it is so intuitive.
Smartsheet could do a lot better with advanced customizations
What do you like best about the product?
For the end user is an easy way to get things organized and access information in bulk. As long a one has to find a record in an existing smartsheet, it is very useful to avoid duplicated information in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the smartsheet administrator, or the one designing the tables and smartsheets, there is a lack of (in my opinion) basic customization and automation features, which eventually, limits the potential uses of existing smartsheets. The problem is not how to enter data, but how to process it and display it in a usefu way to the end user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the teams tasks defined in an orderly way is an advantage. Also we can track the progress of each task, from inception to completion. We used to use excel for this, but now we use smartsheet. Some features of customization that exist in excel are missed in smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
We have staff located in lots of different geographies so the cloud based collaboration ensures everyone is linked up. Our Research and Development team also use Smartsheets to manage their various projects and being able to see the visual progress with gannt charts etc. allows us to have valuable conversations when reviewing sprints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any issues with Smartsheets you just have to commit to the training to ensure everyone is getting the most value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart sheets helps us in a lot of different areas. We use it to make minutes at executive and board meetings and allows us to categorise actions so they can be reviewed when we have our ISO audits. Since we have been working this way the audits have gone very smoothly. It helps our R&D group manage their projects and I really like the fact that you have auditable actions, have all the relevant attachments in once place and can allocate responsibility directly in the project. It saves a lot of time having everything in one place wherever you are in the world.
Overall good experience but need some specific features updates
What do you like best about the product?
The different automated workflows and gant chart view. Pdf creator is also a good feature
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no time format options for cells. Limited formatting options for the different graphs in dashboards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability of tasks, tracking where tasks are delayed and the reason for delays. Helps us to identify project risks.
Creating a sophisticated system without having to be an experienced programmer or coder
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about smarthseet is the way it helps you to create complex workflows and automations with ease. This allows you as a business to tweak and change things until you get it the way you need to fit your business, without all the costs of programmers or companies doing the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing i think smartsheet can work on is how you cannot edit attachments within the program, you have to download and then re upload the document which can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed us to create a system in correlation with qr codes. This means any product we manufacture we identify it through its own unique qr code. Any worker can scan this code on the shopfloor and it takes them automatically to that products own sheet in which people can perform checks, log anything incorrect and take picutres during the build.
